I'm so happy to have found your site. I've been looking for Seafoam candy for years. As kids, we walked to school past a Franco, neighborhood grocery, the kind that sprung up in the front room of a neighbor's house. Always the Canadian lady had candy, home made: potato candy, Needham, fudge, candy apples, chocolate covered fruit squares, Seafoa.. oh my. Imagine those 50s kids parting with their nickels for exquisite candies.
There is a bar candy I recieved from someone in Australia that sounds like this. It's called Violet Crumble. The bar is firm and crunchy and is coated in chocolate.
I made this a couple years ago and it turned out so good, It wasn't exactly like his but I might adjust for that this time.. Although I am going to be trying to make it keto.. I hope it turns out because it's my favorite candy and I refuse to be poisoned anymore by the processed food we have been lied to about :(
Would LOVE to see the rest of the process! After it is cooled, let’s see the chopping and chocolate-dipping. Thanks!

I’ve made this, but without the gelatin. Looks amazing
