Not cheap but Justin comes up with another mod to make his C8 Z06 just a little better. Justin is a master of careful selection of these mods. Good job. Oh, there WAS the Batman video divider! Look good! Functions well and as stated “feels good baby.” Nicely done Justin!
The clink on a Lambo is akin to the clung on a Harley. When I first experienced that many moons ago, I thought something was wrong and went back to the dealer. They told me it was "normal." Yeah right. Until I spoke to a few Harley owners, and they too said it was normal. Whew. 😁 Boy, those Paragon magnetic Paddle Shifters are really, really cool. I think they would be the first addon that I'd want if I had a C8. As usual Justin, you did a great demo as to the removal of the old and the install of the new. Even though I don't think there's a big difference in the sound, the fact that the new ones are all metal AND they're bigger than the factory shifters make them worth the money. The reduced travel distance with Paragon's is impressive. I actually didn't notice any. Who would thought that someone would come up with short-throw shifter for automatic? I have the MGW short-throw shifter in my Vette and it is impressive to say the least. Doing your driving video, you were having entirely too much fun. 🤣 You could have at least given us a few more OMG;s! 😉 Now I want you to take me for a ride! Save the Wave 👋
lol right? I can never contain enthusiasm when it is unexpected. I went into the install with low expectations and these things blew me away by their functionality and overall appearance!
Man, this video is impressive! I didn’t think I’d get rid of my CF paddles but those shifts are so much faster, and you’re right, they do look really good too. I think I might just have to get them from your site 🤔
They Look AMAZING and function as well. Thank you for this I am ordering mine now. Justin I cant imagine why you would want a ZR1 when you have 2 of the ABSOLUTE FINEST cars ive ever seen and they are flawless. Best of Luck Bro
I'm blown away by how much better they are. The red would look great in your car because it is likely going to be an anodized red which is very close to edge red.
The feeling of the paddle shifters is just about my only complaint with the Z06 so I started shopping for these and noticed you just posted a video about them. Perfect timing, I’ll definitely be picking some up for mine
I'm glad you did a video on these. I discovered them a few weeks ago looking for bigger paddles like what you see on Ferraris and such. These looked cool but I wasn't sure if they would be worth that supercar price. But now, I think so. I understand people complaining about the price, but I mean if you can buy a 150K+ car, come on. I don't have my Z06 yet, but I am working with two dealers now on a 2025 order. They have my info and build, just waiting on an allocation that allows for all my options. The biggest hurdle is the constraint still on the carbon Aero package. I know I could do that aftermarket but I'd rather have it from the factory. I could have had an allocation sent to be built already, but thanks to that aero package I had to pass up on that allocation. I really hope one of these dealers (a certain one in particular especially) get that allocation I need asap.
That was my main concern at first too, the price. Honestly, the price IS high but for how much better the driving experience is, I'd say it's worth it. Congrats on the pending Z06!
I have a 2020 C8 HTC 3LT with the carbon trim, and it still has the aluminum trim and bright speaker grills. I would buy these just for the aesthetic and the bigger size. 👍🏼
I wouldn't have agreed originally. I had to have them in my hand to really see how much better they look on the interior. The bigger size and the shifting feel is just out of this world!
I definitely like how there’s a shorter distance between the shift distance. But dammit I love my carbon fiber shifters. I actually got the extended CF shifters with the Red + and - from paragon. I’ll probably give them a try anyway because it looks like you’re having way too much fun!
With my previous comment about praising these… I understand that everyone along the distribution chain has to make their cut, and these will sell low numbers, so I expect them to be expensive. Maybe $400-450 expensive, but approaching a G at $730 ?!? They’re gonna sell even less, including not me. Gonna pass 👎🏼 Sorry..
Exactly my point, Trout. Some things you just can't go "cheap" on. Now with that said, I do think these are pricey, no doubt about it, but I also think they are worth it because you aren't getting knock of style quality. These are very well built.
It's the C8 tax. 'Oh, you own a C8? You can afford to pay this for our product... at least until someone else comes out with another better cheaper version... then price may drop'
I’ve owned my Z06/Z07 for 2 months I saw Chevy is way over producing Z06s. They said 20%. They’re at 36% this year. I just sold my Z06 and bought a Lamborghini. After 25 years of Porsche 911s I thought I’d try the corvette because of the flat plane crank. Great engine no doubt. Hugely disappointed in Chevy but then given what all three American manufacturers did during Covid and raising prices I should have known . Z06 prices are already nosediving. So I’m out. Too bad. Great car
@@tharinduperera8758 - I hate to break it to you, but you can tell the travel distance is shorter. Which equates to faster shifting. Having a C8 I know there is travel distance in those paddles that if shortened would increase shift times.
@@tharinduperera8758 He didn't mean the trans itself shifts faster. Of course not. But it is faster from the point of you starting to press the paddle and the shift happening, due to less distance traveled.
I can't believe how much I like these... Definitely a game changer! 🤯 Get YOURS here: bit.ly/3ZRzwq1 👍👍
You’re reaction speak volumes. Looking forward to red ones.
I was very pleasantly surprised with them. I didn't think I'd like them so when I saw how awesome they were I was blown away!

I am a carbon fiber guy so if you see me swapping it out, there is a damn good reason! Definitely grab them from my site if you do get them.
The fact that it’s metal is already an improvement, the sound is just a bonus on top.
100% agree.

I appreciate it man! I’m definitely thinking I might keep the z06.
Wow, the tactile feedback must be amazing. Good job 🎉
Thank you!
Big difference, I like it , I think it’s a little over priced otherwise I would buy it
It is pricey... Literally the only "con" of this product in my opinion.
Oh thats cool. The second best part of the Gallrdo is the clink. The first is the V10 in your ear 😁 great video
Indeed it is! Thanks for getting me hooked on that CLINK! 🤣🤣

Paragon needs to add stars from sellers approving product!
That's not a bad idea!

The stock paddles are metal.
The part you touch, yes, none of the internals are metal. All plastic.
I don’t have corvette upgrade money. It’s Amazon adhesive shifters for me. I’d absolutely love these though.
They're awesome! You can't beat the quality. They are pricey though so I understand.
Those look like high quality pieces for sure! What do you think the weight difference is between that and stock?
I didn't put them on the scale but it would be very negligible. Less than a few ounces.

It's the C8 tax. 'Oh, you own a C8? You can afford to pay this for our product... at least until someone else comes out with another better cheaper version... then price may drop'
The benchmark car to compare to is the Porsche PDK paddles.
Those look pretty awesome.....I wonder if they'll have some in blue?
Pretty cool man!
I’m pumped for them!
I’m in when they come in black. Now someone needs to make some aftermarket steering wheel stalks that don’t feel so cheap and match those in a Tahoe.
Please tell me a C7 version will be released! Love them!
I’m hoping so too!
These are also available for the c7, will it improve the lag on the c7?
I haven't heard anything official but the C7 trans is a little sluggish so it will improve it but it won't make miracles happen.
Do they make something similar for a C7?
Not yet, no.
Bro your voice says it all.. pure joy for sure!
I was very pleasantly surprised!
I have seen a lot of reviews popping up on these this week. Did the company comp you these shifters to do the review or was it a personal purchase?
Missed the Batman video divider!

So does this mean your carbon fiber ones are available???
Mayyyyybe. 😁

Not sure I like the shape they have chosen. Doesn't seem to work with the interior lines.

@@HorsePowerObsessedOne of those things that needs to be seen maybe. Function is very solid though.
But carbon fiber would take it to next level.
WIth how these are built, carbon fiber would actually take away from the experience and that means a lot coming from me since I LOVE carbon fiber lol
Sorry but the Price is prohibitive,...
The price is the only con for these things but at the same time, good stuff isn't free.
