    My co workers, Ulric and Ricky Ronk, are in the market for one of these. Just sent them this video! They told me to say thanks and subbed

    You are so right, I was not born to be a human forklift. Especially at home. Thanks for a great video it just makes my back feel better. You take care and good luck.

    I have the same hoist but I was under the impression that it was 440 single pull and 880 double pull. Yikes. I have to admit it has lifted everything I have tried to the loft in my barn. Works fantastic. It has never shown any strain in lifting anything. I am happy with it.

      It’s a great little lift! Really comes in handy a lot in my shop. No more lifting things like an idiot haha. Thanks for watching man!

    I have a low garage ceiling, just 17 inches from my ceiling to the roof of my jeep. How far does the bottom of the hook hang from your ceiling mount when the cable is fully retracted? Thanks.

    • @jimmysgarage9068
      @jimmysgarage9068  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ok, when hanging, the bottom of the hook measures about 17” from the ceiling mount. It can be tucked away though and it’ll sit about 10” from the mount. Hope that helps! 🤘🇺🇸

      @@jimmysgarage9068 Thank you for the reply, very helpful information. I was looking for a way to hoist the removable roof. I probably will need a different setup.

      @@trialmx Yeah man! Suggestion: You could set up a pulley over your Jeep and attach a cable to this hook and use it that way. That’ll give you way more clearance. Just a thought! 🤘🇺🇸

    I think that hoist sounds good just turning it off and on !

      I may have lowered and raised it for a good 1/2 hour just for fun. 🇺🇸🤘

    I currently use a 1-ton chainfall I got from HF for lifting duties, but an electric hoist would be faster & easier I think. Gonna look at one of these, thanks for another great product review! 👍

      @jimmysgarage9068  ปีที่แล้ว

      That was my thought - make it faster and easier. Thanks for watching Dave! 🇺🇸🤘

    How many feet per minute I want to buy something that I can use to move an object kinda quick

    • @jimmysgarage9068
      @jimmysgarage9068  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure how to measure that. It’s not for speed - but does a good job lifting for me.

      @@jimmysgarage9068 only way I know is pull out about 30 foot.Start stop watch and hoist at same time.After 60 seconds take a measuring and see how many feet is left.That will give you how many feet per minute it pulls

    What’s the width of the metal attached to the beams?

    • @jimmysgarage9068
      @jimmysgarage9068  ปีที่แล้ว

      2" Angle Iron. I'd upgrade if I were lifting anything super heavy - but it's mostly lighter stuff.
