I want to thank you Anna. Your playing is so uplifting. I cooked a terrible dinner tonight and was still hungry and so I rested on my sofa for 5 min. before going out to a restaurant. I clicked onto your video by chance and was so enchanted by your sublime romantic playing that my hunger pain went away. You played Chopin waltz as I'd not heard gracefully done before. Anna, every time you put your fingers on the keyboard it brings teardrops in my eyes! You make these difficult Concertos and Sonatas and Nocturns seems so easy! It's your dedication of years and years of practice that has brought you to where you are. In short your performances are absolutely stunning and I have never missed your performances. Thank you for bringing so much of Joy to people all over the world in this difficult times we are experiencing. Lastly as usual this recital was magnificent!

Please, let Anna be an ambassador of great piano music, she will (like her father, see "Schumann Tribute") be a perfect introducer and companion in our way to better understanding of piano music. I like her words about this Chopin pieces. And so I can see in front of me a series of TV-productions with Anna as a loving and caring introductor for all of us. (No, I am not a TV producer!) Just a suggestion.

I'm a former Marine, macho hunter and fisher type. When I listen and watch Anna Federova play Chopin on my huge screen TV and awesome surround system.... I feel a glow all over me, I start to feel warm and get body chills, i get butterflies in my stomach, my heart starts to quiver and ache, and tears gush out of my eyes. Is this normal or am I nuts?
There are many ways to be good as a musician. Emotional Expression is something I really appreciate, and Anna channels her emotion through her music so powerfully. So enjoyable to listen to.

Your performance of Chopin’s 2nd piano concerto with the Northwest German Philharmonic was so captivating that I did not realise until halfway through that it was a string orchestra only.
