I used to buy cigarettes and Powerball tickets at Triangle Market. I have many good memories from Madison. I was taking some English lessons there back in 2005. There are quite a new businesses now at State Street.
Great video. I had 45's, albums and an 8 track player. I might be aging myself, but the very first 45 I owned was Simon Says by the 1910 Fruitgum Company. The NY pizza looked good and made me homesick for NY.
Thank you Rita! It will be interesting to see what replaces streaming and digital downloads in the future. I think my first record was from Rick Springfield. Ian's Pizza never disappoints. NY style pizza is my favorite! 😀
I've lived in Madison for 24 years, it's great, I love Madison! I love it, but to just dwell on a few of the bad things about it for a moment: • the homeless beggars can be aggressive (the city's very safe overall though) • Most mid-priced restaurants are of low quality • Lots of marijuana, lots, it’s everywhere • traffic is bad bc the lakes bottle things up - lots and lots and lots of street construction • Housing and rents are too expensive • Good luck trying to find a dine-in coffee shop open after 8 p.m. - The winters can be brutal, but just like any Midwestern city
@@rjzacher LMFAO. It's a "bad thing" when the servers and cooks of the crappy Madison mid-priced restaurants are high as kites doing a piss poor job. Save the pot for after your work shift. Also, Madison's loaded with crappy drivers, many of them high as kites. LMFAO at you that you can't understand this elementary logic.
I just looked up the upload date of that video since it is an older one. I did that in April of 2023. It must have been one of those unseasonably warm days. Thank you fir watching! 🙂

The evolution of downtown Madison continues. Always something new in Mad-town

@@drewhunkins7192 Traffic bottles up because of mistimed lights, it could flow much better.
What time of year is this? Everyone is dressed for summer but the trees look dead.
