Nicely done. It’s possible to mess up this loyalty mission and not get him to be loyal to you. But I believe you handled the conversation at the very end of the mission in a way that allows Zaeed to be loyal even though Vido lived
I think you could’ve left Zaeed to die when he is pinned down. And then, if you had failed the check, I think he would’ve come with still since you had just decided already to let him come with still, BUT wouldn’t have been loyal to you. Which could have repercussions later… Don’t quote me on this 100% but I think I’m remembering how it works right. Either way, well done navigating that mission. Did it flawlessly even in a blind playthrough.
Thoa monkeys are actually the Space Monkeys you encountered in ME1 on the planet where you'd get anaphylactic shock in seconds from spores. That could explain the long noses - to trap and filter out those spores. Krogan call them pyjakss and they are a pestilence on their homeworld.
Mordin's conversation goes differently had you locked in a romantic partner by that time. For men, he gives advice wrt Miranda, Jack and Tali. For women he gives advice about "contact" with Garruss, Thane and Jacob. If you decide to stay loyal to say Liara, this is the talk you get!!

Thoose bonus powers you can choose with the "Advanced training research" are the same ones your companions unlocks when they are loyal and they replace your "Flashbang Grenade" which is technically from Kasumi. For Vanguard I highly recommend either Barrier or Fortification for additional defense that you get from Jacob or Grunt's loyalty.
If you undertake the loyalty mission after you complete the main story, there is an additional outcome available; but no spoilers as to what it is of course!
Why is Paragon Shepard so pissed off at Zaeed? Because, if you recall, Saren similarly blew up a refinery to get to his target easily and then laid the blame on Anderson for the entire debacle.

Causing one valve to stick in the open position results in a building wide fire??? Who in the blazes designed such a death trap? And what kind of fire suppression system LOCKS PEOPLE IN but expects some person to come in from the outside and manually turn it on?? If not Zaeed's attempt to blow up one scaffold, something else would have killed all those workers eventually smh!!!
