How To Make A Rechargeable Motorguide Xi5 Remote

Perth Fishing Tips and Tricks - I became sick of having my Motorguide xi5 electric trolling motor remote batteries drain unexpectedly rendering the motor USELESS right when you need it the most - so, I did something about it.
I have modified my remote control so that it can now be recharged, so no more flat batteries!!!!
This could actually be applied to any remote control, provided it is 3 volt (or you get the appropriate module) and has the room inside.
Also, apologies for the terrible video quality, I won't make that mistake again.

Hi Chris, I've never had a syncing issue with my remote if I'm honest, so never had to do it! What motor you running?

@@Damo_Vinci motor guide xi3 55. I looked a video, trying a few time but no luck. I’ll revisit this week. I use the vessel view 703 to control it.
