That long bit of metal was for the indicator canceller that u ripped out ya turd, and the x6 has tyre pressure monitoring as standard

ive taken off many airbags over the years, never disconnected the battery, never had one go off in my face
Takes me back to when I had a little vtr.. silver, lowered and a massive back box on the exhaust.. took it for a nice drive one day when I had it all clean and shiny.. drove it under a tractor and trailer. Crushed the car like a coke can.. I miss that car..

Í have one its a Vts but our Vts is 1.4/8v 75hp and the saxo cup 1.6/16v 120hp
lol, I have a custom professionally built twin exit, quad exhaust tip (huge bore exhaust tips) back-box for one of these...It was on a highly modified Saxo that I used to own with a 4-1 manifold and a fully custom decat exhaust, but I took the back box off before I sold it because I had plans to modify it and put it on another car, but I never got around to doing it. The back-box is currently sitting in my shed, and the rest of the car has been completely destroyed; it is currently being used as an oval track car (a type of racing that I used to do).
I actually had a crash in a saxo and rolled it onto it's roof at 90 the car was so bad the paramedic got out a body bag but all I had was a tiny cut on my hand. I hate French cars now but I have a bit of respect for a saxo as one kept me alive

Pretty sure that part you pulled out for the "airbag" is actually what controls your indicator cancel...

I got a 1.6 hyundai coupe last year as a cheap "sporty" looking runabout. Ive done all the usual wheels, steering wheel, sunstrip, seats and cleaned it all up a bit. trying to clean it up at this point with things like wet-sanding the scratches out of the clear coat and compound and polishing it. It would be sick to see you try and do the same thing on this build!! looking forward to all the sick stuff youve got planned for this

I once watched a Lockwood video where he changed a steering wheel, and this involved him taking his T shirt off and showing his pigeon chest,and single chest hair, and then talking to his cat 🐈 like a little girl in a little girls voice , so this video from Jamie is much better, and no saying eeeeeeelads every fucking 2 seconds . You're quite a stocky lad like myself. How did you find the pedal spacing in the Saxo? Never sat in one, but wanted one. Got warned off by a friend who said I'd have trouble with pedals as they're close together.

I wanted a flat bottom steering wheel but got told it’s a mot fail
JonSnowJnr removing the steering wheel airbag is an mot fail anyway if you haven't got heavy modifications such as a cage and harness. Not sure why a flat bottom would change that, especially as a lot of cars can have them as standard now
iamacharliest sorry probably wasn’t clear on what I meant. Flat bottom after market steering wheel so yeah the air bag needs removing so it’s a mot fail.

I have the 1.1 basic trim, its fun to drive. No power steering which gives a good feel when cornering.
Decent tyres and lowered is probably the mod performance mods to start with
