Looking for the score? As you are aware, pipe bands around the world have been hit hard by the coronavirus outbreak. As a band that relies almost completely on performance revenue and highland games prize monies, the Keith Highlanders Pipe Band has been significantly impacted this year. Rather than publish or otherwise sell the piping and drumming scores created by our band members, we have made the decision to offer The Sound of Silence sheet music as a “thank you” gift--for a limited time--to anyone who makes a donation to the band. Your donation will help us continue to fulfill our mission of preserving Scottish culture and traditional piping and drumming in the Pacific Northwest area of the United States. To donate, simply visit www.khpb.org/support/ and click on the yellow “Donate” button to be directed to our Paypal donation page. Be sure to include your email address in the note, and once we receive notification of your donation, we will mail you a PDF containing the scores for pipes, sides, tenor, and bass.
I’m from one of Utah’s school pipe bands and we got this music this week, it was so much fun to start to learn! I can’t wait to play this for like a concert or parade!
Great stuff!!! I live in Cornwall, Ontario and will so missing the Glengarry Highland Games next weekend. So sad. Only fourth time missing it in my 60 years. See everyone next year. Slanche!
OH MY GRACIOUS 😳😲😳!!! That was the most AMAZING thing I've ever seen or heard🤩😍!!! I had the "goosebumps" the whole way through while listening. Thank you ever so much ❤️❤️💕💖. ☺️🤗🤭😘
I was sitting doing my tax return and drinking wine while listening to music and this just showed up in my playlist. I thought, fuck it why not? I ended up watching the whole video and really enjoyed it! Thank you Rogues! You made my Saturday night more enjoyable! 🍷🥰
Play this a few times a week because when pandemic struck and i was worried for my family i was terrified of not seeing loved ones again. Still brings a tear to my eye
What a great arangement. Lovely harmonies, and when the band falls in it gave me goosebumps. Well done, and hopefully you will share this tune with us. Greetings from the Lowland Brigade Pipe Band, city of Zwolle , the Netherlands
Wow I'm.... I'm stunned, that's the only word I can find to express my feelings when hearing this. I never thought Sound of Silence could be so beautiful that my mouth literally would fall open halfway through
This is so great! You guys nailed the harmonies. Love how it starts with piano, 2 pipes a snare and then grows into the full band. I hope you guys are working on more!!
I used to doodle pipe adaptations like that in my music theory class, back in the 80's when I played with y'all in PM McGillvary and Martin's glorious days. Still writing music.
I recently discovered this, and would like my band to play it as well. I tried to donate to get the music but i kept on telling me error page not found?

Fabulous. Sorry it's still called a "pandemic". But this is beautiful and I blasted it in my house just now. Gonna share. Awesome job folks! If you all plan to wear matching outfits next time, nobody might notice you're not together...... but actually......... you still are ;-)
Listened to this so much, what an absolute amazing achievement. Absolutely hand on heart has to be the best version. I hope you all so proud of this. Thank you for your hard work and giving me the privilege of experiencing this. Love to you all. Xxx
Oh there seems to be some dust in my eye!!! That was amazing! Thanks for sharing this, properly inspirational. The tuning alone to get everyone’s individual parts right is stunning and particularly love the way that the drummers are all watching the leading tip despite being recorded separately. Great stuff. Starting to practice again now post-Covid but haven’t worked up to the pipes yet.
Amazing. Thank you for sharing. We in the highland Games community are all missing this year’s events. This is a beautiful arrangement and performance. It captures the year’s reverie perfectly. Stay healthy... Stay Gold
Y'all hit another one outta the park! Wow! I see there are still a couple of folks fumbling as they practice birls, and accidentally hitting the 'thumbs down". Come on folks, try a little harder, and you really could be as good as these guys, but the key is good practice!
This is a wonderful rendition of "The Sound of Silence," by the Keith Highlanders Pipe Band. I love the sound of the bagpipes. They reach into my heart and stir my soul. If you don't like the pipes, give this a listen. It might just change your mind.
I'm amazed I have just seen and heard this!! I just sent a donation and would love the score. I'm still fairly new and may never be able to play it but I like to collect sheet music.
