Thanks Tony, yeah epoxy putty is holding our TV to the wall. The fixings weren't holding in the blocks very good so I packed a load of this in there and it worked a treat 🙂. Take care David 👍
Brilliant build mate looks cracking..... by the way thanks David...... my better half was listening to the commentary on the video now she wants s door bell...... nice Dave very good lolololol
Lovely relaxing video that shows how much enjoyment you get from your workshop and the projects carried out in it. Keep up the good work as i really enjoy your channel and look forward to your new uploads - Thankyou
Nice job, David. Weirdly, we were watching an episode of The Repair Shop last night when they were rescuing a weathercock that had fallen from a church spire. Haven't seen one in years and now 2 in 2 days! Go figure. Anyway, take care of yourself - I am never fitting a doorbell in the shed. Only time I get a bit of peace. :-)
Question... What makes the vane's arrow point in the correct direction and not in the opposite direction? I've watched many videos on how to build a vane, but nobody has explained this concern. What makes it really confusing is that the arrow is supposed to be perfectly balanced on the pin. Thank you.
I don't really know Dave, when I looked into this my conclusion was having more surface area to the back of the weather vane. Then this makes the arrow point to where the wind is coming from. Not sure if this is correct but it's hard to check mine as it is close to buildings and trees.
Nice idea 👍 the cat likes it too! 🐱
Thanks Phill 👍🙂
good vid dave allways like to see your cat.
Thanks Catherine, I try to get him in my videos if he's around but usually he's asleep 😀🐱
