@@monikapiasecka-jarzabek7616 I already looked up the Asharl Panthers Before you answered and I also thought the same thing about that dude being a Vurk when I first Saw him through another gameplay I just needed confirmation If that dude was a Vurk or not which like I said I thought it was when I first saw him but why did mess up the design for the Vurk people? that Vurk Dude Looked Kinda Off

You do realize that if you keep using the voice synthesizer for those videos, you are going against the point you made in your AI VA video rant? We both believe that voice actors should be fairly compensated. Yet, did you ask those voice actors if you can use their voices for this? If not, then you infringed on them by making those videos. Consent is also an important factor in the point you were making, not only the compensation part. As for VAs their job is an art form, and it looses meaning if they can be swapped for a machine. Even if you don't get any compensation for it, it's still an infringement, as those VAs didn't give consent. Maybe your videos will not spark an online controversy like Star Wars Theory's fanmade movie did with deep faking Mark Hammil, but it still goes against the point you were making as you continue to use voices of VAs to create content.
You're right, and I'm not happy that I have to do this so I don't read subtitles. I think I'll replace it with a different voice in the next videos, but I have no idea if it should be completely different? The thing is, I make these videos both to listen to and to watch, and I mostly listen to them when I'm doing something else. But yes, I'm not going to replace them with these actors anymore because it's not right.
Now after many hours of working with a voice generator (BG3), I can now honestly say - there is no chance that this thing will replace voice actors. I discussed with my friends about the use of cloned voices and most of them are of the opinion that when I make fan art I can use it in the same way as someone who draws game characters and doesn't ask the authors of the drawing design if they can. At least I don't sell my stuff on etsy.

I'm a fanfiction writer and an artist myself so I know. Using someone's voice is different. Book I wrote is not part of my body no matter how strongly attached I'm to it or how much of my soul I poured into it. My voice however IS. My face IS. Using AI to clone someone's voice or face without their permission is violation of their bodily autonomy. (That's why in my previous comment I highlighted that CONSENT is also important factor here). When you make fanart of an in-game character it doesn't because they're not real, they don't have bodily autonomy to speak of, but if it's a character from a game or animated show, then there is always a real person behind them who may not wish for their voice to be cloned. Anyway, unless your friends are all Voice Actors or something I think their opinion doesn't matter. Because what ultimately matters is the stance of VAs and VA community. And if they say it's fine then we can then accept it as fine because they are the group that is in the know and they decide what is and isn't harmful to them. Not me, not my friends, not other content creators. (And so far they didn't say it's fine, they said the actual opposite). Even if AI voice cloning is trash and can never be as good as real actor, the capitalist society won't care. They will still try to exploit people, and our job is to force them to start treating VAs and other artists in media industry with respect, so they would at least feel obligated to talk to the actors about it and adhere to actors' wishes and guidelines. But we can't do that with a straight face if we keep ourselves doing stuff that the people in question asked us not to do.

They just protest more quietly than the voice actors. I just don't know what to do with this new update. There is so little voiced content that I feel like adding a completely new voice to the whole thing.
