Both teams have very good defences. They did not want to lose. Arsenal were cautious as they were playing away. Also they were missing Odegaard. Atlanta is a very good team. So not easy to beat them at home.
Totally agree with the analysis. Arsenal has a big problem in the attacking front without Martin Odagaard. The tactical change has compromised deploying Kia Havertz upfront as their No.9. Mikel Arteta has to resolve the issue as to whom in the squad he can effectively replace Martin Odagaard. Manchester City played through almost a third of last season without Kevin DeBryune and Earling Haarland, yet they won the league title. Mikel should be well aware that they must have someone readily available to step up during the absence of Martin Odagaard. They have 5 left backs but no abled replacement for Martin Odagaard. Their latest midfield addition of Merino is also not a no.10 but a no.8. They only have 22 first team senior players in the squad. But strictly speaking, they only have 21 because Kieran Tierney is a surplus in requirement in the left back position, and he does not have the versatility to assume other roles. If Edu was able to swap Kieran Tierney for another forward or midfielder, the summer transfer window would have been 10 of 10.
The pundits should be honest that Arsenal's attack looks good in EPL because most of the teams' defense are mid. They found it hard to score vs Porto last year and now Atalanta. @@valmagallon4646 Yes, really. If I can't win, I would rather not lose if possible. Only someone who has never had competition would think otherwise. And if you had no competition then you haven't won anything of worth.
Whether you want to win or not has nothing to do with anything. Because everyone would be a winner if all it took was a desire.
Arsenal played 4th best team in Italy and Europa league winners, not a league one side. Away.
This same team dismantled Liverpool and Leverkusen not long ago. We're not talking about Barnsley and Coventry here.
What team do you support? Because Im sure they win and have won things consistently throughout their history. Right?
@@valmagallon4646 loser no. 1
A Retegui brain fart saved Arsenal.
They're not being paid to talk about Atalanta, which is why they only know about the European super elite teams.
So chase the game loose then you guys have something to talk about nonsense
Come on this is ateam that beat Liverpool on their home what are you on 😂😂😂
Club with no history always struggles in UCL, Not Everyone is Real madrid and Liverpool !!
You mean real and bayern and Barcelona
@@keimotaylor6112you mean just Real Madrid
@@keimotaylor6112 what barca did for the last decade? They've been humiliated every year 😂
Hi Shaka, any comment on Raya? And still think Ramsdale is as good? 😂
I can see another 0-0 against city! As neutral fans, lets hope not
Arsenal is like a beautiful barren woman in Europe 😂😂
Jesus is not a striker. Another proof, he's in and how many did they score? Havertz is the best Arteta's got in that position and Havertz is half of what Haaland is (goal scoring wise) and that on a a very good day too. 9 is the key position, it delivers most goals and assists. Got to have a world class, prolific 9 or forget about winning league titles. Should have lost if it wasn't for Raya- whom you pundits called inferior to Ramsdale, shows how much you know...
ESPN once again proving to be those B rated sports shows😂😂
ARSENAL are the retirement club for MAN CITY & CHELSEA REJECTS
ARTETA PULIS STRIKES AGAIN HEHE
Arsenal are not as good as you guys say. Most English teams aren't. Only Liverpool have European pedigree tbh. Not surprised by the gunners not shooting.
Remember same Atalanta humiliated same Liverpool, clown
Oh yeah…it is definitely the new format…as if Arsenal killed it in the previous format🤣🤣🤣
Clown show at ESPN, happens when you superficially follow all teams.
arteta is glorified david moyes. 541 block parking the bus and set pieces. gabriel plays and looks like joleon lescott 😂
