This duel was the most hype thing in entire series. Yugioh really deserved more movies and crossovers.
Perhaps another crossover between Zexal/Arc-V/Vrains? Except Arc-V already was kind of a crossover.

Shoutout to all the english dub watchers that got to see jaden's glowy eyes and his new pal yubel.
Yugi and Jaiden not knowing what a synchro monster is hilarious. It’s so relatable to the beginning of a new series.
I also love that all protagonists got a chance to do great plays instead of one of them being a huge carry. I could go on and on some more but most of what I want to say has been said in these comments already.

Let’s give Yugi and Jaden some grace here since synchro summoning wasn’t until after their suppose times.
Jaden is MVP of this duel. Had it under control every time, destroyed Cyber End and Rainbow Neos, went into cool back and forth with Paradox at 7:24, left Flute so Yugi could add his Kuriboh to negate Battle Damage.
And it makes sense narratively because Jaden is after his show ended so he's at his prime. Both Yugi and Yusei got pulled to duel Paradox during their series.
I say all of them is the MVP, remember Neos Knight was to weak to attack both monster had Yusei not use Gardna to make those two into defense, Yugi have less to work but he does enough with the limited board he was given and managed to out Paradox Dragon and bring back Yusei Stardust, Yusei clutches for his team by using Stardust Dragon effect and cancel Malefic Truth Dragon effect.
I honestly thought Yusei was the MVP. With his Junk Gardna, Yusei tanked two strong attacks and allowed Jaden to destroy Cyber End and Rainbow Dragon. And it was his Reincarnation of Hope Spell card that allowed Yugi to add Dark Magician to his hand, which allowed Yugi to retrieve Stardust.
Jaden definitely pulled his weight though xD I’d say he was the second MVP below Yusei. His Kuriboh play came in clutch.
I'd say they were all the MVP. Yusei set up Yugis play and got the final victory, Jaden took out the two massive dragons and saved them all with Flute of Kuriboh, and Yugi gave them all a chance by retrieving Stardust and removing the power down effect of Paradox Dragon
but Jaden definitely came in the most clutch throughout the duel
Imagine if Yugi managed to bust out Obelisk or Ra though. "you may have future archetypes paradox, but I have ancient bullshit OP god cards"
id say jaden is the mvp for not knowing what synchro monster's are but still knowing stardust dragon returns on end phase. that's a bigger paradox than paradox himself

It'll never stop being funny how when they start, yami and jaden have an elaborate/less elaborate duel disk activation and yusei just... wiggles his hand a little.
Whenever its Jaden's turn and you just hear the rock guitar ost makes me so nostalgic

As much as I love this movie, I just wish the duel lasted longer. It just felt like this movie just went by so fast.

This duel will always be number 1 for me. The three best protagonists teaming up was legendary. The editing here, with the OG music from each series, just makes it 11/10.

I absolutely love this movie one of the main things I love about this movie is the introduction of the Malefic archetype I also love duel between Paradox, Atem , Jaden and Yusei everything about this movie is absolutely phenomenal remarkable incredible amazing and very very impressive.
I forgot how well done the trio is in this movie. Nobody flat carried, each still got to show off a nice amount.

Individually yusei ,Jaden, and Yugi are three talented skilled duelists but together they are the guardians of duel monsters
After watching 5Ds from start to finish, I realized that Paradox was one of the scientists from the future destroyed by the Mechlord Emperors. Meaning Paradox is an alternate timeline version of the one that died of old age in that bleak timeline.
You took that long to understand? Yusei even remembers him when aporia mentions it, the movie is in between season2 and season 3 of 5ds, so it's the first, and probably only one, that is canon

The gang would have gotten OTK'd on Turn 3 if Junk Warrior was summoned instead of Junk Gardna.

We've been getting new support for them over the years, why not have a spin off series where the main 3 go to Duel Links or something like that? I'd watch the heck out of that

I love this duel so much and for some reason a lot of duelist nowadays especially in "master duel" reminds me of paradox's playstyle of just OTK everything. I hate it, sure I lose a lot to them but whenever theres a chance that I can win against those mfs i always feel like this three protagonist right here beating the adversity lmfaoo. Its always fulfilling to beat meta decks
I feel the same, my decks are made to have fun rather than to win.
Thing is, though, Paradox didn't exactly have much of a chance of winning this duel. Especially since the protags had an absolutely loaded backrow during the penultimate turn.
Not to mention, Malefics aren't that overwhelmingly strong even with all their newer support. Sure they have monstrous beat sticks (4000+ ATK each), but it won't matter much against a well-crafted defense.

As an anime fan, I love this duel, in particular the way they make the teamwork feels equal. Everyone gets a time to shine and save the day.
As a player though, I kept getting needlessly frustrated 😅 You can't summon Stardust from the grave without properly summoning it first! You can't defuse Neos Knight and bring back the materials cause that was a revived Neos knight! And you can't revive Stardust after it used it's effect because it wouldn't be on Yusei's grave!
But... eh, who cares, anime rules, anime logic, it all still looks cool 😎

No, all three played well with each other. Jaden was able to summon Neos Knight using Yusei’s Junk Gardna, and they were able to unfuse thank to Yugi’s De-Fusion, which saved Dark Magician Girl. And it was Yusei’s Reincarnation of Hope that allowed Yugi to add Dark Magician and summon Dark Magician Girl that brought back Stardust Dragon to their side. And it was Jaden’s Flute of Summoning Kuriboh that added the fur ball to Yugi’s hand and saved them from losing. And it was a combination of the three that defeated Paradox using both Neos and Dark Spiral Force on Stardust that won them the duel.
Kuribou will always be iconic!!❤

I remember being so confused watching this because Jaiden had yubel as a partner like that. I never saw the final season lol didn't even know there was another season after the dubb lol once I saw this movie I googled what happened and then saw the actual final season lol
