I love pythons, definitely my favorite family of snakes. You got some awesome 😎 shots of GTPs, beautiful.

I definitely got my eye on a carpet/bredli in the future. I have also been looking into larger colubrid species as well (I had a californian kingsnake in the past).
So far, I've narrowed it down to bullsnake, false water cobra, and cribo.
There is also the king rat snake who don't have as much spotlight as the rest on youtube. From what i read elsewhere, they don't have the best temperment, but they're not too difficult to care for. It's their infamous musk that put alot of people off.
Still, they're pretty stunning to look at.

Great video JZ! I agree green tree pythons might have been advanced 20 years ago, but now I would call them intermediate too.

I would really appreciate an in depth of mangrove monitors. There is not much more than the basics out there. You are the man thank you so much for all you do.

Inland Carpet Pythons average the smallest, not the largest. I think you meant to say “centralian” which is synonymous with bredli, not inland (ssp metcalfei).

I had gotten alot of conflicting info about the 2 and more of them and a few people I know who worked with both and more subspecies leaned the other way so that’s why I didn’t go with the inlands

Just want to say… never put gtp’s into a bioactive enclosure. No one who really knows anything about gtp’s keeps them in bioactive set ups as they are really susceptible to bacterial and viral infections. Thats one of the main reasons I wouldn’t consider them intermediate.

Well I’ve kept mine for 4 years in a bio active setup and I spoke with 3 very well known gtp breeders about it that even though that isn’t how they mostly keep them they still do before I set mine up but thanks for the info
