the cardboard kickstand is better than the actual one
I had a kickstand for like four months, then it fell off and got lost. I found it a year later and it broke the same day

There is more plastic and actual controllers and stuff than I expected. Is almost like putting cardboard on the switch instead of taking all the parts out and putting them in a cardboard shell.

Peter really became one of those baddies , not caring about the fact his house can burn down

I don't know who needs to hear this... But most if not all tech will shutdown at about 100C or 212F. Paper ignites well above that. Different types of paper have a flashpoint at different temps, but take some paper, turn your oven to what's probably it's lowest setting and put a piece of paper on a baking sheet. It'll never start on fire.
I used to make cardboard switches when i was younger, they obviously didn't work. Fun tho

I think you can actually make a durable shell if you soak the cardboard in resin. I think there's other ways but resin I think would be easiest.
Adam Savage has also done something similar where he turned his book into a hammer by layering resin in between the pages and squeezing out the excess.
