Just from the thumbnail I knew it wasn't going to be exactly accurate Amapiano; but I clicked cuz I knew technically I was going to learn so much more than the original genre producers since I highly doubt those guys can explain in such detail as much as this guy did.
    Great job! And thank you!

I think it's great how Boris explains exactly how he got inspired, shows step by step what and how he worked it up, and of course he's not gonna do something overly complex , as far as amapiano goes, he wants the less initiated to feel inspired and feel like they can easily do something similar , as well..... Great stuff THANK YOU BORIS and NATIVE INSTRUMENTS

He did sidestep some issues that does plague the Maschine though that veteran users constantly mention in the forums but from the point of showmanship in what maschine can do, Boris did a fantastic job. However, as someone who does listen to Ama piano on a consistent basis, I simply made an observation and pointed out the weird sense of incongruity I was hearing or lack thereof.

The intention may have not been malicious; but just to demonstrate a workflow.
However the execution is far from the style, it's actually not Amapiano at all. For some this inaccurate interpretation will be their introduction to the genre.
Considering the historical nature of how black artists have routinely been exploited, sidelined and their music "white washed".
The natural thing to do when an exciting new style emerges, birthed in the townships of South Africa by black youth with very little resources.
Is to platform them and let them show you how it's actually done.
    Please do better next time.
