When you really think about it, we've seen just how effective the Ballistic fury of Whitty is against the Corruption in Inevitable Fate. BF had to use his Retry ability to even come close to beating Whitty, and he had to cheat by ambushing him rather than confronting him. As for Tabi, it makes sense that he can fight the Corruption on equal par with Whitty, but in the sense of game mechanics. At one point, he WAS Boyfriend. He had the abilities that which BF consists of, now, but its diluted because of his Ex-Boyfriend status, which makes it more difficult to inherently use that power. Nevertheless, a duo like these two is nightmare against the Corruption.
This honestly feels more in-character for Whitty. He isn't the type to get sad, mopey, or really just give up. He doesn't feel hopeless that the Corruption took Carol, he's PISSED, and he's gonna scream his frustration all out at the Corruption for having the NERVE to mess with the people he cares about.
@@BloonyFox Sensitive, yeah, but I didn't say he wasn't sensitive, I said he gets angry when he's under pressure, so this feels more appropriate. He doesn't just grind to a halt, he starts screaming his lines so intensely that the Corruption can't keep up with him.
Whitty in many cases would scream in frustration, but in this case it's not like that, Whitty is extremely sensitive, much more than one might imagine, and seeing his friends like that could cause him to have an emotional breakdown, I agree that Whitty when under pressure releases his anger but this is something that even Whitty cannot control
@@BloonyFox Honestly, I'm kinda just sick of seeing the Corruption stuff be a constant tragedy play too. It's become predictable in every case but yours. Modded characters encounter corrupted characters, they get corrupted, everybody cries, repeat ad nauseum for every single mod. This way it's actually interesting.
I know, honestly corruption becomes somewhat repetitive after a while, that's why I made this other ending, corruption is not invincible, I know, that's why (at least in my head) I consider this encounter canon and not the other one where at end whitty is corrupted

@@BloonyFox What do you mean? Doesn't Soul bf destroy the corruption with a guitar? If it isn't weak to guitar, then why does the guitar do so much damage in that week?
Boyfriend did not get rid of the corruption by the guitar, the guitar was only used to motivate him since he was very weak and was giving up, if the guitars were the weakness of the corruption people would have already noticed it and used them not to be corrupted, it just doesn't make sense what you say
