- My positive 1 1/2 hour labor home birth story.
In September of 2022 my husband Obie and I found out that we were expecting. And I was due in May of 2023.
At 31 weeks I had some sudden bleeding and doctors were concerned that I was having a placenta abruption. But thankfully it turned out to only be a small laceration that hemorrhaged. And after a two day hospital stay I was released and was able to continue with my plans of a home birth.
Here’s a link to a full video detailing my emergency hospital stay. 👇🏼

After going 2 weeks past due, my labor finally began and I labored and gave birth to our daughter at home.

Congratulations to your wonderful family on the addition of Jordyn! May God bless your family.🙏📖 🙏
What a precious family!! So happy for you both.
Congratulations, she is a princess. God bless you all.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
My 3rd birth was VERY similar. We induced at home with cohosh and a membrane sweep, and she was born 90 minutes later. I didn't feel distinct contractions at all, just ongoing pressure. It's encouraging to find such a similar birth story.
Congratulations
Water broke completely?
I’m really not for sure on that.
