I recently got a bow to get up to 8 million damage using a gong, void strike, supercharge, critical hit, and overcharge it was also the first time I hit for over a million damage
In my current build I have the Guardian bow, which has built in supercharge, and I enchanted it with overcharge, critical hit and chain reaction. With a gong it's damage was about 9 million, I'm level 160 or thereabouts
Fun fact - Ambush is a lot less helpful than most enchants in singleplayer. Sure, wraith pots exist, but since you're the only target nothing won't target you.

Also soul lantern does crazy damage and is basically a room clearer all on its own. Plus, enemies it kills still drop souls, so if you use it against a bunch of enemies you usually make a profit, especially if you have a lot of increased soul gain.

The tower is pretty broken ngl. It can reward you with gears 30 lvls above, could have been balance for the 2 first tower events since these ones were really hard, but know its just so easy to get to 30/30 that im always playing with speed boots
I enjoy this game, but i like playing coop, so the tower kinda killed my enjoyment cause it was new content focused on solo, which isnt bad but solo i prefer massacaring mooshrooms Just an opinion tho, love the content dude
@@zaleman1576actually, it is a unique variant of the Obsidian Claymore, which is found in the Echoing Void DLC. It can also be found in merchants and tower runs, not just mob drops in the End Wilds.
i used the starless night on my first 2 tower runs, but the slow attack speed kept getting me and so i switched to that one sword that gives you a speed boost when you kill an enemy, apparently thats one of my favorite weapons now

here's a reason to use a soul build. The Corruption Beacon thing is a soul powered DEATHRAY

DF's ability to title videos has improved greatly over time.
Btw you can drag and drop the artifacts you don't just have to select them so you can replace any of the ones you don't like
