Lady cutting my hair wasn't paying attention and talking to girl in the chair next to mine...she cut 5 inches off when it was already a nice length bob without me really noticing (I'm blind without my glasses)...i had to get a really short pixie cut that looked like a 2 years old did my hair 😔
I've had two separate family members butcher my hair - both would do whatever they wanted to my hair. I've gotten home to find random long pieces. Crooked nape. 🙄 The list is endless. I don't talk to either of them now for many reasons and have trust issues with hair stylists.
Our mom always cut our hair growing up and as a kid I didn’t see a single thing wrong with it lol I thought everyone’s moms cut their hair, and you always think your mom is good at everything lol
My mom and aunt took me to high rated salons and even they feeder up my hair. Even one that claimed he specialized in natural hair & balayage. I left with ruined curls and weird highlights. Not what I wanted at all
I had a friend in high school that went through the local cosmetology school. When she got a job at a salon I went to support her. I never went back. I have very fine slightly wavy hair. She razor cut it. I looked like a poodle that had stuck their paw in a light socket.
You should ESPECIALLY react to so called professionals because they are supposed to know what they're doing. Also, you see why so many of us learned to so our own hair. 🤷🏼♀️🤗
I've been living in my little country town for about 10 years and I've been cutting my own hair for the last 3 because I've never gotten a good hair cut here 🙁
I think its very important to show both sides of the hair cutting spectrum. But quite frankly, you're being very brave by putting yourself as a professional out there and prioritising reality above everything else. Very appreciated!! Thank you HairBuddha
Ugh... from a professional hairdresser of 20 yrs i apologize if you've gone to a salon and gotten a bad haircut/color. This stuff gets me so upset that there are hairdresser that done care and don't put pride in what they do. 😠
Leaving a salon with a bad experience is something I can identify with. I know sometimes it's part the client's fault for not communicating what they want, but other times it is what it is, a less than professional hair cut. I really enjoyed this video, would love to see more critiques like this. And I thought you were fair and kind in your assessment.
I've had a really bad experience too, I had lovely hair all the way down my back, I went into the hair dressers and said that I wanted a trim with a few layers but they hacked off most of it and I was left with just below shoulder length hair, they didn't listen to what I said nor did they care, my suggestion is to find a good mobile hair dresser, mine comes to me and I get to have my hair cut in the comfort of my own home and she's very attentive and always asks me questions throughout to make sure she's doing what I want, once the hair is cut off it can't be put back so it had to be what we want 🥰
I always communicated what i wanted but because i only had a salon where old ladies worked i got the exact same short hair sprayed curly pixie cut every time. I wanted a short pixie but they would always blow dry, curl and hair spray it up so i looked like a 70 year old woman. Got tired of no one listening and just grew my hair out. Now i only get trims once a year to remove the split ends. Though i’m thinking of getting layers this next time and thinning out my thick hair.
Yeah I feel like hairdressers should regularly check in with their client and make sure they like what they're doing. I know some hairdressers have a big ego and feel like the client will like whatever they do because 'they're the professional' but you really can't just do whatever and expect everyone to like it every single time.
@@47ratsinahoodie I walked out with wet hair once when l was telling the guy how l wanted it cut and he said snottily, "*I* am the stylist, so *l* have the say." I stood up, took off the cape, and said "Not on my dollar, you don't." And walked out with dripping wet hair. Dodged a bullet on that one.
Exactly. And she essentially cut his hair FOUR times! As if she really didn't know what she was doing. It was too much, and her technique was sloppy and not precise. Ugh just awful.
I can identify with the first girl. In the early 70s I was wearing an Afro and it needed to be trimmed. I called a salon in my area (I had just relocated because of my husband’s job) to see if they could trim and shape my hair. I specifically told them that I had an Afro that needed to be trimmed and asked if they could do it. I was told that they had someone who could do it. I arrived for my appointment and was led to the shampoo station. After the shampoo I was led to her station. She tried to pull my hair with her hands to try to cut it wet. What a disaster! I didn’t say anything. I was young and didn’t know what to say. After the haircut she proceeded to try to blow dry my hair. Another disaster. She obviously didn’t know how to do African American hair. Anyway when she was done I looked like Mary Tyler Moore with that hairstyle and my hair was still wet at the roots. I paid (I shouldn’t have) and left. I should have complained and walked out. I learned a valuable lesson that day - only go to salons for African Americans. I found a wonderful stylist who I still go to today, for over 30 years.
In college my hair was extremely wavy and fuzzy. My roommate, who was black, took me to her stylist and it was the first time I ever had a decent haircut. They actually understood that my hair wet was not the same as my hair dry!
I‘m european but my kids are jamaican and I thankfully learned the lesson when they were very young. I never brought them to an european hairstylist again.
Oh that poor boy. Her technique was hysterical and tragic at the same time. Even while I was laughing I was aware that there was a young man having his lovely hair destroyed. Maybe it’s his grandmother cutting his hair and he can’t insult her by leaving.
Here I am wondering if I should finally book an appointement with a salon after 3 years and you drop this. I think I'm fine waiting. I only wear my hair in an updo anways, I can wait! :D
@@hair-buddha I might actually have to drive to another state. Our hairdressers are mostly good, I got a few nice cuts in the past. However, I have wavy hair, going grey plus I want chrome/silver balayage. The next big city is probably my best bet, I'll look for reviews. Thank you, I love your videos!
Ask around your friends where they go.... best review will be your friends, they have seen it all I'm sure, l found my new girl through a friend, she is an excellent stylist. She also cuts my three boys hairs.
@@ReneGrays I'm not in America, but l have family in America that go together and drive 5 hours to get theirs done in the next city over. I think it crazy, but maybe it's really a THAT hard to get a good stylist.
I walked into a simple family salon in my area and it was not busy so I asked for a cut. the door said walk ins welcome. Well I guess the girl didn't want to do a cut as she refused to even use a brush and she gave me a wolf mane over directed mullet on purpose to be vindictive. It was awful and I knew when she put my hair in a pony at the back and started cutting what was happening. It was like a train wreck though I couldn't even stop her. She then was rude when all she got was a 3 dollar tip. And I still paid I was so shocked I literally couldn't say anything. BTW I'm a licensed cosmetologist in my state but I was too lazy to just trim my hair and just wanted a small trim. I will never make that mistake again.
Why the hell did you give her any tip? You did not get the service that she originally charged you for. And then you paid more? I realize your license then you know that tips make up a big deal of the wages, but this woman didn’t deserve the regular price if she didn’t do what you told her to.
Hair Buddha’s kind soul is amazing and it makes his reactions so authentic and funny lol!! The way he got excited when the 2nd lady started clipping up his hair onto sections lol 😂😂😂😂 he really wanted her to turn it around lol
How the heck is everyone sleeping on this channel? It's crazy you don't have at least a million followers. But at the same time it feels more personal and intimate. But still we needa spread the word on this channel. Don't get me wrong I like Brad he is great but I like this channel more.
@@hopefulhuman Yes hair buddha goes more into depth about why things work and why they dont also what the colour would turn out like. You get a feel that hair buddha really knows what he is talking about. Brad mondo doesnt do this.
"I didn't sign up for this." -First Girl Actually, that's EXACTLY what she signed up for. She intentionally went to the worst salon she could find, as a challenge. She made up the challenge then signed up to do it herself. So she deserved what she got... Hell's bells, she basically asked for it.🤷🏼♀️ 💡Next time challenge yourself to go to a HIGHLY rated salon.
At least go to a salon AFTER you see some of their work. If you see someone who got their hair cut or dyed or whatever and it's well done, then give it a try. But the guy being rude to someone who's going to pay him money is a huge, huge red flag.
The bit that I found particularly difficult in the second clip is the flashbacks of decent local hairdressers who have never been trained in ethnic hair. As a person of Asian heritage, if a hairdresser pulled out those thinning scissors during an appointment, I'd bolt! Yes, Asian hair is (typically) gorgeous, thick, coarse and there's lots of it. Please treat it with respect!
Hey, I've lived in Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Korea, India and China. "Asian" hair comes in various textures and yes sometimes they need thinning shears. I have fine, straight hair and got (mostly) amazing bob cuts in Asia. However in South India I got a few very bad cuts until I went to a hair dresser from Assam. South Indians mostly have amazing, thick curly or wavy hair. The locals didn't have a clue about my hair.
ok, this is why I've done my hair by myself for the last 20 years... 😅 seriously, those people need to rethink their career... Hair Buddha's reviews are always too kind ❤️
You were so kind to these hair dressers. I think it’s really important when you’re in a service industry that involves looks, that you don’t harshly criticize your colleagues. I’m a dog groomer and I do my absolute best to be encouraging and kind to the others around me because you never know when someone could teach you something, and I think that’s exactly what you did in this video! You’re such a genuinely nice person Hair Buddha! 💜
If you're a shit hairdresser, or dog groomer in your case, then the only thing they can teach is how NOT to cut. They deserve harsh criticism because getting a bad haircut can be very damaging. I know its just hair, but I was a teen when a "hairdresser" butchered my hair so badly that u looked like a guy afterwards and got bullied relentlessly for it. So no, don't be kind to these asshiles. They are doing it on purpose because they don't give a fuck.
It's so nice to see a professional telling it like it is, without being rude or disrespectful to anyone. It's quality content. And I'll never do my hair myself again. And Mr. Hair Budda you have also been uplifting at least for me. I'm starting to feel pretty even though I have big self harm scars and huge teeth problems cuz of an ED. I'm doing so much better and you u reinforce that physical beauty doesn't have anything to do with the quality of a person. Like with hair....yes it can be messed up but that doesn't make you ugly, even if u have to shave your head. Maybe beauty does come within its not just physical. Thank you. 😊 (I'm not saying it's not important to take care of your self I'm just seeing that maybe the inside is the most important part of a person. Maybe that's where I'll find happiness, within myself. Or maybe I'm 🤪 crazy lol) just know ur content is great.
beauty has a lot to do with heart energy shining through one's eyes and smile .. you know how some people might look a bit ordinary and you interact with them and see the life force uniquely shining in their own way and they become beautiful ... you seem to be one of those people that have a beautiful heart and kind manner.
Both “haircuts” are simply atrocious! More so the second one. Her shears need to be sharpened or she needs to invest in a new pair. She straight butchered that poor man’s hair using clippers. There was no sectioning so she would have a guide line to go by. A spray bottle and comb is what she should have used instead of a blow dryer and round brush. What stylist uses a round brush on a man’s hair! She completely ignored the layering in his hair. She completely ignored elevation and angles. So many no no’s!!! Did she forget her training or just not care?
Omg that poor man. I anxiety over this. He was so calm and patient. He's beautiful hair. Ahhhhhh. Thank you so much for sharing these video's with us. Lotsa love and hugs to you. 💙🌸🌸🥰
I’d love to see more about poor quality salons! I’ve had my fair share of heartbreak at the hair salon! In fact I do my own hair, because I know I’ll treat my own hair better 😬🤣 so I appreciated this! It’s awful going into a salon and coming out with worse hair than you went in with!
I remember going into a mall salon back in the early 2000’s, I was around 7 and all I wanted was a straight across bob above my shoulders. Even at 7 I noticed it was uneven and asked them to fix it, so they “did”. It was still uneven lmao. I think that spawned a lifelong distrust of hairdressers and I’ve been doing my own hair for 15 years now lol
Know whats worse than a bad hair salon? A bad hair salon that charges an insane amount of money to mess up your hair. Been there, done that. I went to a cheaper salon the day after and they actually told me the expensive salon ruined my hair.
I always have clean hair but I'm never asked if I want a wash, she just does it! But it's also my favorite part of the cut so no matter how clean it is, I still want that relaxing hair wash!
You're so professional and so respectful towards everybody, it's such a rare thing to see nowadays. Congrats for the channel and I can't wait to see more videos! ❤
"How artistic" 🤔 i fluffing love you and your unshakable optimism!!! Thank you for trying to be polite and optimistic with every review you do no matter if they are professional stylists or people at home
Omg, this was really rough, and I feel so bad for the ones who had to live with these haircuts, but at the same time…..I have all but rolled in the floor laughing at the commentary from Hair Buddha and his many facial expressions. Definitely an entertaining video. I come from a long line of cosmetologists and barbers, and both sides of my family, I even went to cosmetology school, but the first haircut I ever performed, before going to school for it, was when I was about 13-14, and it was awesome and hella better than either of these!!!
Wow I have never seen a pro use regular aluminum foil for high lights. I really love watching hair cut videos where the the hair pro uses very precise cuts with extreme sharp scissors. The haircuts are always super edgy and funky but the care the perfection of the art is so amazing to watch.
My salon uses literal Reynold's Wrap. We buy it from our professional beauty supply. It's cheaper than the pretty aesthetic foils but they do the same thing.
“😮 sections!”❤ your channel I love that you give an honest and very well trained view into our world as hairdressers. There’s a lot more to it than most people realize. Thank you!
I would never take the challenge to go to a worst rated hair salon. I only look for best rated in the area. I once had a hairdresser butcher my hair, completely uneven. Then tried to fix it myself at home afterwards, which made it even worse. Then I went to another hairstylist and he was so amazing that he was able to make the bad haircut look wearable. I’ve only ever gone to him since then.
Super disappointed with how that fella had his hair cut off in chunks. He has a gorgeous head of hair and the lengths would have been great for donation to Locks of Love or another organization.
@@littleloner1159 wigs for kids is able to do it without throwing away donations OR charging already challenged populations. That's just the first organization that came to mind, there's more that aren't underhanded enough to profit.
Dude, I have been watching this channel for a good 16 hours... I couldn't sleep last night so I just kept watching you and dozing off here and there. I love your channel. I have done most of these things the young people are doing now. At 57 I have learned to not do chemicals at home. BUT that being said. I get it...when you are younger you might not have that much money and your priorities are different. ANYWAY....I love your channel. Hugs and Kisses from Atlanta GA.
The same thing happened to me at the mall. The hairstylist was doing the same weird techniques as the lady in the vid.... looked just like her too. I lost half of my hair from the thinning shears which I didn't ask for. Not only that, she chopped it all off. A male customer was walking in, saw what she did to my hair (his expression said it all), and walked right out. I didn't even have a hat to cover it. I tried to rush out of the mall as fast as I could with my head down... lol.
I think you handled that really professionally and was really interesting to hear your perspective, always useful and informative. Do you think you could ever do a beard video? My husband asks me to cut his & would love to hear/see your tips and advice
My mom was a hairdresser and she was so good at it. When she passed away when I was 17, I realized that I had to find someone to cut my hair. There are way too many bad hairdressers out there, especially with the cheaper/affordable salons. I've had cuts that they couldn't cut my hair straight and they even missed some layers of my hair. I haven't had my hair cut in a salon in like 3 years because the last time was just awful.
Lord Farquad!! LOL!! I've only had 2 hairdressers my entire 56 years. I also cut my own hair the last 15 years or so. It went super curly when I went through menopause, so when I added layers, I had more curls. Always sectioned my hair. I have at least watched my hairdressers technique when cutting. Oh my word!! I just love watching your videos!! So happy I have my dreadlocks now! I remember when my dad used to help my mum do the cap and crochet hook frost and tip kits back in the 70's and early 80's! I do love my hair!!
This is giving me anxiety 😵💫 I'm so glad this didn't happen to me. Having said that, I just came from a salon and my new haircut is nothing like the 20 pictures I showed the hairdresser...
Thank you for doing these videos!! I love them!! My mom was a cosmetology teacher. She past away a few years ago, but if she was still here, she would have loved your videos!! When her students weren't listening to her, she would face the wall and say in a loud voice, " Hello Wall" The kids got a big kick out of it. If you are ever in Iowa, I would love for you to do my hair. It would be an honor!
Entertaining as usual Hair Buddha. I enjoy your videos as they always make me smile, when you laugh it always makes me laugh. Considering i’m depressed 90% of the time that’s a huge thing to get me even to smile. Thank you for cheering me up. Sending love from Shropshire in the UK. xxx
I really enjoy your channel!!! You’re so kind and generous to the hairdressers in this video!!! Good point on continuously keeping up or expanding one’s skills!!! That’s important in every profession!!! Peace and love to you!!
I’m trying to understand: what exactly is it that you expect to happen by going to the worst rated salon? You walk in n the stylist is asleep?? No ma’am.
I hardly have any hair, however, your channel popped up and I have been bingeing for 2 days 😁, you have a great vibe, really enjoying these, laughing and actually learned a few things😁🌸🌺✌️
This was very interesting to watch! 💗 I believe it’s very valuable to do reactions to videos like this. It is very important, no matter what service you are getting, to make sure you ALWAYS look at ratings, reviews, credentials, & so on. It doesn’t matter if you are getting your nails & hair or finding a new doctor - please do your research or you will regrettably deal with people that aren’t very good at their profession. Yes, the minority will recognize their shortfalls, take a step back & improve by getting further education, training, etc., but many will continue doing their jobs poorly. People that are equally educated, will not all possess the same skill & level of expertise at their jobs. 💞
I remember going to a little salon in a small town i grew up in. I asked for my hair to be at my shoulders. I got a bob. 🤦♀️ I even pointed where I wanted my hair. They cut it to the bottom of my ears.
@@hair-buddha ya. My hair cut was like a triangle, because I have thick wavy hair. So that was fun. I have a few hair horror stories. 😹 Mom gave us girls side burns and lopsided bangs growing up too. Now i have issues with trusting anyone touching my hair.
I'm starting to think that when I'd go to the hairdresser and say one length and they cut it much shorter that they were probably cutting more to hide their mistakes 😂 Thank goodness I eventually started going to T&G and a regular hairdresser !
We need you to expose bad hair dressers as it reflects to ALL hair dressers, so to you as well. See it as protecting your profession and the hair dressers who are really passionate about what they do and good in what they do. Besides, everyone should be happy with good criticism; you can learn from it and do better. So please do!
OK, when I mess up my own hair because of my own stupidity, I am pretty like hair grows back. But the one time this hairdresser messed up my hair, I really wanted to cry....
This is why I still cut my own hair. I quit doing hair back in the late 1980s in the shop. But I still did cut, some color & perms at home. Hey we still had big hair back then 😂. But I had to quit I couldn’t stand on my feet all day anymore & had to wear orthotics in my shoes. Later diagnosed with Fibromyalgia & back pain from a wreck. I finally stepped into a salon after I move from my hometown. Told the girl just wanted it to “brush the top of my shoulders”. Here’s what happened: 1st) combing my hair RIPS out my earring😢 watching as it flies across the floor, never said she was sorry 2) uses a flat iron to straighten my straight hair then cut 😊3) when finished my hair came to the bottom of my ears…it was supposed to brush my SHOULDERS!!! This is why it will take me a hour to cut my own hair on disability from back surgery & Fibromyalgia. NEVER AGAIN IN A SALON. By the time I finished with them & her on FB I made sure ppl knew what they were getting in to!!! I do miss doing hair but not the idiots. 😂 ✌🏻 PS: I HATE dry cuts!! Oh, and that’s how she cut mine. God, I’ve been so traumatized by it 12 yrs ago I blocked it out. Now that’s bad. Hope I don’t have nightmares tonight from thinking about it 💇🏻♀️😵💫 😳
Yeah this was so bad i had to stop watching. It triggered me. Ive had plenty of "experiences" with salons smh. Its why i will not go to one. The worst horror story i have was when I was about 7 or 8. I wanted a perm, and the girl who did my hair was horrid. She burned my scalp at the nape of my neck so badly i was crying that my head was on fire. I swear she gave me a 3rd degree burn, i was pulling out dead chunks of skin (like what happens when you get burned) for literally MONTHS. I have a tik now where i constantly pick at my scalp there :(. Other times i went infor a cut and i said i wanted a certain cut, I'm a pencil drawing artist so i had drawings of kind of what I wanted, or just wanting a simple trim and always, always, always ended up with a damn bob 😤. I dont like confrontations so i shutdown when i dont like something and just sit there. So yeah me and salons aren't good friends. Not saying there isn't good ones, there are but even they don't always listen to the client 🤷♀️
My favorites are the ones that only know one cut-the one they have. That's happened a couple times & was NOT what I asked for. Heck, the second time I had a photo.
She ruined that guys gorgeous hair! I started cutting my own hair when I was 12 . I had more natural talent then than this woman (who is supposed to be trained to cut hair) ever will. The one good thing about all this is it will eventually grow... 🤦♀️

We need more videos critiquing "professionals"!! Hence why I have trust issues now with salons...
Here I am wondering if I should finally book an appointement with a salon after 3 years and you drop this. I think I'm fine waiting. I only wear my hair in an updo anways, I can wait! :D
The best thing to do is to look online for a salon with good reviews
@@hair-buddha I might actually have to drive to another state. Our hairdressers are mostly good, I got a few nice cuts in the past. However, I have wavy hair, going grey plus I want chrome/silver balayage. The next big city is probably my best bet, I'll look for reviews. Thank you, I love your videos!
Just don't go to the worst rated salon. She should have known.
I will never make that mistake again.
oh no 🙈
Why the hell did you give her any tip? You did not get the service that she originally charged you for. And then you paid more? I realize your license then you know that tips make up a big deal of the wages, but this woman didn’t deserve the regular price if she didn’t do what you told her to.
What is done to that man's beautiful hair should be a criminal offense. 🤬
Hopefully the guy is getting into character to play lord farquad this theatre season
😂
Lolol
Hair Buddha’s kind soul is amazing and it makes his reactions so authentic and funny lol!! The way he got excited when the 2nd lady started clipping up his hair onto sections lol 😂😂😂😂 he really wanted her to turn it around lol
How the heck is everyone sleeping on this channel? It's crazy you don't have at least a million followers. But at the same time it feels more personal and intimate. But still we needa spread the word on this channel. Don't get me wrong I like Brad he is great but I like this channel more.
Wow thx
Yes! Hair Buddha is definitely better!
@@hopefulhuman Yes hair buddha goes more into depth about why things work and why they dont also what the colour would turn out like. You get a feel that hair buddha really knows what he is talking about. Brad mondo doesnt do this.
I'm happy to see I'm not the only one who likes HairBuddha more 😃
I like him better too.
I am TRAUMATIZED for that poor boy!! I need a follow up!
"I didn't sign up for this." -First Girl
Actually, that's EXACTLY what she signed up for. She intentionally went to the worst salon she could find, as a challenge. She made up the challenge then signed up to do it herself. So she deserved what she got... Hell's bells, she basically asked for it.🤷🏼♀️
💡Next time challenge yourself to go to a HIGHLY rated salon.
Exactly what I was thinking.
….does she understand the meaning of the words coming out of her mouth?
@@mena94x3 She must not.
@@IAmSuzyQ 😂😂
You're right lol
The thinning shears are amazing if you know how to use them
Hey, I've lived in Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Korea, India and China.
Check out Kenneth Siu. His salon is in Australia. He is Chinese. Cuts amazing styles on TH-cam.
I have curly hair, and the rare Caucasian textured, tight curls type. I hear you on that one. I made the mistake so many times.
Watching that woman cut that man's hair with clippers and garbage scissors made my head hurt.
ok, this is why I've done my hair by myself for the last 20 years... 😅
seriously, those people need to rethink their career...
@@wintermoon7003 strongly agree. If a person takes money for their service, and doesn't care if it's good or bad, than they deserve criticism.
I'm a trained hairdresser, and watching such a mess other 'collegues' do makes me want to scream and cry🙈😩
Or maybe I'm 🤪 crazy lol) just know ur content is great.
beauty has a lot to do with heart energy shining through one's eyes and smile .. you know how some people might look a bit ordinary and you interact with them and see the life force uniquely shining in their own way and they become beautiful ... you seem to be one of those people that have a beautiful heart and kind manner.
i really like how respectful your are in your reaction. keep doing more its very interesting. we always learn from your videos !
Ok thx
Both “haircuts” are simply atrocious! More so the second one. Her shears need to be sharpened or she needs to invest in a new pair. She straight butchered that poor man’s hair using clippers. There was no sectioning so she would have a guide line to go by. A spray bottle and comb is what she should have used instead of a blow dryer and round brush. What stylist uses a round brush on a man’s hair! She completely ignored the layering in his hair. She completely ignored elevation and angles. So many no no’s!!! Did she forget her training or just not care?
And add to the fact that brush was causing rough breakage and pulling; you could see the strands he was losing
I don't understand why she was blow drying it when she hadn't even washed it!
Nice to get a serotonin boost from you on this dark, dreary day. Thank you, Hair Buddha❣🌞✌🏼
exactly 💯🤌🏼😀
@@mariannetorkamani95 😊
15:57 omg your reaction was priceless lmao. I was feeling the exact same way. Please more videos like this one 🙏
I always have clean hair but I'm never asked if I want a wash, she just does it! But it's also my favorite part of the cut so no matter how clean it is, I still want that relaxing hair wash!
Oh yes, it is relaxing
You're so professional and so respectful towards everybody, it's such a rare thing to see nowadays. Congrats for the channel and I can't wait to see more videos! ❤
"How artistic" 🤔 i fluffing love you and your unshakable optimism!!! Thank you for trying to be polite and optimistic with every review you do no matter if they are professional stylists or people at home
That first dude was abusive and there is no freakin way he's a stylist. Monster!
Yes, that are the real artists
I have had foils with highlights but I think its because i also had low lights so it was more to avoid mixing but idk this was years ago
The second guy was giving, "All hail Lord Helmet" vibes. Poor poor dude. Good thing hair grows quickly 😥😥😥
Super disappointed with how that fella had his hair cut off in chunks. He has a gorgeous head of hair and the lengths would have been great for donation to Locks of Love or another organization.
Locks of love charges clients for the wigs and throws away a LOT of hair, they kinda suck tbh.
@@miadzag so they should make real hair wigs for free? Doubt they'd be able to keep the lights on just off of donation money

Wow! Love your positive and helpful critique. Sound advice and obvious skill and talent. Great that you are still respectful in the way you respond.
That was pure torture! That poor guy lost so much hair. I hope he knew what he was in for! 🙈 👀
I tried to rush out of the mall as fast as I could with my head down... lol.
It's looking really artistic. Hair buddha for, "RUN!!!!!!!!!".

This video gave me so much anxiety! I thought I was going to have a panic attack😢😢 I still might😮 why is he not freaking out????!!!
He was so patient!!
I'm a hairdresser for many years, and that last haircut killed me!!! OMG, what was she thinking.
Awww Hair Buddha “Maybe I am learning”. You’re just too kind 💛
It's how you say the word "Salon" for me. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
There is no way she can have a license. This guy's hair is beautiful. He looks American Indian. Thank God hair grows back.
I also hate it when people wake me up at work to do my job, rude.🙄 Can't a girl get paid to sleep?
Thank you for doing these videos!! I love them!! My mom was a cosmetology teacher. She past away a few years ago, but if she was still here, she would have loved your videos!! When her students weren't listening to her, she would face the wall and say in a loud voice, " Hello Wall" The kids got a big kick out of it.
If you are ever in Iowa, I would love for you to do my hair. It would be an honor!

Less than a minute in and I’m hitting the like button…. I love you, Buddha! Funny shit!!
I’m trying to understand: what exactly is it that you expect to happen by going to the worst rated salon? You walk in n the stylist is asleep?? No ma’am.

Love you Hair Buddha! So happy I stumbled across your channel! Keep up the great work!
This hair dresser's license should be taken away. He messed up up her hair bad.
Oh no 🙈
@@hair-buddha ya. My hair cut was like a triangle, because I have thick wavy hair. So that was fun. I have a few hair horror stories. 😹 Mom gave us girls side burns and lopsided bangs growing up too. Now i have issues with trusting anyone touching my hair.
I love this series, and encouraging criticism is always good I think it helps people to get better providing they are willing to listen.
I'm starting to think that when I'd go to the hairdresser and say one length and they cut it much shorter that they were probably cutting more to hide their mistakes 😂
Thank goodness I eventually started going to T&G and a regular hairdresser !
I now have extra appreciation for my hairdresser. Im always happy with how she does my hair.

I love your personality!!!! Im pumped to be starting my Hair Buddha journey!!!
It just goes to show you that experience , technique or any basic knowledge about cutting hair is needed in some places
PS: I HATE dry cuts!! Oh, and that’s how she cut mine. God, I’ve been so traumatized by it 12 yrs ago I blocked it out. Now that’s bad. Hope I don’t have nightmares tonight from thinking about it 💇🏻♀️😵💫 😳
Having been a cosmetologist for 3 decades, I'm 😳 that "professional" hairdressers would not only be this bad, but allow it to be filmed
Great video. Hope you do more. I believe we get what we pay for. Common sense and solid reviews are a must.
I'm feeling you..i need my hair cut and i don't want to go in a salon..my hair is to the top of my legs. I just haven't gone to a hair salon for ages.
My favorites are the ones that only know one cut-the one they have. That's happened a couple times & was NOT what I asked for. Heck, the second time I had a photo.
You don't have time to sleep because you are in demand. You are in demand because you know what you are doing and is good at it lol
She ruined that guys gorgeous hair!
I started cutting my own hair when I was 12 . I had more natural talent then than this woman (who is supposed to be trained to cut hair) ever will. The one good thing about all this is it will eventually grow... 🤦♀️
Im thankful for your videos. You put out such good information that helps us at home when we bleach or color our hair
