Nice one, having all the gear makes life a little easier out there, especially by yourself.

Yes. Very hard to convince others that I need all this amazing surveying equipment. But YES it makes undertaking the survey so much faster. I must make a video on on the gear I have.

Can I ask why you don’t two-face your station shots?

Hi. Generally I hit read in 2 faces ( Leica FN Tools 2 face ) in measure mode, for most of the obs to control stations only. Probably not shown here. Good practice. Good comment!

hi. thanks for sharing your project's information. i work with total ts06 & GPS foif A90. but i have a question. is it possible do this survey only with gps? it seems that you measure the corner of building with gps, and why you use total?

Hi. On some occasions YES I can use just the GPS because it has the Tilt functionality and because the accuracy is not as important. But if the survey requires more accuracy and that is case ( most times) then I use the Total Station to measure the corners etc. I've never heard of the GPS foift A90? Can you share more details?

How you deal with poisonous snakes and spiders, are they a real problem in wildness?

Hi. Yes spiders and snakes can be a problem esp. in Australia but I tend to work away and never notice them. Maybe I've walked right passed them. I've been pretty lucky not to be face to face with a brown snake as yet. Only really have to worry during summer periods. Yes they are pretty dangerous in Australia!

why don't you just measure corners and heights in non-reflective mode? is it a strict requirement, prof working culture or smh else?

Hi. The reflectorless measurement is very accurate for what I'm doing. It does save me having to leave the total station and walk over to the position. I can observe all the points I need to measure by being behind the total station. However some places I do observe with the prism or AP20 pole.

Thanks for your comment. I don't have any work vacancies sorry. I think - stay tuned, I plan to have a work experience day and have a few people to experience the survey marks. A day with the " Global Surveyor".
