Hi how does the subli paper compare to regular iron on transfer paper which is pretty stiff, I have a regular printer and a sawgrass 500 I have not yet tried to print on subli heat paper . Thanks

always use method 3. first apply vinyl and then with good high release sublimation paper apply the print.

So I've been having a lot of problems using the mask paper. It does not want to transfer to the mask . Not sure if I'm leaving it under the press to long. Any help would be great

Ok question, on the last piece where you taped the sublimation print onto the blank vinyl, what type of ink was used on that print.
A little question. For the 3rd example. I use to use the press with 400 degrees to do the sublimation. Can de vinyl resist that temperature? or what would be the tip to do the sublimation in vinyl?
Wow after learning about been able to do this your video was the first I watched very informative. I'm yet to set up still trying to wk what best as want to do mugs too. And I have a child who can only wear cotton against his skin! So I almost gave up on moving forward.
What is the most cost effective way to do out of the 3 ways u showed and how would it interfere with mug sub?

On the third shirt did you use the same ink as the first shirt? Just on the third you printed it on sub paper instead of directly on the vinyl ?
Is it worth getting a sublimation printer then? Or buying some sort of siser sub vinyl which we print on and cut and then press
The best information ever. Been many weeks tried to find info about these. Just need more info. How many washes before the inks gone?
Glad it was helpful! According to Siser, EasySubli lasts 50+ wash cycles. So the material will most likely last longer than the garment.
Your tutorial is incredible!! Question???? When doing the sublimation one, how do you create the white image (made of what?) before you place the sublimation image on it to be pressed? Not sure why I am confused. Thank you for your assistance.
Thank you! Cheers! All 3 examples in this video are Siser EasySubli, just different application methods. The "white" area in the image is the EasySubli.

On the third shirt you sublimated on a Htv what was the Htv type you used? I thought you could only sublimate on white glitter Htv.

It has a standard vinyl feel. The wash-ability is great! We have done extensive testing with no issues.

That cutting mat has seen some things 😅 but love this video so far def cleared up some things that I couldn’t find anywhere else with both the cameo and the sawgrass with the right ink.

May be this has been asked in the comments before, but I'd like to know if it's possible to perform the third technique (using regular sublimation paper on the tacked down vinyl) with a design similar to the flying saucer one, with multiple little pieces. Can I use the sublimask to pre-tack the vinyl? And do I have to cut out every single piece of the design out of the sublimation paper or can I just press it down on the shirt? I guess that would make it harder to align the two, but I'm just wondering still. Thank you!
Hello Guillaume, Yes you can use the EasySubli Mask to transfer the EasySubli Vinyl to your shirt and use sublimation paper to transfer your design.

Yes, absolutely if you use the offset tool in your design software.

I just used scissors, but you can run it though your cutter also.

Everything in this video is the same product, Siser EasySubli. Sprite just shows a few different ways to apply EasySubli.
I use an epson 2720 and used the sisers HTV but the ink still stays wet and if I touch it while weeding( I have a hard time weeding compare how you do it, cause the ink gets on my fingers) and when I press it, you’ll see my finger prints! Does that happen with the sublijet printer?
Hello Natalie, We are sorry to hear that you are having an issue with EasySubli and your epson 2720 printer. We are not experts when it comes to converted sublimation printers, because there are just too many. It sounds like your printer is laying down too much ink, is it possible to go into your settings and tweak your saturation? You may also have to place your printed easysubli under your heating element for a little longer to properly cure the ink than the 60 seconds that Siser recommends.

I am curious on option #3 and why it would be used? If you have the EasySubli vinyl, what is the benefit of also using the sublimation paper to transfer to the vinyl rather then just printing straight to the vinyl? I see in the video that the quality may be a bit better but is there another reason i am missing? I just received my order of EasySubli vinyl and this video made me much more confident in giving this a try! Thanks for an amazing video!
Hello Ashleigh! Sublimation generally needs a higher heat to properly bond with the substrate. Option 3 is just another way to use EasySubli.

Do you send the vinyl to the cutter with 72 dpi and then print 300 dpi for sublimation print? If so, how do you sync both designs?
Hello Mark! Thank you for watching an d supporting our channel. Before you print your design you add crop marks so that your cutter knows where to cut.
I used an Epson printer with sublimation inks but it was smeared after printing. I let it dry under the thermo press for a few minutes but when I wanted to cut in the cutting plotter, it was still smearing. If I buy a Sawgrass SG500 with SubliJet UHD inks, will it also be smeared? Or do I have to buy Siser inks?

Yes, Sprite cut the Siser EasySubli using a Silhouette craft cutter.

I have wasted two sheets already. One the ink smeared after I placed it in the opened press and the second the vinyl won't come off the backing. :( I hope I can get it right any suggestions?

Why would siser ink be less vibrate if it’s on their own vinyl? I’m so confused on this lol
With sublimation is there a big difference with the feel of the graphic of the shit as opposed to using 3g opaque paper?
With true sublimation, there is zero feel to the graphic.

The substrate selection can be different depending on what ink set (Sublijet, EasySubli) and edition of the Sawgrass Print Manger that your are using. How is this different from standard printable vinyl with regular printer ink?
Hello Katherine, Siser EasySubli uses Sublimation ink which permanently bonds the ink with the material, has a high washable rating, and has a much more economical starting price point. Other Siser printable vinyl lays the ink on top of the material and the printers can cost a lot of money.

This only works with sublimation printers with sublimation inks.
Which side do you print on? Shiny or rough side?? Also time and temp?
You print on the rough side. Siser recommends 12-15 seconds at 311°F.

This will work with any HTV that has polyester in it like Easysubli and Glitter.
