I got to D5 by Solo queing but since then i lost 500 RP and lose more than i gain +30/+35/-35/-40. First i thought wow that is really easy but now i'm desperate.

If you play the game almost every day like Varsity, then yes ranked 2.0 is very easy. But for people who either get limited time or have work they have to do, then it is really hard to work your way up the ranks. You would have to win around 60-85 matches to get champ, this may sound easy, but don't forget for people who solo q will have to face coordinated 4-5 stacks. It is not as simple as it may sound.
so people who dont have much time to play the game have a harder time getting champ? who wouldve thought

Now here is my question: if you suck at the game, do you get placed against people who also suck, or am I missing the point?
I have 150 games this season and i hit d5 really fast after 100 games but after that i lost 500RP and only played against Dia's and Champs because i had a 60% Winrate. I dropped down to Emerald 4. And i lose now more RP than i gain but i'm still playing against high dias and lost now more Games than i won. The Game still thinks i'm Dia or Champ especially solo it's just not fun anymore to play the WHOLE season against Dia's and Champs only because you have a positiv Winrate they have to determine your skill with KOST and Winrate and not only on winning it's just as stupid as before.
Won exactly 50 matches since ranked 2.0 released and only in bronze 5

This ranked system is a mess for me. Haven’t played in over a year and I’m facing champ/diamond players all the time.
The system *should* be punching you in the mouth enough until you're facing players of your skill level, and if you're doing too good it should bump you back up. Since everyone starts at the bottom it'll take some time to level out, or at least that's the idea.
Well if you were really good last time you played i doubt it would be putting you in really bad lobbies
It'll normalise to your current skillset by playing more.
I didn't play two seasons, came back to diamond players.. whilst sucking balls at the game now. Put me where I need to be after a buncha maps.

Same for me, in silver i was goin like 10-4, 8-2 almost every match. Now in gold i'm happy if i get a kill
Currently Gold 3 and same, without atleast a 3 stack chances of winning are slim
Well it’s not based off rank anymore but a hidden mmr. If you were a better than average silver last season then you will be put against higher ranked players. The hidden mmr might still be trying to gauge your actual skill level though so if you do bad enough times against way better players, it should drop you in to lobbies that better suits you
The way tracker is calculating win% is based of ur current Elo so it’s all over the place, and I hope the tracker updates to incorporate my stats from console over to pc since I switched over, I want to be able to update my stats so it stops saying I’m level 18 with little play time haha. Cross progression account is level 220

Ranked is just miserable for me. I'm usually a gold player, and I'm playing against champs and diamonds sweating their balls off. Even if I rank up, it doesn't mean shit to me, because your rank is basically only there for show. Different colored icons next to my name. At least before ranked 2.0 it meant something, because it represented my actual rank, but now I'm closing in on diamond, even though I have never even been in plat 1? I just don't feel accomplished and I couldn't care less about the backgrounds or whatever and the uncommons I'll get from the alpha packs they give at the end of season. They basically removed the entire point of a ranked system.

I'm glad that I don't have as much of a loss in my mmr from having issues when getting back into playing. I've been playing off and on for a while, and since playing more this season, I've been able to get back up to speed without losing a whole bunch. (Other than a few Ls in my first day.)

yea I really want him to shut up about the ranked system until he actually plays the season more, cuz everyone's initial impressions of it have been terrible takes and misinformation on how the new ranked system works, do we know every detail on how it works? no but if we did people would abuse it like they did before. its pretty easy to gauge the skill level of your lobby too with the tracker since you can quickly see everyone's peak rank. the reason the system gives you so much rp in the beginning (if you aren't an actual copper or bronze player) as it wants your visual rank to represent your skill rating, so eventually you will hit that cap and it will be much harder for you to push up rank and what is shown visually is pretty accurate to the skill of players in your lobby.
And I'm sick of seeing the siege community degrade other players who might not be necessarily having a good game or they are just getting unfortunate timing and then the ones who do have kills by chance of having the lucky timing of peeking an enemy and they happen to win their gun fights, call others bots. If your immediate response to a teammate is to bitch at them for not staying alive after you've died and got a kill or two before you died, you are the problem, focus on figuring out what went wrong whether it was the communication or miscommunication in calls or lack of.
Worst season so far. Went all up to Gold 1 to get to Plat 1 like every Season ( 1.6-1.9 K/D) then i lost nearly every game. I tracked my Opponents and played against Diamond/Emerald every single game, but my mates were around Gold/Platin. My K/D went up to 2.9 because i‘m the only one playing in my team. Now i‘m stuck at Silver 4 for 2 weeks and i played every day since the new season and my point rewards went down. Now i‘m in Silver and can’t find any good mates, cause the real Plat players don‘t want to play with a silver 4 with a 2.9 K/D. Love the new season 🧢
I was in copper V when i started playing ranked and got matched against someone who was champ for the highest rank. Otherwise he was a diamond 1 almost every season. His rank in the new season was silver ll. I dunno how Ubisoft matches people against each other. Before the new update, i was always in gold lV to gold II. In that ranked version the most i got matched against was a low diamond player. But my teammates were close to diamond too so i would understand that. But this time matching agaisnt champion but in the end pulling off a win 4-2 cuz of easier defence round. I just dont understand because a champ or diamond would have good aim and game sense and he did seem to have both but it didn't feel like he was a true diamond player at most he was plat level in my opinion.

@@MV-tf7ev idk what ranks they are atm but the new season ranked is unbalanced. Low levels are playing ridiculously high levels, and I’m just not used to pc siege yet. When I played console siege, sure I could handle console level plats, maybe not diamond level but plats, but I especially cannot handle his high level. Playing unranked and casual I’m able to go mostly positive, doing solid, in ranked rn it’s tough to win any gunfight.

@@MV-tf7ev the problem i see is you work hard for a Win but you get only 40 RP but your teamate can get 80 RP in the same match. I like how everyone starts at copper but the RP + - should be same for everyone.
I had a 13 game losing streak in bronze/silver but was also playing with my friend up in diamond (who has been diamond/high play for a few seasons) so I got in a slump. Finally pulled out. In past 4 days I’m 29-7 WIN/LOSS. Thankfully pushing emerald pretty easily rn best of luck to u bro

I started getting only 40 Elo at around silver 3 so the game thinks I’m gold or something even though I had a good win rate this season of about 70%
i lose 31 in silver 3 when i go 11-5 , but gain 65 when i go 1-4 so idk what thats about
Honestly they should have kept original rank but still started everyone at copper, but if you win you still get a high amount of mmr and when you lose you don’t lose more than you gain when you win
I'm a silver player and the game is putting me in plat lobbies every game. And every game I either get carried by my team or get destroyed by the other team.

I've always played solo and have a 1.6kd but most my matches now are diamonds or champs from previous seasons and my team are like silvers and some legit bronze players :/ not sure how this hidden mmr stuff works but I don't think it should work like this

Ranked 2.0 has flaws. I played against plats for the first 30 games this season and I ended in gold last season. (I play duos with a plat). In the beginning of the season I started playing solos. My son rate was around 25% and the game things I’m a bronze. I’m currently in silver 3 and gain 35 for a win and lose around that much. … impossible to get to the rank I obviously belong to because when I play solo I shit on the players in that rank but still get around a 50% win rate so I’m stuck… (with a positive kd)

Usually place gold with one plat season. And been playing against plat bronzes and diamonds still. Copper and bronze still has too many good players.
I've been going against diamond and champs since day 1 of 2.0 as solo or duo averaging at least 5 kills with a 1.3kd, currently emerald, and the game still thinks my skill level is high gold/low plat... Normally P1 or high P2 and have hit diamond before when I used to play over 125 games a season. Meanwhile, the game thinks that my duo, who I've hit diamond and P1 with, has champ level skill even tho I've carried him in most of the games we played together. It's baffling

cuz you hit your peak of mmr, now you have to actually win and push up your mmr bit by bit. and varsity keeps spreading misinformation on the ranked system with bs clickbait vids of "hey look guys i'm getting +80 in silver and gold, just ignore the fact i've been as high as diamond 1 on the account and consistently plat or higher every other season." once he gets to high plat and low emerald he will start to see the dip in RP gained and increase in RP lost.
