I love Paul Georges game. It's so smooth yet powerful when he needs to be. Amazing handles at his size. What I love about his handles is that they are not superfluous they have intent. Every dribble, every hesitation is just a means to a bucket. Love watching this guy play.
Paul George has potential to be the top 5 players in the nab right now but the inconsistency spoils it
PG13 is a killer in the playoffs. People forget this man took the 4th seed Clippers to the WCF in the 2021 playoffs without Kawhi Leonard.

I love PG. Grew up a Pacers fan and he was the reason why I really got heavily into bball.
Didn’t grow up as a pacer fan but his run with Stephenson and Hibbert is what got me into watch the NBA, that was a magical season

God damn I’m old. Love PG too and got to see him play hundreds of times live center court row 9-11, but those seats started in 87-88 Reggie’s Miller rookie year when I was in 1st grade!
Same I’m a lifetime Heat fan but Reggie was one of my favorites as a kid so I kinda like seeing the Pacers do well (except against us) Jermaine O’Neal, Granger, and PG became some of my favorite players

Huge respect for PG! He's been on a lot of good teams and that Pacers team was incredibly fun to watch. Him admitting that he doesn't have to be the #1 guy is a very mature thing to admit that a lot of people at the same caliber would probably never say
I know it's probably incredibly difficult to get people in the same room, HOWEVER.... Getting people all in the same room really does enhance the show. It changes the dynamic, makes it feel more personal and less of an interview.
It's really great that you shouted out Thinking Basketball. I'm a fan of their channel and thoroughly enjoy their content. I was actually thinking what it would be like if you were invited as a guest on their podcast. That would be some incredibly high level basketball talk! Hope it happens🤞🏼

Didn’t know PG was such a thoughtful, humble dude. Don’t know if I woulda watched his podcast beforehand but I’m looking forward to it now. I hope it’s like All the Smoke where he doesn’t have ti be the interviewer all the time but will have open discussion with people that just have mutual interest in having a conversation about basketball and whatever his other personal interests are too. @@hurricanes___6982 T-Mac takes it. George is great but McGrady's peak in '03 was MVP level and he was playing in a very different league (pre-2005 rules).
PG and Tmac are very similar, both are smooth, both have a good IQ, both are Clutch, Tmac a better scorer and PG a better Defender, but there footwork and shot difficulty making are real similar and there both athletic, both deal with major career injuries.

I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast, as I do every single week. PG is just such a humble and down to earth guy,. Absolutely loved listening to his perspective; you guys do such a great job in getting people to be so transparent and candid when talking about their past. The only thing I wish you'd asked PG more about is Russell Westbrook, given his importance to PG's best season in OKC, how he left him to go to LA and then finally vouching for him to be signed by the Clippers. Nonetheless, immensely enjoyed this podcast. :)

Mad respect for the shout out to Big Al Jefferson. Dude was an absolute monster. Little known fact but he avg 42 ppg 18rpg like 6apg and 7 or 8 bpg in high school. When he became a 25 and 10 guy in the league I was not surprised.

I remember the battles in the playoffs PG and Bron had from like 2013-2017 some of the most memorable moments of the 2010s
King George vs King James I remember those, that pacers team was awesome, David West was my favorite player during that era.
2013 and 2014. LeBron was in Cleveland again by 2015.

PG really like that fr handles nasty as hell for his size, smooth shoot from the 3 from the 2 and can get to the basket also was a really good defender in his prime. I miss him on my OKC team.
Glad to see everyone giving PG his flowers NOW. Still remember all of the hate he used to get when he was on OKC. I understand he didn’t take accountability on certain things during those playoff runs, but dude is a straight hooper.
Podcasts are great because they allow athletes to go at their pace while also not including the lame narratives reporters push. I’m glad athletes can find a way to speak on what they find is important about the game rather than answering stupid questions that cause them to shut down and seem annoyed.
I do t know if you read comments, but I’d love to see a POD with Nekias Duncan. He’s not a current or former player, but he’s got a basketball mind that would blend extremely well with this shows flow and content

Yess - thank you, I'm not crazy! Kawhi is the closest to MJ right next to Kobe. Getting to his spots, shooting - a lot of MJ vibes there.
He's like a combination of Jordan and Pippen with a dash of Dr. J due to those Freddy Krueger sized hands of his.
We could call him the closest thing to Kobe I’m the mid range. But he seems like a monster in his own right. He’s much bigger than those two guys too
@@ajhenderson370 You would be surprised. He's taller than Jordan but MJ was probably stronger. Artest said he had the strength of a SF and that was in the early 2000s when he was with the Wizards and SFs were bulkier on average than they are now.

What I would add: the way his jumper looks like. Obviously Mike was jumping higher but look at the shooting hand.
