A special thanks to both , but especially to Stephen Meyer. Although I'm not a scientist , I've always had had an interest in it. After watching the video "The Information Enigma" , I was completely floored at how lack-less in substance naturalism is at explaining any of their main principles of their Ideology. Yes , science demonstratively shows a Creator and Intelligence if you rationally evaluate it without bias or impiety.

9:21 “The _laws_ of nature don’t actually cause things. They describe patterns that we observe but they’re not the _causes_ of things.” *And* _good_ scientists acknowledge that this is true, that language is a shape which relates a thing. But also that in a deeper semiotic sense, things themselves are slippery chains of signifiers-words referring to words referring to _is’s_ which inform our _oughts._
So excited to know there is a new book and movie. I never fail to learn something from both these men and thank the Lord for the gift of them both to the world.
Currently studying all aspects of history that have played the biggest roles in societies; Science, Literature, philosophy, theism. From the same perspective of looking into the opposition . . Fascinating. And interested in anymore sources that point to accurate history?
I love Meyer's demeanor. He's so calm and rational. He's never disparaging unlike so many of the Atheists like Krauss riding the speaking circuit. I think maybe it speaks loudly about the confidence level of being right rather than getting angry because of the cognitive dissonance the Atheists seem to have knowing deep down that they are wrong.
These two are seriously informed and very interesting to listen to. The Greek word Logos in John also means rational... the Liddell Scott Greek Lexicon has 3 1/2 densely packed columns - definitions and meanings of this astonishing word. It is easily one of the most broad word in the entire Greek language. Logos = information... fantastic connection Dr Lennox!
I guess it's not feasible for anyone to justify the age of the universe except God himself. So what does numbers like 13.8 million years imply? Nothing! You see, it's just a mere speculation based on ever changing conditions. Astronomers estimate the age of the universe in two ways: (a) by looking for the oldest stars;(now stars also keep on dying at some point of time, so we can only guess at this point) and (b) by measuring the rate of expansion of the universe and extrapolating back to the Big Bang(now this is also a relative factor). We as humans can't determine certain things except God reveals it to us! Where were we when God made us? When we look at the Bible ,it says in 6 days God made the heaven and earth. Now, the question arise with respect to what are the days estimated ? Now, peter says *for God a thousand years is like a day* and a day like a thousand years.
Really creepy. I was listening to a video yesterday that mentioned the JFK assassination for all of 10 minutes. It also mentioned how Huxley died on the same day. I went to check it out and found out CS Lewis had also died on that day. The next video I watched was this one which mentions the last year of CS Lewis being 1963.

Love this man. I bought this film and it's absolutely brilliant!
Our Lord has given John Lennox a great gift. ❤️🙏🙏
Dr. Lennox and Kevin Sorbo are on my "dinner party" list, after rekindling my interest in apologetics recently. I will be glued to my screen when I watch this.
This talk has just come up in my feed! What a fantastic discussion.... One of the best! Please come back again soon 🙏
Just Beautiful! From Brazil!
A wonderful discussion between two 21st century scientists who also happen to be men of Christian faith. Thank you.
John, I know you like Jordan Peterson. Could you email him to meet up next time you are in Toronto? I think he needs you. Just a private meet up maybe. He just made a short video and at the end he invoked the “grace and mercy of God”.
He has been through the ringer. I would love to hear that he encountered your kindness. What could it hurt to ask?
He is going to be teaching on Proverbs soon-and then Exodus!
I appreciate you so much.
Thank you guys for this interview. Fascinating!! To God be the Glory!
Guys, I love you both… what a great idea both of you have a talk! Keep up your good work! Greetings from a brother in Christ!
I never heard brilliant scientists or mathematician like John Lenox discuss about Daniel 8:14 the 2300 days and the 70 weeks of Danile in Daniel 9:24-26..
Brilliant discussion.
Please make the movie accessible outside of the USA. I would live to see it.
i realy enjoy hearing Dr Lennox .well done Dr Meyer too.
A special thanks to both , but especially to Stephen Meyer. Although I'm not a scientist , I've always had had an interest in it. After watching the video "The Information Enigma" , I was completely floored at how
lack-less in substance naturalism is at explaining any of their main principles of their Ideology. Yes , science
demonstratively shows a Creator and Intelligence if you rationally evaluate it without bias or impiety.
Two intelliegent scholars and Christians!!!
I went to the site and searched on TH-cam but am unable to obtain the movie. There are copies I suppose on TH-cam but they don’t play or have sound. Was it actually released in November? How can we watch this? It really shouldn’t be that difficult.
What a privilege to hear this conversation!
This will be a great book! God bless you with more wisdom and understanding!
Will the movie be showing in Canada as well?
These two men are wonderful gifts to us and for advancing the Kingdom of God🙌
You can never go wrong with Jesus Christ - the Author and Finisher of our faith !!! ✝️
Lewis failed algebra? My gosh there is hope for me!
I know, right? ;)
Iron sharpens iron. Thank you God for providing men like these.😊
Outstanding discussion by two of my apologetic heroes. Supports our Christian faith as both logical and good science.
I purchased the DVD of Against the Tide and it's awesome.. Will not disappoint you. It is an immersive engaging journey filmed inside Oxford and the Holy Land. Nice scene of the pub where CS LEWIS and RR TOLKIEN often sat together
Thanks so much for this excellent interview, so wide ranging and inspiring! I appreciate the work you both continue to do for the cause of Christ! :-)
Never forget when John Lennox whipped Laurence Krauss ass in the dialogue they had.
These guys are two of my favorites always get jacked up listening to them. I can't wait to see this movie! John Lennox as Hercules, this is going to be awesome! 🙄😋🤔😲🤣 Ha ha
9:21 “The _laws_ of nature don’t actually cause things. They describe patterns that we observe but they’re not the _causes_ of things.”
*And* _good_ scientists acknowledge that this is true, that language is a shape which relates a thing. But also that in a deeper semiotic sense, things themselves are slippery chains of signifiers-words referring to words referring to _is’s_ which inform our _oughts._
Great interview. I look forward to the movie!
So excited to know there is a new book and movie. I never fail to learn something from both these men and thank the Lord for the gift of them both to the world.
Great to hear this interview! Thanks!
Can't wait to see the movie. Long overdue :)
Currently studying all aspects of history that have played the biggest roles in societies; Science, Literature, philosophy, theism. From the same perspective of looking into the opposition . . Fascinating. I've came across John Hedley Brooke, Luc Ferry, Jürgen Habermas, Alexis De Tocqueville, C S Lewis, A.W Tozer, Leonard Ravenhill, George Whitefield, Charles Finney, Charles Spurgeon, John Calvin, H.G Wells. . And interested in anymore sources that point to accurate history?
What a wonderful discussion! We live not in a matter/energy universe, but in a WORD based universe!
Here is Daniel Dennett telling us that cognition goes all the way down. I see this as progress
I was raised up, west of Odessa, Texas, where you can see the stars that are for signs!
(Genesis 1: 14)
These two are seriously informed and very interesting to listen to. The Greek word Logos in John also means rational... the Liddell Scott Greek Lexicon has 3 1/2 densely packed columns - definitions and meanings of this astonishing word. It is easily one of the most broad word in the entire Greek language. Logos = information... fantastic connection Dr Lennox!
What about the age of the earth. I commend you two gentleman for speaking on this topic with your opponents in a calm way.
Thanks for sharing your experiences and your faith. God bless you both.
