Rosie and his people may be demons born in Hell in order to evolve as a species that eats sinners, but that doesn't make them superior. Not all sinners are stupid, there are some. They may want to rape, kill or eat Rosie's people. If reproduction by birth is their raison d'être, they are an endangered species, sinners who cannot be hunted. Or play with them like Alastor and others. I also have a theory about why humans have souls and live an immortal, sterile afterlife. This is because Adam and Eve ate the tree of knowledge. If they had not eaten from this tree, man would be the type of person who would live for a long time without any other life, like the devils who are born in hell. 😊

The idea that starvation might have drove these sinners to cannibalism in order to survive. And once times got better, they were still performing cannibalism despite not needing it anymore.
Honestly, it seems like a mixture of the American Great Depression with the style, but the mass cannibalism that took place in Russia during the same time period under Stalin. People and families were literally selling human body parts on the market in the 1920s in Russia due to the famine being so bad.
That was a fire theory actually. I mean I think the clothing style is a little before the Great Depression, but tbh they probably weren’t concerned about fashion at all in that era so maybe that checks out?
@@AstralDragon2014rosie being russian to allude to this would be SOO cool even though they don’t want to tie in real world issues. an explanation for the style could be that, now with the excess granted by dying, theyre able to lean into the styles they yearned for

You can literally see small children of cannibals chilling in the background, and considering that sinners cant reproduce in hell they gotta be native species.
It's probably just another species from Hell, like others that also coexist in the Pride Ring together with the sinners. Rosy herself is known to be a hellborne.
Could they be children that died that were cannibals? Considering how Adam talks hardly any sin like murder is forgiveable. Like if they were kids from the Donner Party
This makes me feel that Alastor is more of a wendigo than just a deer based demon. The deer aesthetic along with the cannibal fall in line well with some of the iterations of the Wendigo
I believe Vivzi has acknowledged that and said it's accidental. His deer form comes from being killed in a deer field where he hid the bodies of his victims. It's an established fact that one of the influences on a Sinner's form is how they died.
pretty sure that they play wendigo sounds in the show when he's going Freaky Mode too - if you go back and listen to it you can hear these weird screeches and voices
Can I just say that I love Rosie even more now? I don't know why, but she has this something that just makes her one of my favourites. Maybe it's her style
The fact that sinners remanifest after being killed without angelic weapon, it makes me wonder. Could a sinner unalive themselves during the purge, and then remanifest safly after its over
Even if they couldn't (thought we see hangedmen during Charlie's first song) they could still just kill each other... So the question is, why don't they do it? Does remanifestation that fast that it's not worth it? Weird how it's only less than 24 hours if it's the case. Also I assume plenty of sinners are employees and get very slight benefit of protection from Vs or other overlords... But what happens if there are no sinners on the streets? Do angels just go in and start clearing out buildings? Would Overlords retaliate? Camilla sure did but I find it hard to believe it happened so late and not earlier
thats probably what they do. those not afraid of death already readily light themselves on fire to die before a possible fight between two overlords happens (as seen when zestial and alastor see each other again). So there must be demons out there who see the clock strike cero and kill themselves. the remanifesting seems to take a bit so realistically all the exterminations should be over by then
Only vintage drip though 😂 it's strange that they'd eat each other over clothing though unless I'm actually just stupid and didn't understand what the guy said in the video, how dare you not dress in gowns and tophats! lunchtime.😂 like im just
@@mar420.74 They eat ppl who don't wear vintage drip because it's likely, like a cult, they use clothing as signifier that "look, those guys are on our side, we are same clan n stuff". Besides, unless you were born in that Americana era, you most like wouldn't manifest with such specific clothing so it's easy to spot "fresh meat".
Interesting fact: Rosie is based on the character Dolly Levi from the musical Hello Dolly. If I ever get the chance, I want to ask Viv what was going on in her mind? How do we go from a musical about the antics of a matchmaker to an Overlord who rules over a population of cannibals in Hell?
no wonder she’s my favorite. that’s one of my favorite musicals lol. i was gonna say she also reminds me of mrs lovett from sweeney todd, but like an american edwardian version
@wingitlikewitches If my memory is correct, I believe Hello Dolly is one of Viv's favorite musicals as well. Along with Annie and Little Shop of Horrors. And now that you mention it, maybe Sweeny Todd was the inspiration for the idea of a population of cannibals in Hell. And maybe to give some distinction, Viv went with the time period of Hello Dolly.
I have one REALLY messed up way that Rosie could be using her power in, and anyone who's seen The Boys season 2 might know where I get this idea from. Imagine if sinners in this world, as they can respawn if killed by non-angelic means, would be known to SELL themselves to the cannibal colony when they're hard on cash. Or, worse yet, if they could make deals with Rosie for a quick loan, but as part of their deal, be BOUND to provide themselves to the colony for new meat, similar to how characters like Husk, Nifty, and Angel can all be forced to do things by THEIR respective overlords. Yes, basically what I'm suggesting here is that Rosie is a loan shark who, as payment for her services, forces you to return to the colony and be violently and painfully devoured, just for you to respawn a bit later and need to relive that experience again and again, hopefully until your contract is paid off, if you're lucky enough to have a finite contract at all.
My idea of what the emporium may be and how Rosie uses it for power: people sell their souls to Rosie to be put up for sale to be eaten. The cannibals come in and choose their meal and when they remanifest they are given an amount of time to do their business before having to go back in the market to repeat the cycle. Therefore a food source is constantly in cycle, the cannibals choose their freshest meal, and the sinners who are sacrificed use that small bit of power they traded their soul for to do what they feel needs to be done (ie the reason they traded their soul).
@@Umbrakinesis207 i think people forget that literally all evil is bullying . it just that the worst it gets the more likely it is to have a different name.

Well… kinda. The wendigo of Algonquian legend is more of a malevolent spirit that possesses people and turns them essentially into cannibalistic vampires. The whole mutant deer monster depiction is more of a modern motif, taken mostly from non-native sources.
Understood. I know the deer-like one isnt the original, its a more modern variation. Though do wish i could find more legit resources on the original mythos not mixed up with media depictions. @@geoffreyrichards6079
Alastor fitting in with the cannibal crowd also just makes sense. like given there's definitely wendigo elements in his design and looking into exactly what the wendigo folklore has to say.... it just adds up.
I think it makes sense for Cannibals to be the native hellborn demon species in the Pride ring. The first reason being the idea that sinners were sent there for eternal punishment, so it totally makes sense for there to be a natural "predator" in that area of hell to ensure that sinners are truly being punished. I can imagine the first humans damned to hell being met with the constant fear and suffering of being hunted and torn to shreds, getting eaten alive only to be regenerated and hunted down again and again for all eternity. That to me just screams classic hell and damnation, which very much could've been what Hell and the Pride Ring was like before norms and society evolved with the growth of Sinner population. My second reason is, thematically, the act of cannibalism does seem to fit the sin of Pride; cannibalism as the act of self-preservation over the well-being of others seems to fit the idea of egocentricity that Pride is associated with (at least as far as I can interpret haha). To consume is to take and to devour is to empower the self, and the self alone.
i got a headcanon where rosie is a great caretaker for kids so anyone of high status employs her to be a babysitter so princes other overlords and even lucy himself sometimes ask rosie to just help them out and she enjoys it
That is basically part of her main inspiration she is basically the Mary to Alastor’s Jack. It won’t be a stretch that there’s a nod to Marry Poppins of her being potentially knowing Charlie when she’s young or alternatively hums a classic disney-esq song close to a spoon full of sugar.
Welp, I got a new headcanon to adopt now. Thanks so much for this information 🙏 PS: You think they got special emojis in internet hell for the cannibals too? Like instead of just the classic cartoon heart (❤), they also got a literal heart organ emoji? I mean, I've seen it available in some phones, but TH-cam on PC doesn't seem to have it.
Remember yall, when sinners kll other sinners they'll just respawn unless it's an angel klln them, so yeah even if she's a cannibal I'd say she's a pretty chill sinner
Rosie and the canibals probably only kill people that are giving too much trouble or just ask for it(as they appear well later) so that way everyone is actually happy there
What if the sinners in the cannibal town have Rosie's same appereance due to a deal made with her, granting them that condition of belonging to her city and changeing them to have her same appereance. That could be the reason why they all look the same and why is rosie an overlord, owning all of the cannibal town's souls.
Same thoughts! Because wouldn't it be a waste of a business opportunity if the Cannibal Town was strictly comprised of native Hell species? Like, free fresh souls right there and Rosie's a businesswoman. So, might as well profit! Being an Overlord probably also gives Rosie and her territory/establishments/kind benefits, right?
I have a theory, that maybe Rosie was a human and was born to a cannibal family, like a big family which I mean you could consider a Clan, and those people are her siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandkids and or her ancestors.
@tokio6332 Rosie has been retconned to be a sinner instead of a hellborn. Personally I find her more interesting as a hellborn instead of a sinner. She was changed to be a sinner because Vizie decided all overlords are sinners now.
The fact that even being eaten doesn't prevent sinners from regenerating after a while DOES raise the question: What in the sweet heavens did Alastor do to those overlords when he did his broadcast?! Because they apparently didn't come back.
I'm pretty sure he made a deal with an angel. As husk said, alastor is also on a leash, and who else could let alastor do so much damage as soon as he arrived in hell?
@@roniyarose9470He wouldn't have been the first soul to get the opportunity to do that though. I think it has to do with his radio powers since radio was new to Hell. Maybe he combined radio with vodou in an inventive way that enabled him to take overlords out pretty cheaply. Like Sir Pentious, who may well have arrived in Hell with his inventing skills and even aspired to take down overlords the way Alastor did, but unlike him he has the ability to actually use his creations effectively. And the fact that Husk is on his leash means he actually had to outwit an overlord at their own game and not just brute-force magic his way to the top.
I feel like Valentino is the most evil Overlord than Rosie since he abuses Angel Dust and owns Angel's soul. But then again Rosie owns cannibal colony and it is pretty dangerous, still hopefully we'll know more about her character in future episodes.
@@AxolotlQueen I think they are both bad, but I agree Valentino is worse. At least when you get eaten, you regenerate. It's just slow and painful, but I think you can maybe escape like.. not getting caught and not getting eaten..? Idk how to explain it nor how it works but yeah. Valentino on the other hand, can literally own your soul if you signed a contract with him. Thats so much more brutal since you literally don't have your freedom (I mean they are in hell anyway but you get the point). But hey that's hell for ya, none is really worse than the other, since it's gonna be enteral suffering for everyone in the end.
I think this theory is very convincing (Good job) And i like to think that they were actually created (probably by the angels) specifically to torment sinners in the early decades of hell.
Theres nothing saying that the corpses of sinner demons don't demanifest if killed by whatever hijinx occur day to day. What if the cannibal colony is almost like a janitorial service which keeps the streets clean of what would likely be mounds of corpses. Imagine remanifesting and walking outside to see your corpse... The cannibal colony almost feels more like part of the natural ecosystem rather than some "greater evil"
0:52 In the actual episode 7, we overhear Rosie addressing another cannibal about wanting to eat her first husband which Rosie assures the cannibal that she would've done the same thing, that is if her husband didn't taste so bad. Maybe Franklin was her husband?
in regards to WHY the cannibal colony might be more early 1900s America in themes, its likely because of the Great Depression and World War 1 and 2. with food supplies low, money tight, and what SEEMS to be a rather keen interest on fashion, money for Rosie in specific mightve been focused on that- or, its from cult behavior. either way, i think its due to lack of money for meat, which for poorer people would've been a LOT of money for them(around $1 their time, which is about $33 now) and killing and eating people who wouldn't be missed would probably be the easiest way to get free food essentially.
Alastor introduces Rosie to Charlie as "the most darling, delightful, and dangerous overlord this side of the Pentagram". Rosie is very motherly. She plays love-advisor for Charlie.
Uh I love her and her pretty Design! Because she is implied to be hellborn, I would like to know how old she is...but I dont think she is evil, because its said she has a nice and sweet personality. I am exited so see more of her and her relationship with Alastor. Why does he like her so much?
I've somewhere heard of the idea, that Alistor and Rosie might have been an aro-ace couple on earth. It probably doesn't fit into the canon but I love the idea
If she is a hellborn species she may be a Wendigo, and Alastor's unique deer motif kinda plays into the more modern and less cool-looking deer version of the being quite nicely without bastardizing as his cervine visage has more to do with his death than his cannibalism. Also i hope with Kaite's VA being Bryce Tankthrust we may see Sleep Paralysis Demons that look like the ones from Brandon's universe, could be a cool reference!
Guys I’m still commenting about a video needing to be made on the disappearance of Lilith and Alastor both happening 7 years ago, and Zestial saying Alastor fell to holy arms. I need someone to look into it
Trust me I have an even better theory but I have to wait until episode 5 premieres to make the video, I promise I've seen all the theories, and I'm taking it one step cooler.
@@CartoonUniverse that’s so exciting, I can’t wait for the next episodes to come out and more theories of course. I absolutely love every theory you release
I don’t think the body seen being eaten from the cannibals was because they didn’t look like their from the 1900’s but rather was killed by an Angel and eaten as leftovers just as Alastor hints him wanting to eat the dead Angel head
Since demons can just respawn, why are they afraid of alastor and other overlords? Maybe those ones killed by the radio demon when he first appeared in hell, are probably still around. Sir Pentious seems like a brave fool who went up against alastor, many times even.
Well the question is, do they regenerate where they 'died' or do they have a spawn point like in Minecraft? If it's the first one, sinners like the Overlords who usually have at least some kind magical ability to their advantage can just spawn camp the sinners body and kill them over and over forever if they feel like it, or the sinner pissed them off. Then pissing off an Overlord is the worst possible thing you can do, as they can just torture you forever. (And i feel like Alastor just didn't care enough to finish Pentious off properly.)
Idk, I don't think Rosie is a hellborn, mainly because Franklin (who looks similar) was killed in the pilot. In episode 1 Lute also says to Charlie "The only reason your still here is because daddy gave you and your hellborn kind a pardon from an exorcist blade..." (18:27) so if Franklin and Rosie are the same type of species (if you'd call them that) then it means they're not hellborn but sinners
Could you do the theroy about 3 "elite overlords": Zestiel I think is the overlord of dark age because of his apperance and old british accent that could laid back to 16 hundreds. Time after Marthin Luthers "reformation". Zilla is shown to be on the top of the overlord pyramid simbolizyng that she might be the strongest or the oldest of them all which would make sense since she's dinosaur and therfore might be the oldest siner.
I think the printing press. The predecessor of radio as an information medium which made the reformation possible. The written word/print/newspaper demon.
They definitely are a breed of hellborn because they all look way too similar, and you see children running around. Yes, some sinners are similar sure but these cannibals all have the same black eyes and sharp teeth as rosie herself. Alastor and that one girl he waved to in the comic are cannibals but dont have that black eye esthetic. So clearly, there's a species of helborn dedicated to just eating sinners (and each other).
Rosie could be an overlord ruling an over a self destructive type of conservative ideology. Everyone has to smile and conform to an aesthetic and if they don’t they are violent ripped apart and eaten and there’s not warning so non locals regularly dine on those unfamiliar with the traditions…so foreigners with exceptions like Alistor who’s aesthetic and life style already matched their values.
I've speculated what sort of demon Rosie would be for a while, and I keep thinking she and hers are the descendants of angels that joined Lucifer, fallen angels, who bred with demons, making it a race of hybrids, which carried traits from their ancestors, which was more evident in the prologue comic. Now that doesn't look like it's the case anymore, too bad, which likely means they're either a legit demon species in their own right, or a type of sinner that takes conformity to a whole new level.
I do think that it's odd that there's so many cannibals even in hell. Like cannibalism isn't really too big of a thing on earth, and with the extermination going on for so long, cannibalistic sinners would die off as well. I think this makes more sense but I think the show probably just has them as sinners.
@@mackenziecoleman8103 it turns out there were cannibal children and they DO resemble lucif with their big mouths full of pointy teeth and generally humanoid structure. I think they might actually be the natives. But I believe Rosie herself is an actual sinner to have enough power to be an overlord.
honestly my biggest theory is just that cannibalism was weirdly common in the mid 18- early 1900’s. Eating mummies, skull medicine i think that there’s just so many of them and they cling to that older style fashion because that’s what was normal to them. I definitely don’t think they are hellborn because it’s hellborn are able to become overloards and make deals that would mean they have souls and being a hellborn means you do not have a soul. it’s still a cool theory
Of course Rosie is powerful. She's the overlord that a new soul would *want* to join. Its like joining a gang - you don't do it because you believe in a course, you do it because you need *protection*. Rosie's motherly presentation makes her seem like one who would actually take care of "her people". And that doesn't have to be true. Once someone owns you, that's it; first impressions and keeping any dissenters tight lipped is all you need.
What do you think of this theory: Zestial is Alastor's father figure/mentor and that's why Alastor managed to become so powerful or maybe Alastor being a voodoo prince
interesting thing to remember, only angelic weapons can kill sinners so you could theoretically cannibalize a single person forever In that light the cannibal district/colony people don't seem that crazy. Also after episode 7 rosie was shown to be a lot nicer than ever expected of a demon
After ep7 we can say that rosie is actually quite nice. Valentino is imo the most evil, he derives pleasure from forcing people to do things they are not comfortable with.
My head canon is that the reason so many people in hell are skinny is because there is a lack of food that no one talks about, and because paying for regular food supplies is so expensive and you can't starve to death, most demons chiose to just go without food in order to save money with even most of the over lords choosing to forgo food most of the time out of habbit, Zestial especially
I think that Alastor is the most evil. I mean, a psychopath with god-complex, that is a cannibal who watches chaos, death and sadness with the most brighter smile.
I say the three Vs have a god-complex. Like Carmella also referred to the Vs to velvet as "smug wannabes" Look how Val stood firmly and condescending after abusing angel in front of charlie as if she isn't one of the top 3 most powerful in hell.
I wonder how the angels can tell if a demon is a sinner or a natural resident considering some sinners can look close to the natural residents. I suppose it's likely they simply don't care if they accidently kill a native to hell.
Unless all native hellborn leave pride before extermination day since they can leave the ring and go to any of the other 6 for refuge. The sinners are the only ones left to fend for themselves when the angels swarm down
@@blacknonbinarydisabledlesbian That is a very good point. Although I'm sure there are a few left behind considering how many are messed up in the head and others are addicted to drug abuse. Those things kinda effect self preservation.
@@lionelwhiskerknot so true, kinda sad that some sinners like angel set on braking themselves might consider staying outside during extermination day to finally end their suffering since they're immortal otherwise. Also I was wondering... Did Viv ever confirm if charlie herself is technically a nephilim? Since her mother *was a human human and her father *was an Angel?
@@blacknonbinarydisabledlesbian I'm not sure. I don't think so. However, the first humans in Biblical lore were somewhat uber and some lived for hundreds of years. Methuselah died at age 969. Who knows what abilities Adam, Cain, and Lilith had before dying. I'm kind of curios where Cain is as wouldn't he be in hell? I would think he would be one of the most powerful sinners but maybe his father took him out or Abel a long time ago.
I'm willing to bet there's a population in hell that's either willing or eager to be eaten. I wonder what their value is compared to unwilling participants.
I'm more curious into how does Adam and the Exterminators are going to accomplish the goal of killing all demons here. And if it means destroying the entirety of Hell to achieve that goal, will they do it?
@@blacknonbinarydisabledlesbian She did? I am sorry but everything happened so fast because of the sudden arrival of the song. Plus, Adam said it himself that he intended on killing all demons in Hell.
@@lerneanlion I believe so. I think Adam was referring to the pride ring since it's the first and only ring they visit. And yea, right as charlie talks about the sinners being "her people" and Adam basically says "sucks for you" the angel beside him follows up with something along the lines of "the only reason you and your hellborn kind are spared and exorcists blade is Because your father gave you a royal pardon" and "see how little your lives matter" it's not exactly what she says but it's along those lines. Adam (to me) sounds like he just wants to kill all the sinners as a sport for the winners and to "avenge" the exorcist who was killed he assumes was by a sinner
6:40 Bruh... That very clearly wasn't a sinner attacking themselves cause they felt like it. They walked in on to overlords. It was clearly an escape with a suicide added, that way if he got caught he'd die soon anyway
I think that the whole cannibalism thing is basically a representation of consumerism. That would also explain why she has a nondescript emporium; it's simply about buying more stuff. Moreover, the fashion associated with Rosie could well be that that's what people would have been wearing during the industrial revolution. During this period of history, people began to have more money and free time, and thus, began buying more non-essential goods. It also works with Alastor's suspected time period on Earth.
I don't think Rosie or anyone in the Cannibal Colony are hellborn, my own theory is that everyone there looks the same because they are under contract with Rosie and that contract gives them an appearance similar to her
From what I remember sinners gain some of their traits in appearance based on how they died and/or what their sin was in their lifetime. Assuming they all were canibals it could explain why they ended up looking so simillar. Alastor also shares some of those traits and we know he used to be a cannibal
Faustisse never said Rosie was a native to hell, they had just said that she never died. Those are two entirely different statements with different implications. It's possible that the cannibals found another way to enter hell without dying. Probably by using rituals or deals of some sort.
Ever since season 1 of Helluva Boss, I've a theory that, under certain conditions, it's possible that human can start to change into a demon before dying. It's Martha & her family that sparked the theory. In all the episodes, we've not come across any other human that suddenly has sharp teeth and red eyes like that Murder Family did. At first I ignored this because "artistic license to show evil human". But then C.H.E.R.U.B.s came out and Lyle Lipton was evil, even experimenting on the poor (many would put that on same level as cannibalism). Going back and rewatching ep 1... it's more than teeth & eyes that change. Martha's earrings also change from blue triangles to skulls. Then there's ep1 of Hazbin Hotel. It shows Lilith, the first woman, was sent to Hell, not dying then going there. Also since Sinners can't reproduce, Lilith is not a Sinner. So yeah, I can accept this idea, there's other ways to enter Hell, than dying.
@@Katzztar There was a connection between the cannibal family from that episode and a demon character called Roo as well, but we don't know too much about Roo or the practices around them. It's also possible that the connection isn't canon any more after the whole Voodoo controversy since it was thought that Alastor had a connection to her as well.

Or children who died and went to hell
This dont make seans...
It's probably just another species from Hell, like others that also coexist in the Pride Ring together with the sinners. Rosy herself is known to be a hellborne.
Could they be children that died that were cannibals? Considering how Adam talks hardly any sin like murder is forgiveable. Like if they were kids from the Donner Party
hmm i didn’t think of that. maybe they’re the native species of pride? like succubi in lust & imps in wrath.

The fact that sinners remanifest after being killed without angelic weapon, it makes me wonder. Could a sinner unalive themselves during the purge, and then remanifest safly after its over
They could accidentally manifest somewhere where Exorcists are I'd guess.
@@polish_pigeonyep
thats probably what they do. those not afraid of death already readily light themselves on fire to die before a possible fight between two overlords happens (as seen when zestial and alastor see each other again). So there must be demons out there who see the clock strike cero and kill themselves. the remanifesting seems to take a bit so realistically all the exterminations should be over by then

Is interesent
no wonder she’s my favorite. that’s one of my favorite musicals lol. i was gonna say she also reminds me of mrs lovett from sweeney todd, but like an american edwardian version

"The Most Evil Overlord: Rosie of The Cannibal Colony!"
Rosie: Chill af
Yes, basically what I'm suggesting here is that Rosie is a loan shark who, as payment for her services, forces you to return to the colony and be violently and painfully devoured, just for you to respawn a bit later and need to relive that experience again and again, hopefully until your contract is paid off, if you're lucky enough to have a finite contract at all.
wait that actually works so well.

@@d.a.studiosgaming7783 personally I'd happily give mine to zestial
@@mdswitchy378that's not much of an improvement
My idea of what the emporium may be and how Rosie uses it for power: people sell their souls to Rosie to be put up for sale to be eaten. The cannibals come in and choose their meal and when they remanifest they are given an amount of time to do their business before having to go back in the market to repeat the cycle. Therefore a food source is constantly in cycle, the cannibals choose their freshest meal, and the sinners who are sacrificed use that small bit of power they traded their soul for to do what they feel needs to be done (ie the reason they traded their soul).

This aged about as well as milk that I forgot to put in the fridge.
Good idea, however I do think it has been confirmed that cannibals are sinners

Rosie and the canibals probably only kill people that are giving too much trouble or just ask for it(as they appear well later) so that way everyone is actually happy there
That’s what I was thinking. Turns out she’s the complete opposite of this theory lol
You mean because she's not a hellborn?
What if the sinners in the cannibal town have Rosie's same appereance due to a deal made with her, granting them that condition of belonging to her city and changeing them to have her same appereance. That could be the reason why they all look the same and why is rosie an overlord, owning all of the cannibal town's souls.
That makes sense... they probably all would agree for the easy access to food
This theory has been debunked as Rosie is actually hellborn
Allof the Cannibal demons including rosie, the blacked eyed ones are Hellborn

The fact that even being eaten doesn't prevent sinners from regenerating after a while DOES raise the question:
What in the sweet heavens did Alastor do to those overlords when he did his broadcast?!

In the actual episode 7, we overhear Rosie addressing another cannibal about wanting to eat her first husband which Rosie assures the cannibal that she would've done the same thing, that is if her husband didn't taste so bad.

I think Valentino is way more evil than Rosie, but then again, this is only because we have yet to see what she can do.

(And i feel like Alastor just didn't care enough to finish Pentious off properly.)
because even if they cant die they can still feel pain and suffering
Vaggie mentioned they'll end up "erased." Maybe that's actually death?
i think it's because an overlord can just grab their soul like taking a candy out of a child
I think I'd be more scared of pain than death.
I love Rosie. She is so cool and that smile is infectious. I love how she smiled at the little eggboi
Rosie is so adorable tho I imagine just small squeaking noises every time she makes an expression 🥺
Could you do the theroy about 3 "elite overlords": Zestiel I think is the overlord of dark age because of his apperance and old british accent that could laid back to 16 hundreds.

"People don't seem to know that Rosie is a cannibal" Like... maybe people who don't watch the show at all? It's VERY obvious
Turns out she’s one of the sweetest characters so far 😂
I was literally JUST doing some digging on Rosie before this came out, absolutely crazy coincidence istg
When they sit at the table during the overlord meeting you can see Rosie and alastor talking before Carmela comes out.
I do think that it's odd that there's so many cannibals even in hell. Like cannibalism isn't really too big of a thing on earth, and with the extermination going on for so long, cannibalistic sinners would die off as well. I think this makes more sense but I think the show probably just has them as sinners.

honestly my biggest theory is just that cannibalism was weirdly common in the mid 18- early 1900’s.

Rosie's motherly presentation makes her seem like one who would actually take care of "her people".

I think it could be interresting if she would be the overlord of the food industy, but I could see her be a tailor too
My head canon is that the reason so many people in hell are skinny is because there is a lack of food that no one talks about, and because paying for regular food supplies is so expensive and you can't starve to death, most demons chiose to just go without food in order to save money with even most of the over lords choosing to forgo food most of the time out of habbit, Zestial especially

0:01 *WHY DOES IT SYNC UP SO WELL*
I wonder how the angels can tell if a demon is a sinner or a natural resident considering some sinners can look close to the natural residents.
But didn't the angel beside Adam say to charlie that the hellborn are exempt from the annual extermination? It's only the sinners they slaughter?

I don't think Rosie or anyone in the Cannibal Colony are hellborn, my own theory is that everyone there looks the same because they are under contract with Rosie and that contract gives them an appearance similar to her
Is that why Angel Dust has 4 arms?

From what I remember sinners gain some of their traits in appearance based on how they died and/or what their sin was in their lifetime. Assuming they all were canibals it could explain why they ended up looking so simillar. Alastor also shares some of those traits and we know he used to be a cannibal
@@schwarzerritter5724 Angel has 6 arms, he just hides 1 pair most of the time. You can see them in ep 4 though.
Gotta love Rosie and her fashion sense! Looking forward to how she fits more into the story!
I suspect perhaps Cannibal Colony may have something to do with ALL those "mummy parties", hmm? Or those tales of them.
Well this video didn't age well.
Rosie is definitely and totally one of THE Most Scariest Overlords I've ever seen from *Hazbin Hotel*
