@@hellatubbies882yt defenders spawn peeking and holding angles that is always held and therefore easy to predict is what is leading to that. you want to be a consistent player but don't let the enemy figure out your habits. if you are solo q start playing defense one man army ops. if you solo q you need to be able to 1v5 essentially. and sometimes its a 1v9 but hey at least you tried your best. and just ignore the shit talking little boys who think kd is everything in siege.
I've felt the same thing this season, people don't treat ranked like ranked anymore. It's on defense too, nobody brings anti breach, nobody reinforces, everybody spawnpeeks. Idk I haven't played much ranked, so maybe when you get into higher ranks and the amount of RP you gain and lose is more equal people start sweating more but where I'm at right now nobody takes it seriously because there's just no stakes.
The RP change stays the same no matter where you’re at. Worst Ranked system in ANY game that I’ve EVER seen. No stakes and no reason to try for most people. It feels like TDM more than ever right now.
@@llamaliver448 Really? I've heard from people who have gotten up to like emerald that eventually you start gaining like 40 RP per win and losing 40 per loss
@@Gli7chyGuy I’ve heard mixed things. As far as video evidence goes though, I’ve only seen +80 and -9 for EVERY rank. For the sake of the game though, I hope you’re right and they’re doing it similarly to Apex Legends :/
@@llamaliver448 So in theory once your rank hits your hidden skill level you should be losing and gaining about the same amount of RP, but you're right that apparently a lot of players who have hit high ranks are saying that it's not actually working that way and they're still gaining 70-80 and losing ~9. So I guess the system isn't working as Ubi intended?
@@Gli7chyGuy The sad reality is, Ubi DID intend for it to work this way. It’s how they advertised it and for some reason nobody pushed back. Now everyone has to deal with this horrid system. We just have to pray that they admit a mistake for once and revert the change.
Teamwork no longer matters. I see the same 3 attackers every round. Nook, Ash, and Iana, it's repetitive and boring.
But that's the game people want to play... I always said this, what's really killing Siege isn't Ubisoft, even with their big blunders that deserve to be called out like cheaters. It's the community that has made the game much more unfun for me

I thought it was just me.... I swear a lot of these new players rush and bait on defense like there's no teamwork whatsoever and this is coming from a playstation player
I’ve found 2 strategies for people who aggressively rush.
1. Is just tank preferably with rook or mastro as extra health and intel can come in clutch.
2. Find where they’re entering from and have someone watching it or trap it
This. Either shut down the rush and force the smooth brain players to think a little harder or coordinate with a stack so you know where everyone comes from.
One of my favorite strategies is to mute a doorway and just lie prone with a shotgun nearby. No drones to find you, and if someone walks in with their gun up they eat buckshot to the hip. It's a guaranteed kill on squishier attackers and 3 armors will be downed if it doesn't kill them.

I've gotten used to having half my team dead in the first 30 seconds...... If I'm on attack half the team is dead by the time I get off my drone....... Shits dumb. Siege has become cod with gadgets that no one uses and it sucks.
Varsity the cheater situation has gotten way worse I played against 4 cheaters last night, all in casual, and one was two games in a row it was bad

I think the new ranked system already needs a rework. It’s basically just skill based matchmaking now without any reward. I’m playing diamonds and champs but can’t leave gold.

mouse in the corner for me happends after i close the game, what normally happends it that ill have a mouse overlay , ill move the mouve and its arrow but i cant move my aim , only aswd.
yesterday that happened to me i warned my team i had to restart and when i cameback i was banned for 60 mins .....

Been playing since launch and this is the season where I’ve finally decided to take a break. Just couldn’t do it this time around :/
I think a lot of veteran players feel that way. We’ve stuck around so long because there just isn’t a game like Siege. The Ranked system required teamwork, strategy, and you could win with your brain just as well as someone could win with their aim. This season seems to have taken that uniqueness away to some extent. FPL is the only safe place anymore and even those lobbies are dead now.

i thought the mouse in the corner glitch was just me every time i close siege it gets stuck in my other monitors corner lol
Only have that issue on the dx launcher. The vulkan launcher seems fine.
If i remember if you press win + ctrl + shift + b or ctrl + shift + b you can stop the mouse in the corner glitch

So the random jitter and lag IS an issue from the game, I have been dealing with that for near three seasons now, like, first match it goes perfectly fine, the n the second one it decides to screw me over unless I reset the game, so annoying.
these last couple games have been the sweatiest i’ve seen

The new rank system doesn’t bother me, it’s Ubisoft removing the 1000 elo difference restriction. When my 5 stack was grinding at the beginning of the season we we’re getting enemy teams with plats in copper…

I love how Ubisoft basically added "Copper to Diamond" for Varsity.
JK, nope. With the hidden mmr it makes absolutely zero sense for copper to diamond to actually be a thing. Why you may ask? Well with the new ranked 2.0 you basically go against 5 stacks or you face the same people over and over again. Or you face absolute noobs. It is unranked.
I played against TheOnePistolGuy- and his stack he's number 4 Champ with 11k RP and i played against his stack and i was solo queing and was last season P1 seems really fair to me.
I get +37 and lose 35 and i'm Emerald 1 now and i'm stucked. And most of the games i'm going up against Champs. First i had a 60% Winrate until Emerald but now i'm losing most of my games

well i mean, it is but its not, it is fun to DO a shotgun rush and win, but it sucks when another team does shotguns/lmg rush and my team is mowed down 35-40 seconds into the round

This is exactly what i mean! I play on xbox with my friend all the time and this season in particular the game doesn’t right. All the plats and high gold just rush, even in casual. Every game we played so far we’ve seen a nook, ash and iana. Its destroying the game as you can’t have fun anymore without an ash killing half your team and having full control of bombsite. I hope this phase disappears soon because i’m seriously starting to let go of siege at this point.
This is what happens when you neuter every single gadget-the very things that made this game appealing. Now everybody just run and guns, etc.

Can’t agree on that, In this game I’m very eager to know set up strats and the map being new is hard in siege and definitely not more fun
Learning the maps and the game mechanics is fun on its own. A lot more fun than knowing most of the set ups on all the maps, and getting infuriated with your teammates for not doing them the right way. It gets way more maddening the more you get into it. Like chess in a way. I had way more fun playing chess when I didn't know what I was doing than knowing what I'm doing and still failing.
Highly rewarding either way, I still play siege 4 years after I first downloaded the game. Can't say the same for every game I own.
As you learn, the game is insanely enjoyable, even if you're playing badly. Because sometimes you'll get those dumb luck kills that make you so happy. But in my experience, as I learned more, I took it more serious, thus making the game less fun. That's not to say I never have fun anymore, but I'm not as trash as when I was a beginner, so I become more critical of myself, my teammates, and the legitimacy of the enemy team, which sort of sucks out the fun usually

I finally got to champ this season on console due to the new season and these rounds are so boring. Literally everyone rushes on MnK and rounds are over in 45 seconds not fun and the way siege is meant to be played. Sucks
