Doctor I'm loosing obsene amount of hair all over scalp after a salon based chemical straightening. The chemical wasn't washed out of my head properly and my scalp health deteriorarted initially. Also, my hair were damaged. Is prp effective? Like do we need maintenance sessions in prp forever for lifetime to keep the hair growth we get from it? Do we again loose hair which we gain from prp? Please suggest! Also, please shed some light on Monoxidil.
Can hello Dr. Jenny, is it alright for me to dye/bleach my hair after 1 month postpartum? I’m worried it might worsen the post part I’m hair loss when the time comes.
Yes! My scalp was very tender after my first during the shedding and regrowth stage. Now after my second, my scalp is tender again and I'm losing more hair than I did with my first. I also had major scalp tingling, like pins and needles, once the hair began to grow back after my first.
I feel like minoxidil foam makes my hair dry (at least in the area of application), is that valid? Do you have any tips for that? Right now I'm only putting it on MWF which I know can make it take even longer to see results....
Thank you for sharing this at a perfect time! Can you also briefly talk about those hair growth serum from Brands like maya chia, ordinary, and vegamour? How do those help with hair loss/hair thinning? Is rose spray good for scalp?
There are very limited studies on these. The risk of using Is low, so certainly can try. Just keep in mind you want to dedicated at least 3-6 months of using before results are seen
Could you do videos with real-life patients? I'm going through a SA-purge right now and I'm feeling a bit lost. My appointment with a dermatologist is in 4 months ): I appreciate the work of online-derms however just speaking about a skin care product is much easier than using it. A product might look great on the paper but a consumer might get into trouble with it.
LLLT, topical minoxidil 5percent, prp, spironolactone, continue vitamins and vitamin D, zinc and iron. Check scalp health (itchy or flakey)
Hi doctor, would it be safe to do a botox hair treatment in the 3rd month after giving birth? To avoid frizz and in turn reduce breakage?
Does postpartum hairloss include itchiness?? My scalp is intensely itchy

This is so helpful. I had been told that using sal. acid w/ topical minoxidal prevents the minoxidal from working fully and well. Is this true?
Would the same technique s apply to menopause or post menopause? I notice more often shedding and hair loss
