Soi Fon had been wearing that outfit since her first manga appearance. The original anime censored it, and then TYBW brought it back. So she's been wearing it since cour 1😆
but lately she was with bandages that's why it looks different, maybe she got healed off screen or it's a mistake who knows

@@boser57 remember her entire body got blown up in her fight ep 2 of cour 2 and was heavily damaged that's why her whole body was wrapped in bandages beginning this cour then took it off this episode she's completely healed. Both you and him are correct. No mistakes, soi fon has been wearing the correct manga appearance since cour 1 started, healed by either hisane or Jushiro

[Tidbits]
- The “Valley of Screams” was a concept actually first introduced in the Bleach Film “Memories of Nobody” but this episode/chapters makes the concept and the movie Canon. The Valleys of Screams are pockets of space varying drastically in size. They are composed of souls ejected from the reincarnation cycle and these dimensions reside in the Garganta. Even though the Reiatsu in the Garganta is incredibly unstable, the Valleys of Screams can exist as dimensions of Reishi for because the very structure of their Reishi in these pocket dimensions are different from that of normal Reishi.
- Many forget but in “Turn Back the Pendulum” We learned that Lisa Yadomaru(the Vizard girl w/glasses) used to read books to Nanao as a child
- “Wahrwelt” here means “True World” or “True World Castle”
- Some fans forget that shinigami don’t fly, they travel on air using reishi footholds, with Yhwach having command over the reishi in Wahrwelt our side won't be able to do it for these upcoming battles.
- Renji’s poem is taken from Vol.73 of the manga, It has fans excited because it seems that Renji will get some additional content (This is likely something Kubo had wanted to do given that Renji was the Cover for the Volume)
- Sidenote: This is likely that last “downtime” or “setup” heavy Episode for this season, from here on it’ll mostly be covering major fights.
- Sidenote 2:Captain Ukitake having exceedingly more spiritual than most is a new line and will be important to remember.

Actually the Ukitake line is not new... Nanao says it, but slightly differently.... something along the lines of "Captain Ukitake had to use a portion of his spirit pressure to keep his body strong, and because of that, no other captain came close to the spirit pressure he possessed.... Also to note, that in the manga Ukitake was literally killed off once Yhwach absorbed mimihagi, but the anime strangely still has Ukitake in that limbo bound status.... Im wondering why? Maybe he still has some control over mimihagi inside of Yhwach...and might be able to help in some way? So far this Cour has been slightly altered in the chain of events happening.

Valley of Screams being canon just sets up a whole new mystery to the Bleach lore. The Soul King's influence grew to encompass every dimensional fabric with the exception of one, including Garganta, rather than just the 3 main worlds. Why are some souls denied reincarnation? What is the function of these rogue dimensions? How do they factor into the balance of souls? The structure of the Reishi is stated to be different from the main dimensions, but different how and why?
Another thing: if Valley of Screams are created by souls, could this also mean that the other dimensions were made with souls? Would the Soul King have intended this? That could explain why an inbalance of souls would destabilize the physical structure of the worlds.
This episode references the Valley of Screams which was in the 1st Bleach movie and confirms it as canon when Ichigo said, “I’ve been to the Valley of Screams before.”

@@StruckByBelz Memories of Nobody is generally considered the best out of the 4 movies released. Others are DiamondDust Rebellion (Hitsugaya focused), Fade to Black (Rukia focused), and Hell Verse (Ichigo focused). Fade to Black is also very good, but Hell Verse is probably the worst one.
@erict1628 na hell verse was way better than dd rebellion. It's the best animated one, story wise was not the best but the fights and hype moments were the best from amongst the 4 movies

I love episodes like this that just show off how amazing kubos characters are throughout the series all the different character interactions are so cool!
It's actually one of the best part of Bleach aside from the battles. The banter, the slice of life, it's really great to see those moments even though Bleach is a battle shonen series.
That should be the last of the buildup/regrouping episodes! They were a nice little break but I’m definitely ready to see these fights I’ve waited years to see animated🔥🔥🔥

And with Soul King Adonaeus gone (who is associated with the sun) the once bright blue sky is now just pitch black, which means the environment is literally glowing with spirit particles (Reishi) looks like we’re in the Endgame now, and with the same color same scheme as avengers no less.
Now more importantly, ‘The Valley of Screams’ that Yoruichi and especially Ichigo had mentioned having been to before is a profound callback to the 1st Bleach Movie: Memories of Nobody.
It takes place after Ichigo first gained his Hollowfication mask and during the 2 months of training with the Vizards just before Orihime was abducted. I implore anyone that’s not familiar with that to go & watch it on their own time, and as for the reactors try to watch it either this following week or at least after cour 3 wraps up, arguably the best movie (besides Hellverse) as easily the most emotional one. 💯
On a more lighthearted note, great to see Nelliel back in all amazonian inspired glory, her showing up with her chest hitting and knocking down Grimmjow was surprisingly hilarious as in the manga it seemed like he completely dodged her when she threw herself, this canonically makes more sense as Kubo confirmed she has the biggest rack/assets/melons/cushions in the whole series besides Kirio Hikifune (The Grain & Squad 0 member)
Another thing to note is that Orihime got flustered because Kisuke is also the one that gave her booba window outfit and she only agreed to impress Ichigo, but now with Nelliel’s outfit also thanks to him no wonder Orihime got jealous with that competition. 😂👌
I've come with 1 theory. since our 'Number 2' got befriend with 'Chicken', I'm guessing prolly he'll gonna fight with 'The 1st Son'. before or after we'll see 🧐

I like that this is the last setup episode, all the episodes after this one, is just straight hands, fight after fight, with all the new content kubo is putting in, even us manga readers cannot FORESEE what is to come
Yeah I saw people online say the show fell off but this is rising tension. People forget how stories are done cause seasons are in parts. Also why did jabber wanna fight Ichigo if Ichigo beat Aizen and he fears Aizen. Heck the reapers should crown Ichigo king.

Thats the outfit Soi Fon always wears. It just looks different because the original anime had to censor it. The TYBW doesn't have to worry about that so they use her actual look now

Since someone already explained why Soi Fon outfit change, I would like to add on top of that as to why she wears an outfit like that. Incase you don't remember the 2 fighting in Society arc, she one of the transformed, a piece of her clothing gets ripped off. That's why she leaves them open on purpose so that she doesn't have to deal with stuff like that everytime, lol XD

Soi Fon has always had that outfit, it's mainly due to her using shunko which rips the back and sleeves off the person using it so she wears as little as possible to avoid having her clothes be constantly ripped up. Yoruichi does the same, however both of their outfits were censored in the original series.
Yoruichi does wear form fitting pants though, whereas Soi Fon has the shinigami shihakusho which has loose legs so chooses to let everyone see parts of her underwear by cutting those parts out because she doesn't give any f*cks about it, I guess.

You guys should do a reaction to Bleach movie 1: memories of nobody (canon movie). Valley of screams is the main location the movie is set in, that's why this is the first time you're hearing about it in the anime. Also you should react to movie 4 hell verse, although hell verse isn't canon, you guys will definitely enjoy it, they're the best 2 bleach movies
