Harry Potter was the most emotional franchise I've ever watched. "Dumbledore's Farewell" music theme is enough to tell why Harry Potter is full of emotions.
He did care for him, Harry wasn't a pig for slaughter after all. Dumbledore probably cared for him way too much than his plan meant to, he really was like a grandfather to Harry, the one the boy who lived never had! And the way he was soo proud that Harry really did sacrifice himself melts my heart.🥺🖐️
@@Warzulu77 the protection disappeared when voldemort returned in the end of the goblet of fire, with the protection he couldn't even touch harry, but when he used his blood to regain his final form he could touch him

Well, Dumbledore wasn't entirely sure about that, but he supposed so and he turned out to be right. It's actually said in the book. And for all I understood, he didn't want Harry to know that in advance so that his sacrifice would be real and could give the others the same protection that Lily had given him, because Harry says to Voldemort during their final battle that the defenders of Hogwarts were now able to defeat Death Eaters because of that protection he gave them
Really beautiful clips you selected, and balanced so well against each other and with the lyrics in the background. I was especially emotional seeing the sequence of Dumbledore powerfully protecting Harry over and over- clearly Not just keeping him safe “like a pig for slaughter.”💜
I don't know why but Sir Michael Gambon's death news reminded me of this beautiful edit. Raising a toast to this wonderfully talented actor who entertained us for soo many years with his dedication towards acting. RIP /*
