- Rambo is a soldier whose goal is to complete missions and kick some butt; however, whenever he sees something he likes, he states it without any hesitation. In this video, I have assembled the instances where Rambo exchanges friendly conversations with other Characters.

Well between Rambo III and Mortal Kombat Special Forces.... yeah that's a lot of PTSD support needed for Rambo and Jax
@@fredcasdensworld I hate to break it to you but the generic sequels didn't stop at Rambo III. There was an attempted reboot/revival just called Rambo in 2008 and Rambo Last Blood in 2019.

I like how human Rambo is through all this. Surrounded by monsters and badasses, he's just the quiet one who's willing to admit he's totally out of his depth. But a mission's a mission.

Nah, I think he's afraid to fight most of them. But real warriors do not try to fight the fear within them. Real warriors fight their enemies despite being afraid. That's the real bravery.

What john does is indulge.
He indulges in violence and pain because that's familiar to him. We cling to what we are familiar with, as it's easier to deal with in the immediate future. A life without that pain is scary to john, so he continues to perpetuate it. And so, he has confused indulgence with release.
Ultimately, nobody can save him. Thing is, the same is true for anyone. Only you can save you.

By Rambo's own words he is dangerous when he is pushed.
It's...hard to look at Rambo, not cause he looks bad or anything. It's his eyes. They're not there, he's not there. It's creepy and perfectly sells the kind of shell shocked veteran he is. He's almost going through the motions.

Man, his reaction to the Shaolin cut me a bit. Even after all the over-the-top sequels, the core of the character is still PTSD. I'm kind of surprised they put that in, honestly.
Rambo, of all people, knows it takes more than a koan and a serene air to bear one's past.
To Robocop: "I glad someone is trying to help you cope."
Also included a few quotes from his monologue at the end of First Blood. Definitely paying tribute to the character

Heck in another dialogue she tries to recruit him into helping her take out the Lin-Kuei and his response showing he wants no part of it is this: "Why they haven't done anything to me."

I respect Rambo the moment I saw First blood. He was a man who did nothing wrong, and yet judged for fighting for his country. No thank you, only "vile" crap from his fellow Americans.

I gather from his intros he is pushing Rambo purposely as a way to test his temper-Rambo is part native American on his fathers side and part of the tribe after all. And Nightwolf knows Rambo needs to face his past much like he did if he's ever to have any peace.
For Nightwolf, it's a mentorship. In some strange reality Rambo could even GAIN the mantle of Nightwolf.

Rambo is kind of an underappreciated character. He actually has a lot of depth, he's always been one of my favorite "heroes".

I think it's extremely cool how all these superpowered warriors are treating Rambo with relative respect, despite Rambo being a normal human being. He has a ton of topline training, but even still he's got no superpowers or abilities despite that.
