AND WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! REG SIGER DUDE YOU ARE SOMTHING I'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE IN MY WHOLE LIFE MY FRIEND !!!!! HEAVEN HEAVEN HEAVEN LOVE IT.
Thanks for the flattering comments, Darrenn, you made an old man very happy. I'm just trying to show the old KN7000 has plenty of life left.....if one if willing to spend a bit of time re-exploring it.
Never had the 6500. Went straight from 5000 to 7000. The 6500 was a great improvement on the 6000. As far as I know, the 6500 has a lot of the same sounds as the 7000, and also pretty much the same sound programming features, but the 7000 is leaps ahead with even more , not least by having SD card facility for saving your work (on top of the disk drive)
Very nice demo ,Reg. You have a warm and encouraging way about you in showing us kn 7000 owners how to get the most out of a marvelous instrument. And thanks for your reply to my comment on another of your kn videos. I am making some progress on creating new theater sounds on my ' board. Keep feeding us your kn tutorials- they are most appreciated!
Just got my technics kn 7000 keyboard and found you. Thanks for the tuition I can now try some of the things you have demonstrated. I can only apreciate your talent and to say Thank you Jefrey Whitehouse
Thank you very much for your fast answer and I'll follow you in your videos. Make others, I'm sure they'll be a great success with thousands and thousands of followers. I'm one of them, of course!! Many compliments from Italy! 👏👏👌👌👌👍👍👍👍😉
Hallo Rieg, I've a Technics kn7000 and I'm very satisfied and happy to play it, because is a keyboard that is an evergreen today, yet, about my opinion. The hightech go on every month, I understand, but quality of Technics sound never goes out of style!!! This combi you've shown very well in this video I didn't know and I've learned with great pleasure. What's the title of this wonderful piece, please? Thank you and.....great glory to Technics label in the centuries!!!!
Regrettably, I am not that good with organ sounds , Nestor. I prefer orchestral etc.sounds. I am sure there are more qualified organ players on You tube!
Interesting. The only breath controller I ever used was on the Yamaha DX100, a mini version of the famous DX7. I Am not aware it can be used on a KN7000? I remember many years ago playing background music in a pub with that thing in my mouth and on reflection, it didn't look particularly cool! I prefer to use the touch sensitivity at its extreme levels ( see my first video)
Here is an example of one such a breath controller, you only need to plug into the MIDI in : th-cam.com/video/9pEAf9sMb8k/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=2010eingangausgang
Hallo Reg, I'm agreed with you fully, Kn7000 is a very great instrument and I've bought one in the far 2001. Many voices are amazing and no less than Tyros ones. Among these Concert piano, symphonic strings, accordions musette and cassotto and many jazz organs. Styles perhaps in Tyros arrangers are more sophisticated. I think that if Technics could produce digital pianos and arrangers even today, we would find in the market beautiful and amazing products that in the '80 and' '90 gave laws to other concorrent factories!!! A great loss with the failure of Technics brand for the electronic instruments market, really....
@@regsiger2211 Surely they would be the champions of technology and masterly!! The PCM 2 has been one of the best way of sampling sounds. Before the Kn7000, my first was the world best seller Kn2000, then 5000 and finally the flagship. I've always a Technics fan. In the last two months, I've added a digital piano Roland fp30x as second keyboard put in lower side. I like very much to dialogue classic acoustic piano voice with Kn7000 solo trumpet or French horns and many classical Bach's piece as chorale or cantatas. Or the Roland French harpsichord (really loveable!) with Full organ pipe and soloist oboe. I'd like let you listen to my interpretation of "Blackforest walking" using Technics swing style and piano jazz phrases of Roland fp30x. Really a great combo of two amazing instruments!!! 👍👍👍 Many greetings an Merry Christmas and an Happy New Year from Italy!!! ⛄🍾
can you use larger SD cards 1gb don't seem to be available anymore and can you connect jukebox on windows 10 PC never had a problem with win XP any assistant gratefully appreciated
Hello Peter, Being a technophobe, I have never used a computer in connection with my KN7000, so my expertise in that field is non-existent. As far as SD cards are concerned, I have found that anything over 1gb doesn't seem to work on my KN. I have managed to find the odd 64/128 mb SD on line, but obviously these are rare. Neverthless, it might be worth trying. Even the old mb SDs can store an incredible amount of data. To answer your computer-related question, it might be worth having a look at the Technics KN website. Best, R
I have SD card 8gb in KN7000.The format is made in the keyboard and it works. The keyboard reads 1-2GB.Maybe more I'm not sure I should check. It's a card 8GB Kingston SD.Purchased one year ago.I used it in car navigation Garmin.
Thanks everyone will have to experiment I have an old computer with windows XP322 on it a friend decided to throw it out so I grabbed it .lol when I think how old now this keyboard is and as far as I know the only one that takes SD cards for storage and mine is still going strong
I like tecnics sx kn products but unfortunately in 2006 there was no more I hope the Tecnics products will be there again but only Korg, casio.yamaha psr and others but only my dream is the product sx kn tecnics I hope the product will be in Indonesia thanks you
Try on Google under " Technics KN 7000 for sale" . I don't know whether the sellers would be willing to ship keyboard s from UK to your country as it might be expensive, but you can only try asking. Surely, there must be other countries nearer yours, such as Japan where you could find second-hand Technics keyboards? After all, there were a Japanese product! Best of luck, Reg
@@romadhonismail4536 Not sure I understand your question. If you ask the meaning of "second-hand".or "used item", it is a keyboard that has been pre-owned, and the owner wants to sell it. You could try find one in Malaysia or Singapore?
The KN7000 is no longer in production, for many years. When new, the price was around £ 2,000. You can still pick one up second-hand (in UK at least) for around £1,100 (from a music shop) or £700-£800 from a private individual. The S/H price is still relatively high after all these years, because the KN7000 was and still is a fantastic quality keyboard.

Hello Darrenn, Sorry for the delay in replying. For some reason, your message didn't appear in the comments, so I've only spotted it today. Little bit confused about your Key shift problem. As far as I understand, the Octave Shift button only operates on R1 & R2, not on the LEFT, or AUTOPLAY, at least on the KN7000. Never had the 6500, so not sure if I can help! Best, Reg

There are many different makes of foot pedals on the market which will work with the KN7000. Mine is a BESPECO sustain pedal
