$300 vs. $3000 Lighting Setup

With our $3,000 dollar lighting setup we were able to create a beautiful soft source with a Aputure 600d shooting through a 6x6 frame of unbleached muslin. This material is great to work with because it warms the color temperature of the light bringing more life to the skin tone. Not only is this a great key light setup, it also doubles as room tone, increasing the ambient light level of the whole space. The largest downside of our smaller setup is being unable to shape and diffuse the light without losing too much output.
