That is a smoking hot deal!!!. Crate hellcat engine alone is over $22,000. It's all the other things like coolers, harness etc that will nickel & dime you to death. You got just about everything (minus damaged parts) to do the swap.

That's not bad at all. Especially if you already have a Donor body. I saw on TH-cam some guy got a Hellcat Swap and the Shop only charged him $6000 to install it in a Chrysler 300. With the low insurance. No car payment. Better interior. You can't beat that.
Not bad at all for blown 707hp factory built Hemi with 8 spd trans, dash, gauges, all wiring, modules, gigantic Brembo calipers, fuel pumps etc... That shit adds up quick piecing it together.
I think that's a really good deal. You get a 707 horsepower right out the box. I'm trying to find one out of a trackhawk for the all-wheel drive.

The warranty is the key. You will only be out your labor and time if it doesn't run. But, I'm sure it's nothing that can be identified isolated and fixed. But you REALLY have to have an incredible garage to get all that back in factory shape. Best of luck. That's a BEAST of a great deal!

Watching things like this really is intriguing, i once had a 1963 Karmann Ghia that i put a junkyard trailblazer motor in. Took 2+ years but eventually ran 9.66 at 137 in the 1/4. I say all this just to encourage the little guys out there, you dont need 50 grand. 10 grand can also get you 10 second passes.

I guessed 18k lol pretty good deal man for everything you got. Even right now for just a hellcrate is $15k which they have come down. When they first came out they were over $25k.

If you stroke a 5.7l hemi and bore the cylinder walls .010 it makes the displacement 392 (6.4l) put a twin screw supercharger and I believe you would have the equivalent horsepower as a hellcat.

$17k is dirt cheap. I’m pricing one off of mopars website and it’s going to be at least $26k for just the engine, transmission and components for it to run.

That's not a bad price and with all my research on this type of project and donor vehicle is the way to go. And you just pointed out why...it's all over the floor in garage. There is site...engine-swaps.com, they have a bunch of stuff for the dakota engine swaps. I'm excited and can't wait to see this build in action. You probably better off getting a Lovely Beautiful 426 Big Block Hemi you wouldn't need to go into all this trouble where as 426 once you have the mounts & you wouldn't need a wiring harness & have a 6 speed manual transmission & those 426 engines have so much power to or go for a 340 Hemi they also have very good performance but don't know if can buy those engines anymore but if you can still get these 340 Hemi engines that's another option & you could even add a Supercharger on this engine & same goes for the 426 Big Block Hemi & go with a pro charger Kind Regards Peter
I would love to swap one of these in my chrysler conquest.
Doesn't go in with Duct tape and superglue, be a lot of time and hard work to get that installed. Was thinking bout doing that with my Scatpack but if I do will go much more than a regular Hellcat engine.
The misc. parts are worth the price without the engine. Good luck tracking down all that stuff especially when you don't know what your looking for.

Keep in mind that trans has the first two gear ratio lower that your Dakota transmission, The first gear ratio is 4.71..... now look at the rear gear ratio , Dakota RTs came with 3.92. That's 18.46 to one tire , so you got to go with some serious slicks, by the way there is a guy with a black dakota with this engine and a six speed... running a best of 10.36 at 136mph. Now you see how the owner lost into something big and round. If that's how it was wrecked, he may of dogged traffic. So dont be afraid to widen the wheel tubs for some meats... your truck sould run low tens,

I’m watching and trying to guess the number. I’m thinking between $15-20k, then at the last moment I said ‘$17k’, just a second before you revealed the price. Personally, I think it’s a very fair price if not a great deal for all you got. And the motor is barely broken in. You won’t even have to clean it up because it looks factory-fresh.
Every motor on eBay does not come with every bottle cooling system you just mention and they are going for $12k and up

That warranty must be from the yard as dodge will not cover it once it is installed in an non OEM body. Still a good deal with all the wiring to make it work. Will you be able to drive this on the street( being as you live in CA) emissions would be my worry. Good luck and I do mean that. Looking forward to seeing it all come together.
