So happy to see you and that you're improving. So sorry you had to go through that was well. My daughter and I would check FCC and see there were still no new videos and we'd pray for you. We've been with you since we did carnivore together and you feel a part of our little family. You have folks in Texas who care about you, Chris! Welcome back and take it easy on yourself. ❤❤❤
Ah bless you Sakeena, thank you so much for checking in on me every now and then, I really appreciate it! Wow, that's a fair few years you've been with me here on the channel - I feel honoured to be part of your little family :) Thank you for your kind words and I'm sending the love right back to you, all the way from England!
The Functional neurology series will start this Thursday so keep an eye out! All further episodes will be on the following Sunday's and Thursday's until the end of July.
All alone...I have no-one. Living here in Oklahoma without a running vehicle & in extreme depression along with PTSD. I'm a senior citizen "living" way below the poverty level btw. Merely existing in this horrendous existence. Thanks for listening to me. I'm going to Delete this comment after you read it, so pls delete any reply you make to it...Please
God would have you live 🙏! For some reason. My daughter passed away from what you had in 2017. All those symptoms since she was 12..she was 23yr old💔💔💔...when she passed.God has a purpose for your life. Praying for your healing. God bless
I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter lin, I sometimes wonder how my body keeps going, maybe there is some force that's encouraging me to keep going. God bless you too
I had AFib, had Ablation, now I have SVT. Scary AF. My sympathies with you. Extremely traumatizing. I’m sorry you are going through this. My BF was just dx with Ulcerative Pancolitis. Life is challenging now. Be well. Thanks for your videos.
Glad to hear you are making it through your terrible experience. Seeking counseling is a great step to take in your recovery. All the best from Canada!!
Thank you Gunndle, I most likely will reach out to somebody, in the meantime I've been making decent progress, which I'm relieved about - all the best back from the UK!
Chris so glad to see you may the Lord of all worlds give you health Ali (a.s.) said in his description of the Godwary ones, ‘They endured hardship for a short while, and in consequence they secured comfort for a long time.’
Good to know someone out in this world has the same fate as me (disease), and went through EXACTLY the same traumatic event as I did😆 Makes you feel like you’re not alone. It will fade away after some time you just gotta stay strong
Wow scary story Chris, never heard of something similar.Hope you recover, really glad to see you back, was wondering if the gut has ended your life or smth. Will definitely watch the series.I myself have had some very difficult moments. A month ago was rushed to the hospital for another painful intestinal blockage, now i am amonth on liquid diet and on 18.7 will have a special surgery to remove adhesions and hopefully get my life back 🤞
It's fine now with any luck mosconi, just have to take things one day at a time! I feel for you, those intestinal blockages are something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy they're that painful; I've also had an operation to remove adhesions in the past - It didn't make me perfect, but it did help. I really hope all goes well for you!
@@ChrisGascoigne1 Thx a lot Chris! Yeah the pain is horrible.I was postponing the operation as long as i could but now i have no more room,i need it.I am on a liquid diet till operation.Anyway really happy you,re back and well now.
I am a Doctor from India. I too experience symptoms similar to yours including palpitations, Tachycardia, anxiety with panic attacks. I was diagnosed with crohn's 2 years ago. What's helping me is Yoga, Isha Kriya, Deep breathing exercises and Beta blockers. Try above and definitely you'll feel Better.
Glad you are back . I admire your resilience! Don’t give up. Sometimes the sheer strength of the mind have gotten people out of hopeless situations (I’m a nurse at a large hospital) I see t all the time Sound like your sympathetic nervous system has sustained some damage. I wish you would let us know what the initial triggering activity was so it helps others avoid it . I it is my hope you would consider keeping the old channel name because what I have found with all these gut disfunction issues is that they have a big brain /neurological connection. The gut brain connection is a real thing. As Psycologist say : everything psychological is biological. It’s all connected guys . Fixing the guy I believe will fix everything else . Good luck on your journey
Thank you for those kind words Cardi, I've always had that attitude towards all of this; sometimes there's no use in complaining as no-one's coming to save you, it's completely up to the individual to strive for a better life. I think the sympathetic nervous system was activated big time, and that was why the huge blood pressure spike came and the racing heart - it wouldn't surprise me if many of the symptoms I was left with were a result of just large amounts of adrenaline in the system. I won't share exactly what the event was, but I can assure you no one else will try what I tried, it's far too 'out there' and bizarre. I will end up changing the channel name, but I won't change the ethos of the channel itself and the information I'll be presenting will closely link in to what I was discussing before I left youtube last year. Fixing the gut and having optimal digestion is one thing I'll continue to discuss for sure so don't worry about that!
Hi chris good to see u. Intresting topics i will watch all ur vids and like m. I have bin dealing with a mild covid for a week or so 2 months ago but after the first week i collapsed with me cu beeing decent for months and i was energetic i just had a post covid major energy problems and just sour and awfull tired and mental darkness to this day its a reaal slow recovery eventougj the active covid was very mild. I feel like its gonna take another year off me life. Playing tarkov and fuckoll to be honest. My metabolism has slowed down so much also covid just fucked me imune system ughh. Anyway cant stress about it. Cheers mate
Hey Aaron, nice to see you here again mate. Sorry you've been through all that shite, I've heard this sort of thing happen to loads of people!! I think the direction my channel is gonna take should benefit you, so I really look forward to hearing from you on the future videos. Keep it going bud and glad you're not stressing too much about it.. best way to be in my opinion.
Hey oliverobama, I had the sudden event, the sudden sense of doom was the first thing, then the high blood pressure and high heart rate came very quickly afterwards - then all the other symptoms I mentioned in the video came weeks to months later, some of which still affect me to some extent today
Sounds very traumatic, glad that you have recovered since then! How is your crohns holding up is that part of your life going well? I think like anxiety also plays a role in ulcerative colitis and crohns like the fear of leaving the household and to reach the toilet in time. We have kind of been on the same path, trying to discover how one can recover from this autoimmune illness, and I have for almost the last 1.5 years been on a plant based diet, and all my symptoms are gone. I know this is highly anecdotal and what works for me might not work for others. I know for my self I think that this calmed my anxiety and the whole stress my body went through being sick, and that this is more in line of the person I want to be and I also think that animal products has been devastating on my microbiome. I now identify as a vegan, and I dont want to participate in any animal cruelty anymore. Will be interesting to follow your new content, and I hope you will have perfect health for the rest of your life. If there is one person that deserves it it is you! Cheers, Chris!
My overall digestion last year was doing far better than it had been over the previous 5 years Henning, so it was a really unfortunate time for this to happen. The UC definitely plays a role in anxiety and wanting to reach a toilet in time in public - sometimes the only way someone could possibly overcome that situation (other than improving symptoms), is to not take themselves so seriously, and if anything happens, hey ho, these things happen in life! It sounds like you're having loads of success eating that way - I'm super stoked for you, you really deserve a good period of rest bite, relaxation and the ability to enjoy yourself. Thank you for your encouraging words, it means a lot!
I haven't Sebastjan, I did try magnesium at first to try and calm things down, it just made things a lot worse - my understanding is that the event may have just caused a huge adrenaline surge and the subsequent symptoms were as a result of that. Takin that stance, I believe time should be my best friend in terms of settling things
You have not told us if your ekg was good or what was it. It could be caused due low potassium levels due crohn disease. Muscle twitching and palpitations would explain it
I only had an ecg and that was apparently fine Pavel. My Potassium level was well within range. Although I agree lots of the symptoms sound like it could be a potassium deficiency, I presume that's highly unlikely seen as the symptoms arose following a sudden stress event; far more probable that stress hormones contributed to this - that's my thoughts
Impossible (even for MDs) to accurately dx a medical or health situation without full medical history incl any new diagnostics and physical assessment. Best to leave it to those who are treating people directly.
Dude, I hope you've seen a heart specialist. Sometimes your condition can be cured with a heart-restart, Sometimes it's genetic and requires an implanted pace-maker to control the arrhythmia (which is my case). This can be life threatening, so insist on seeing a heart specialist.
