Definitely worth the purchase!!! I received mine in Oct 1 through the early Kickstarter price. This scooter is a beast especially for me in NYC. Its so fast even without the Sport + mode (I don't active much). Something between a Ninebot Max and a GT2 (I also had a Ninebot Max). I love it

I was debating on getting this scooter but ended up buying the GT2. If you go slow you can get the range out of the GT2 (maybe not as much as the P100S). But the acceleration GT2 just puts a smile on my face. But then again it's in a different class. The reason I went with the GT2 over this scooter is I have massive hills on my commute and the P100S would struggled vs the GT2 just eats them like its nothing. The P100S is still a great scooter and you did a great job on reviewing it.

@It's Cowtown The GT2 is very expensive and overpriced so for that money there are many better options out there starting for example from scooters with bigger BRAND batteries!
Regarding the P100S, the deck is too short and the handle bar is too low, I'm a big guy so this scooter is best suited for small people.
And in Australia we are second class citizens (always) because they sell the P100SE which is speed limited by Law but they give the option to unlock it for ~$100 more, they say that they replace the controller???
However, I tried the unlocked one (SE) and it was awful, the scooter reached comfortably 30Km/h but then it struggled to go above that speed.
I'm not sure if the vendor is a crook or the scooter is a crap but I'm NOT going to spend my money for an over priced toy.
From this video I learned that the max speed can be unlocked via APP so the vendor didn't know that??
And there's another vendor that sells the P100S (unlocked from factory) but I won't risk to buy something from internet that isn't what is declared on the paper.
Another negative point is that there is NO information regarding the cells being used in the battery pack so since I only trust brand batteries, I won't consider this overpriced toy at all!

Any European users that own the P100SE? I’d like to know if the P100S & P100SE only have software limitations or also different specs. Most of the European countries have these limited to 25km/h, which is a little slow for me. I’m used to 31km/p and that is fine, maybe a little more power uphill but that’s it. Segway customer service is useless. Bad English and don’t have any clue as to what I’m talking about. All they say is watch the Segway store. How they can get away with this when customers have spent over $2K for there product including taxes I don’t have the faintest idea.

In all of the reviews no one discusses how dysfunctional their Chinese customer service is. There’s no one in America to properly support their product.
I read tons of reviews from so called TH-camrs. This prompted me to make up my informed decision to purchase their product.
I compare this to the recent debacle of FTX and all the ensuing law suits against those celebrities who hawked and supported the company because investors trusted them.
Why do you guys do that ? Why don’t you inform the consumers at large of all of a company’s overall operations not unlike an investigative reporter for an international news organization ?
