Gday everyone :) a wonderful family I know has had a parents worst nightmare happen with their 2 year old son being diagnosed with a rare bone cancer :( as a result the family has had to have lives put on hold and move to the city. Their legend mates have organised a fund raising event and an auction to help try to raise them some cash, I have chucked in my beloved hat to see if it can gain them any extra coins ! after my divorce, i lived on the beach just like this for 3 months, it was the best time of my life, the iceman would bring me cold beer and meat, i never wanted to leave, i wished i could have lived like that forever.

Once again Chris, great scenic photography! My husband and I thought your made up canvas home on the beach was very well done, including the way you made a dug out, to enhance protection from the elements, as well to give your shelter more stability. You also have one very cute little dog, his antics digging up the sand, hilarious. We love your diversity in shots, including the ones where you take a still of something interesting; just overall, your films have a refreshing rhythm about them. All I can say is that should we be ever hit by a natural or other disaster, you will no doubt have little trouble living off the land. Above all, you show what is possible for camping options in Australia, without the need to necessarily spend out big, to simply have a good time. Cheers, and thank you for the film, which is a nice escape from all the serious things occurring in our world currently. Camping/fishing, getting out in Nature, such soul food. All the best!
Hi Chris, love the way you connect with the environment in such a primitive way, the building of a tarp house on a beach with a million dollar view and mans best friend by your side with all you can eat at your door step, doesn't get much better than this folks, LOVED IT!

Love me some beach fishing. I saw the waves breaking in that morning shot and noticed the gap in the waves indicating a deeper cut or gut between the sandbags. That makes for prime fishing here whe re I fish. Another great video Sir. Keep em comming.. ps I love fishing at first light on the beach as the majority of the larger fish chase bait right at the shore break before the sun comes up. I have caught some really good fish in just inches of water. Just have to stay farther up on the beach so you don't spook them.

Seriously great episode, Chris. You put such an effort in to produce these! Nice fish, too (I haven't seen such a chunky sand whiting, I thought it was a King George at first glance!). Fabulous set up and knock down of your campsite. The dog is hilarious! Must admit, I'm always impressed with what you bring along, but when you pull a kettle bbq out of a pack! Oh the magnificent surf beach of Broulee. We spent 26 summer holidays there, fished that beach at the windsock so many times. A stunning part of the world, you are so lucky to have it on your doorstep. Awesome video Chris

Well Chris it was a while ago but another great vid the insects, that little gray gecko . And the plants that you find all native which give people who watch your vid , that aren’t from Australia what they look for while walking in the coastal areas. Diging your hut right on the surf beach. Completely well made out of the wind and rain, good to see your little mate with you this time,he would have had a ball, chasing the waves,keep up the great vids. Neil.

After blatantly borrowing several of your set up ideas from previous videos, this gives me several more ideas for my next trip. Love your originality and ingenuity mate, no other channel like yours on you tube. Really appreciate the effort you go to to bring us all amazing content.
Leave nothing but footprints take nothing but 2 nice tasty fish. Kind off missed the Music but the sound of the waves was mellowing.

Love these bush craft vids so much! A little trick I learnt while shark fishing from the beach using pvc pipes as rod holders, jam the pipe in the sand as far as it will go then literally put you mouth in the top part and suck the air out and push at the same time, really buries it in the sand and makes it that much more sturdy that you can reel big fish in without even taking the rod out of the holder if you want... works with sharks! You probably already know this but yeah works for me 👍
