- When the gang visits Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, they must investigate a mysterious case of the animatronics getting a bit quirky at night.
Here's the Springtrapped re-dub, like I promised!
My apologies for the delay. I have a pretty big project in the works, and some of the original Springtrapped files went missing, so i've been juggling a lot of things to finish the redub while preparing for this other project, (which i hope to officially announce soon, so stay tuned)
In the meantime, I want to thank the voice actors who kindly volunteered to help me re-dub voices for Springtrapped, This version of the short wouldn't have been possible without them, and I really appreciate their willingness to help me out.

I shall say it again, this feels like the sort of Tongue and Cheek stuff Fazbera Entertainment would do to discredit the "fake history" behind their franchise and I love it!
This project is such a remarkable achievement! The way you captured the style of both Rankin Bass stop motion and Hanna-Barbera original Scooby Doo is SO impressive, but I can also feel your own personal touch to this project. It's a work of love and it shows in every frame. Amazing!
This animation feels like Rankin Bass created an unreleased _Scooby Doo, Where Are You?_ special that everyone never knew it existed.
Plus, I hope that you get recovered from all the backlash you confronted. AI or not, this animation is gorgeous.

Yes they are. But the voice actors on the other hand (Except for the security guard and Shaggy) horrendously failed to actually sound like the characters they were supposed to be voicing.

I personally don't think AI for small projects like this is wrong, but it's really impressive to see the amount of work you're willing to do. You honestly didn't deserve the backlash you received for your original video. I personally think it's a bunch of big babies making a fuss over something for attention.
Edit: honestly I only think the use of AI is wrong when you're using it to replace an actual actor in a high budget film or TV show when the normal voice actor could have been available. I also don't think people should be able to monetize a celebrity or voice actor's voice without permission

I love the animation favourite part of both videos. The one good thing about that whole ordeal is that it brought attention to you’re work, you deserve praise for the quality content you’ve put out.

God this is so good, i love that the night guard’s model is the mailman from santa claus is coming to town, and that the episode feels just like an original episode

Now that you have actual VAs, it's a lot better now! I think the backlash you received was far out of line and horrible, but I'm glad you handled it well and decided to make a redub of this film. Just like what I said previously, I love these stop motion type of Rankin Bass animations like this, and I like both Scooby-Doo and Five Nights at Freddy's (FNaF) at the same time, since when I was little. Also, I'm very impressed of how you were able to recapture the Rankin Bass stop motion animation styles in Blender in this collaboration of Scooby-Doo and FNAF, and I also like the re-dub for this more; also the voice actors for this redub have done an incredible job. Also, I'm very sorry for the initial backlash that you've faced when it first released out to the public.

So we have a Scooby-Doo/ Five Nights at Freddy's crossover animated like an old Rankin/Bass holiday special. I guess this would technically be a 3-way crossover.

I think you should keep the original on your channel up because it’s great seeing the differences between them and both have strong advantages with the voice decision (the first video they sound just like the original actors and they have the audio effect on that sounds more scratchy so it feels more retro, however this one the lines have more emotion behind them and there’s more in the moment reactions).
I think the biggest standout to me of the new voices is surprisingly the security guard. He sounded fine in the original but here I like that he has a bigger shock about William afton and he felt more real here.
regardless I love these two videos and I would really love you to do something like this with maybe say: the grinch? Like take the original animated version or even the book and maybe make this amazing claymation style animation with that timeless story and bring a bit of that retro feel to it. I say give it a go with your own voice for the characters and if you’re not happy you could put the call out like this reupload did for voice actors to help I’m sure there’s plenty of people who would be very happy to ❤️ keep up the incredible work
And to think this version wouldn’t exist if people hadn’t been harsh on the original…. I love both, and genuinely see nothing wrong with using AI voices!

This is a huge improvement! Next time, don’t be afraid to ask for VA help, plenty of people out there would be more than willing to lend you their talents.
I didnt said anything before, but i saw the original, and i gotta say, you mate got a big talent, great, exelent job, i also saw your other videos, all of them are great, and the stop motion like animation, it just hits the spot, i love this, keep up the great work, and dont care too much about the haters, they just dont like to see pure talent, you are awesome, and do a perfect job!

Eagan, huge props to you! You really did basically nail this the first time around, I can see the effort and passion you put in to this as a fun little project. And after receiving unfair hate from gross Hollywood prima-donnas over hypocritical AI VA critiquing, you kept your cool and made an awesome video a second time. Thank you for the great work you did on the first "SPRINGTRAPPED" as well as on this one :). Also great work to all the VAs who came in and lent their talent!

Sorry to see you get bullied into doing this redub. They really didn't need to do that to someone who seems to be just starting, especially when you're using what you had available at the time. That being said, this redub is pretty great too. I'm excited to see what's up next

I watched the original one, didn't know people were upset by the AI voice. Goes to say the Butlerian Jihad is going strong. I get when Disney goes for it as if they didn't have enough revenue to get actual people but then martyrizing a lone creator is a bit too much in my opinion

Honestly, the new cast did an awesome job. They nailed the sound of the OG cast as far as i can tell. If anything, the security guard was the only one that stood out a bit...probably cause his audio was too "clean" vs the gang in the beginning of the episode.
Regardless, both are impressive (and really i give an extra point to the AI Cast because it didn't sound like an AI was doing the voices then).

There was no real backlash other than a couple loud whiners on Twitter. The majority were okay with it and understood why he used AI voices.

I enjoy Scooby Doo and this is great, never saw any problems.
For the people who are getting angry about Eagan "bending the knee", you should know that he always wanted to have the original animation be fully voice-acted. He just used A.I. because he didn't have the connections and / or money to get people to voice the characters. The backlash he got was absolutely undeserved, but he didn't do this to get the respect of the people who were hating on him. He redubbed the animation because he wanted to, plain and simple.

Even if this is re-dubbed understandably, I'm glad you did this out of love of the original Scooby-Doo series.
The newly add voice actors did a good in their roles (especially Joey Sourlis in sounding almost close to Frank Welker's version of Fred Jones).
I hope more of this fan made Scooby-Doo stuff will be made in the future.

I said this of the original and I will say this of the re-dub, this is a thing of beauty. Made not just with talent, but a clear love and passion for scooby and fnaf as well as the old school stop motion style of rankin-bass. And the fact the creator went out of their way to re-dub this with actual VAs when they didn’t have to is amazing and shows how much they loved this. I hope I someday get to see a movie in theaters done by Eagan.

Joey as Fred is Surprisingly good. I always thought no one could come close to Frank Welker since he's been here from the begging. Somebody needs to get Joey in contact with Warner and have Frank mentor him.

No matter if this is made using Blender 3.5, I still can't help but see how real the stop-motion looks. Even if the intent behind it was to make it look stiffer looking (kinda like Fireman Sam Seasons 1-4). These voice actors have got talent btw!

I'm gonna feel old but this is based off Rankin Bass animation, you'd know their works in those stop-motion Christmas movies. It's perfectly done though, I actually thought they actually used stop motion to animate!
@@theonlyMoancore Even then, I feel it kinda follows the more stiffer and cheaper stop-motion Fireman Sam had during its first four seasons than it did Rankin' Bass. I will say that is a very good point.
I am so happy you kept the original feel of Scooby Doo and didn't go for the kinda overdone, "oh hey, here's a kids show but it's horrifying." You did such a good job and though I didn't mind the AI you did a wonderful job with the voices.
Yeah, I'm not tired of that kids' horror style yet and even expected it here, but this certainly fits way better.

@micah7453 despite the fact that he was harassed by professional voice actors. He was given criticism he was harassed.
I would understand the backlash if it was a big company behind this and they used AI to avoid paying for voice actors, but come on, this is a fan project fueled by passion. I wouldn't be surprised if he made little to no money due to the stupid 3,000 hour required watch time and the 3 video upload within 90 days to become monetized.
I hope he never takes down both, honestly see both you can see he things will look with AI first VA.
and yes, its a shame he had to face such stupid backlash, for something that could been handled by the VA in oh so many better ways that wouldn't of made her look like an entitled B**** and yes thats what she was acting like.
She could've offered her voice for it a way to show why AI is not better and gained support for the "Strike" but no instead they turned people away.

Like everyone else is saying, your effort to redub this is impressive and while the concern over AI voice acting is understandable in an industry level, the backlash you got for using it on a short indie passion project was just ridiculous.

The tone and feel is exactly like that of classic Scooby Doo. I recall someone saying on the original video that it feels like it’s set in the FNAF universe; a propaganda piece paid for by the company to hide the truth. Kind of brilliant.
