+Florian Himsl I'm pretty sure that was, apart from the Eternal D6 part, almost wholly a joke. At least judging from his reply to your comment, the fact that he pinned/'loved' it, and the little subtitle at the bottom.
Florian Himsl It's very cool, but I just had to poke fun at you. And yes I did see the new game! All I'll say is it looks incredible so far. I'm sold because mice are adorable.
Just for fun I decided to see how these items are in Repentance compared to their Antibirth equivalents. Book of Despair: didn't make the cut for Repentance so it shall forever be a relic of Antibirth and Community Remix Luna: Has the old effect, but also reveals one secret room on the map and gives all of the secret rooms a beam of light that grants a half soul heart and a stackable cap breaking tears up for the duration of the floor (first beam gives +1 tears up, the other three beams give +0.5 tears up). The Luna buff gives what was "Fragmented Moon on steroids the item" actual value for a run with the soul hearts and temporary tears buffs. The Eraser: Now can be used once per floor instead of once per run, and deals 15 damage to bosses while erasing the boss if the Eraser lands a fatal blow. The Repentance changes here really bring out more of the potential that Eraser was showing but couldn't utilize in Antibirth. Adding the ability to erase bosses as well is a neat bonus. Venus: Has the old effect but also gives an HP up when picked up. Repentance Venus has more value for a run long term with the red heart but plays the same otherwise. Meat Cleaver: Was buffed to a two room cooldown, and can now split enemies in a room multiple times (normal enemies can be split twice, champions and bosses can be split three times, and trying to split enemies that can't split anymore deals 25 damage to them instead). Being able to split things multiple times is a funny, albeit niche, addition but doesn't solve the main conundrum the item had in Antibirth. Consolation Prize: it's the same Eternal D6: Was buffed to a two room cooldown and was given to the Lost as a starting item but is otherwise the same as Antibirth. Stone Bombs/Rocket in a Jar: Stone Bombs didn't make it into Repentance, so I'll mainly be talking about Rocket in a Jar. Rocket in a Jar was changed to only fire a rocket if you press the bomb button while also pressing a firing input. This one change makes the item way more takable as the player now has more control over whether they want to fire a rocket or use a normal bomb. The Scooper: Using the Scooper gives 34% more damage for shots from Isaac's right eye for one room, and the Scooper creates one additional Peeper for each use after the first if used multiple times in the same room. The Scooper is still not great, but the damage boost makes it at least useable until you find a better active item. Lil Dumpy: He's still a random fart boi, but with four synergies now instead of three(Ghost Pepper and Bird's Eye make Isaac shoot a fire behind him when Lil Dumpy is hit). whooooooooo edit as of 7/20/22: Lil Dumpy is actually good now! He was reworked to follow Isaac and fart whenever Isaac is about to take a hit, protecting Isaac with the fart knockback. Lil Dumpy will zoom around the room for a bit before coming to a rest after a fart, and Isaac will have to retrieve him to have the protection again in the same active room. The fart also does 10 damage to any enemy that is pushed into a wall or obstacle by it. While Lil Dumpy isn't going to be a perfect one item get out of jail free card the way the Holy Mantle is due it providing no protection against beams, it is still a very solid defense item that will make general play in most of the game and bullet hell endgame bosses an easier time (just don't expect this thing to do you as much good against things like the Vis family, the holy eyes in Cathedral, or the brimstone grimaces in Sheol).
PentaHybrid Yeah, But Its Something, Also Question, What's Your Favorite Antibirth Item Mine's Rock Bottom (Beat Boss Rush As Jacob And Esau) The Item Makes Soy Milk God Like As It Prevents Your Stats From Being Lowered, So Ultimate Synergy Polyphemus + Eve's Mascara + Soy Milk + Spectral Tears + Every Range Up + Rock Bottom = Infinite Death Death Ray
Dorian King Very true. Sometimes reaching for a good synergy is worth it. I can't answer that because I am working on the video now. You'll have to watch it when it comes out. Lol
GreedyRadish I like the Consolation Prize idea, but the cool down on cleaver could just end up silly. Maybe just a solid one room charge. Could you imagine a chest room with 30 micro-Gurdy Jr's?
Similarly, I think the Scooper could be really good if it had a single-room cooldown. Then it would combo well with items like the Habit or the 9 Volt.
GreedyRadish I like an idea another commenter had. The suggested making the Scooper work like Potato Peeler and just create multiple Peeper eyes across rooms at an HP cost.
That would be cool. It could even add a slight damage boost to the eye that is removed (similar to the way Blood Clot and Chemical Peel work) since Potato Peeler gives a Range and Damage boost.
* make a run, get overpowered, wish to make the third and last puzzle to get the last knife piece on first try * * lil dummy farts * * destroy fires * * ragequit *
consolation prize is much better than like 50% of all boss drops, _because_ it only increases your lowest stat, and if you're anything like me, I'd rather get a tears up than another range or damage up when I've got enough of those. I feel the eternal d6 is supposed to be more of a joke. stone/rocket bombs are cool items that are hard to use. It's like bob's brain- mot a bad item, unless you're also bad. ....Don't be mean to lil dumpy!!!!!
RealityMasterRogue Consolation Prize more often than not gives me range or shot speed ups. I've never gotten a tears up from it. You are trying to argue with RNG, not a good idea. Lol Eternal D6 was a callback, yes. But still not something I like. As I said in the video,I dislike the bomb items because they are easy to forget I have. And it forces me to put my attention elsewhere. Still good though, just not for me. And hell with Lil' Dumpy, I'll be mean to him all I want. I'd rather have Holy Water. Haha
I completely agree with Lil' Dumpy. The lil' shit maker ruined a run I had when trying to get to the Corpse. I had the first two puzzles complete, amazing items, and Lil' Dumpy was working out for me... UNTIL I GOT TO THE LAST PUZZEL ROOM, THE ONE WITH THE FIRE. THAT LIL' SHIT FARTED ON THEM AND RUINED THE WHOLE PUZZLE. I WAS SO CLOSE.
Eternal D6 is still not useless, you wouldn't reroll an item you want, would you? If I find, say, mega bean in an item room, and I have the eternal D6, I'm gonna reroll it, because I don't care if it goes away, I don't want the item.
I know this video is super old, but I adore the new Repentance Lil Dumpy. That some of a gun saved me at least 15 times during Mom's Heart boss fight and yes I am new to the game. I had little damage as I got mostly hp and familiars instead of straight damage and him farting away enemies and projectiles if you're milliseconds from being hit is amazing. how do you recharge him? go touch him wherever he farted himself to even if its within a second. amazing follower now.
Meat cleaver isn't that bad if you can flood the room with decently damaging tears, or a good effect. The best example of Meat cleaver's usefulness is with Soy milk, the parasite/cricket's body, and 20/20 or any multiple tear effect.
The creators of the mod messed up 'rocket in a jar' completly! Instead of replacing the player's placable bombs with rockets (which require you to shoot in the direction you wanna shoot the rocket), they should've made it so the player fires rocket tears (basically a potentially better version of ipecac, without the poison effect), which in my opinion would've made more sense. The only time I would pick this item up would be by curse of the blind, while having the D4 ready (and yes, I would use the D4 once I picked 'rocket in a jar' right away, because it just ruins the bombs, and makes it so the player cannot blow rocks up to fill gaps up in the middle of the room).
@@metalandmagic1424 are you dumb? It gives damage ups for every Stat down pill you take, and black hearts for all the other bad pills that don't affect your stats. It's insanely good.
Stone bombs are OP when you get pyromaniac because every spike square(look closely at the spikes, they are squares) heals you. EVERY SINGLE SQUARE. So yeah, the other items, uhhh, hmmmm....
Luna isn't exactly that bad, since in Antibirth there is an item named Rock Bottom, which would normally bring all your stats back to the start, and only grant Stat upgrades for the rest of the run, but there is a bug that causes your stats to stay the same, it's really OP with items such as Mega Mushroom since the huge damage boost you get from it is permanent, but it's VERY rare, as it can only be found in Secret rooms or with a really small change from Tinted rocks
I came for a list of bad items, like items that can fuck your run up a la soymilk. If anything most of these were boring like you said, but most of them actually good.
Zen Deras Soy Milk is the best synergy item in the game. It synergizes well with just about every item, especially with the combo of Rubber Cement and Ipecac.
The eraser I wish that thing can remove item so I can remove bob bloody brain from my perfect run well at least the enternal d6 can help me with that thing but with only 60%
m8, this mod comes packed with missing hud, so alot of players would know what consolation prize boosted. not saying it's amazing, just that new payers would play with missing hud, and would know what stat increased. unless they dont know there is a missing hud in the mod
Pascl That wasn't the point though. The point is that it's a single plus one. And my point on the algorithm has nothing to do with Missing HUD, it has to do with how each stat scales differently.
If only Book of despair was in Afterbirth + Then if you get Bookworm, You could have a good amount of 20/20 (comple that with Perfection and you have a pretty decent item)
Jack Crack These take sometimes dozens of hours to make. And I had their permission to use it because I was on a tight schedule. Not my fault I have thousands of people pressuring me.
quite a good list, though i'd of put the missiles on their own. how do the tears move? in the direction you're facing and stop when they contact a wall. how do missiles move? move in the direction you're and explodes when they contact a wall. they're just explosive tears that use bombs.

I agree with basically everything here except for the stone bombs/rocket in a jar tie. I actually think stone bombs is a really good item since it still gives you the placed bomb, and if you're paying attention you'll be able to see that your bomb is a rock and remember to get out of the way while the quake effect does its thing. ROCKET IN A JAR CAN GO FUCK ITSELF. Every time I pick it up I think "I can manage this, I'll remember I have it this time!" only to damage myself up to 10 times a run forgetting I have it and standing next to a wall, and let's not forget the occasions when you want to bomb something in the middle of the room but the rocket just flies right past it and hits a wall.
the Planetary Items has it's names based on the Roman Deitys on which we named the planets, Quicksilver (Mercury), Venus (Aphrodite), Terra (Gea), Mars (Ares), Jupiter (Zeus), Saturn (Cronus), Uranus (this is Greek, you only had one job. William Herschel...), Neptune (Poseidon), and Pluto (Hades).
@@gustavogodoy9626 I know this video is old, but actually most of the names you listed are the names of the Greek deitys and have their Roman counterpart's name as the items.
I feel the Eternal D6 needs a buff, because, Why would I prefer The E D6 over The D6? Half charge, but, If I doesn't want to wait that long, I can just get an item which generates bateries, like 48 Hours Energy pill, Fanny Pack, a Recharge Station, etc. I could find it more usefull, if it have 1 room charge, if it rerolls only to Special items or rerolls to Breakfast if failled to...
I sometimes find an item said the tick and what it says it that it's not coming off and what it does is that I can't get a trinkit for the hole run. I hate that item
Other than the bomb items, for my own reasons and play style heavily working with items like Dr. Fetus whenever I can, I cant help but agree with this list. I haven't fully played through Antibirth due to some issues with uninstalling AB and AB+, but from what I DID play of it, this list seems very accurate for choices. Shame people give you so much slack over an opinion though. Eh, that's just TH-cam I guess. People don't realise content creators are actually people most of the time.
KuruCross_MK That's why I had to point out that the bomb items actually are super good. I just can't be trusted with them. Haha! And it is just the internet being the internet. Nothing we can fix.
The Eraser in Afterbirth+ however would be nicer since I'd happily pay 15 cents to get rid of the voids for the run (albeit you get the most use out of that you would want it fairly early on, when ideally you want stat ups)
PentaHybrid I know that, and what I meant was if you bury it deep in your heart containers then you will have to lose a lot of health. but I do agree with it being a great item
this is IAMPIE Very true, but it's damage I return for the HP. Not every run is good for it, and I've died several times due to it. But when it works it is super good.
PentaHybrid yeah that is a reason why I can see it not being on this list but in my opinion I think it worked best in community remix because there was no health cap.
Wasnt the death with a zombie heart a bug thogh? If it fixed Blood Oath is one of the best items imo, if you can manage half red health and half spirit health
(these arent in order) 1. magic skin, ruins item pools and heart cap 2. alabaster block, paying a ton of sould hearts for a single angel item is horrible. 3. black mushroom, intresting, but proves way less useful than thought as the tears up only lasts 1 room 4. stitches, never found a good use for the item, i can see its potential though. 5. lost soul, "lets add an isaacs heart that dies in 1 hit, and rewards you with soul hearts and rarely items if you escort it trough the floor!" 6. almond milk, a worse version of soy milk. 7. scooper, no need to explain 8. fortune cookie, you usually have a better space bar already, its kinda useless. 9. red stew, from shop for 15 cents, get a dmg boost for 2 minutes, YAY! 10. dirty mind, its a useful item when you find it in your first item room, after that, you can kill enemies with tears faster than your shit can hug them
Glowner You're really not going to like my Top 10 Best list, lol. Some of the items do far more than your saying, but I understand they are a bit niche.
i like dirty mind, if only for the not as rare as you think occasion where you can get tons and tons of different types of poop (btw, corny dips spawn blue flies, red dips deal more damage but disappear so you dont cheese it, golden poops can give you golden dips which basically have midas touch- freezing and money, and rainbow dips charm and have a chance to drop a half red heart!)
Eternal D6 with huge luck is a 3 charge regular D6. at least that's how it works with perfection. not a single item lost. tho I usually lose my perfection unless I'm lost... still possibly my favourite trinket with luck based items
rocket bombs and stone bombs are great items, if you die by them, it's your own fault, really. no point in putting them in the "bad item list" if they're not "bad items".
so the number 4 no reason to pick it up isaac starts with a D6 if you have an item worthy of swapping it for the D6 theres no reason swapping that for it
Why put Luna in this top10? Secret rooms in AnB values much more than in original. Consolation prize is also not bad. I would rather list booster pack in this top10 since it never generate runes, only cards, while it occupies a slot in shop item pool.
if someone takes the bloat over something, either it's batshit horrible or they are completley insane and deserve to go to a asylum. i just can't decide which it is though...
RePUSstaX XD I've done Top 10 Hardest/Easiest bosses before Afterbirth came out, that are on the channel. I'll keep that one in mind though. Those ones are hard to write though.
I think a good way to buff Consolation Prize and make it less terrible would be to have it double your lowest stat, or at least raise it more significantly. Maybe take range out of the equation, too. Nobody really likes range upgrades.
See the thing with the item is that if it only offered something else. Anything else. I'd take a bomb and key drop with the stat boost over just a random stat up.
Alright I know I am late as hell on this one but...what about the items that felt well pointless, without worth, even with the worst items you could still get some use out of them, but I mean the items that it takes the god send of RNG to get the item that these would pair with or combo with
Not objectively good. Brimstone can ruin great synergies, some people don't like charge items, etc. Cricket's Head is great, but some people don't like it. I know some of them, Lol (not me, it's my favorite item). And Magic Mush is an HP up with no tears increase. HP upgrades are able to ruin certain effects such as Polaroid, Whore of Babylon, and Negative.
"i didn't like this item because i didn't get it when i wanted to get it" - his explanation for why he dislikes half the fricken things on this list. that or "its just meh" even though it sounds decent.
Matter of perspective. And you misunderstand then. It's not about getting it at the wrong time. It's about how rare it can be useful. "Getting it when I wanted it" is basically me saying "Yeah, it's only useful in a few circumstances. And those rarely happen". At the end of the day, it's my personal view/opinion on things. Whether I think something is "meh" is no concern to you, feel free to like what you want. I don't expect everyone to agree.
What if the consolation prize had a consolation prize had a consolation prize had a consolation prize had a consolation prize had a consolation prize had a consolation prize
Rocket in a Jar is terrible, yes. However, rock bombs are fairly easy to avoid fucking up with and kill far more enemies/destroy way more rocks than normal bombs. Lil' Dumpy has saved me from a lot of deaths already, I wouldn't really say it's bad enough to be first, but whatever.
I wouldn't underestimate the erasor.. You just need to use it on the right monster.. Something that always appears over all floors and is STILL capable of randomly hitting you no matter how skilled you are.. I don't even have to say it, do I... SPIDERS... Also, you're shitting on consolation prize because it's "boring"?.. Is this a top 10 worst or a top 10 least-exciting items?.. As for the eternal D6, it feels like a sibling of the crooked penny.. But the crooked penny was offering an effect that you couldn't get in useable-item form, at the risk of erasing an item.. But with the eternal D6, the D6 already exists, so the item just feels like a waste to even use.. It would, if it wasn't what you were currently holding and you were staring at an item pedestal holding a use-item you didn't want.. So it does at least hold some use as a possible item-changer, that you only want to use on items you don't mind just not getting.. And it "is" balanced slightly with the halved recharge time, making it more of a quick frantic "I really want an item that's NOT THIS ONE, I don't care if it's erased" scenario.. Stone bombs/rocket-in-a-jar - .... That's literally just you being an idiot.. You're stomping an item because you forget you have it and it hurts you.. Have you ever legitimately beaten the suicide king challenge? The scooper - It's a 3-room charge peeper's eye, that leaves a damaging trail of blood.. Get your fucking facts straight.. The peeper/this item also deals impressive contact damage, and can block enemies shots, so yeah, I'd say that's at least a somewhat-decent use-item to have, early in the game.
Book of despair is a little on the boring side so I can see where you are coming from, though I also see the benefits. Luna sounds awesome, but I also don't understand the concept you mentioned for getting it. Eternal D6 doesn't seem nearly as bad as you are making it out to be. To be honest, I think the scooper is one of the worst items in the whole series if we chose to include fan made stuff.
Ok then. I didn't mean to make it sound like I was legitimately upset. That must suck to be doing something for comedy and having people think you're being serious.
fuck you too you bitch! you can't handle the eternal Edition!
Florian Himsl I love ya, buddy. I do. Call it criticism out of love, Lol.
...but still, not a fan of the ED6. Lol
what's more risk vs reward than a d6 that has a chance to reroll to nothing.
btw did you see my new upcoming game poor mouse?
Florian Himsl u cant reroll pyro

"There is no objectively bad items"
*The Bean*
🦈
Gui Shark The Bean isn't "objectively" bad. Learn the difference between subjective and objective. It still had uses and benefits.
What's the benefit of carrying The Bean around? I genuinely think the only purpose of The Bean is for the Beans! Challenge.
Gui Shark Because if it's the only option, it's better to use it than be a stubborn ass and not use it.
At least in Antibirth The Butter Bean and Black Bean are pretty strong items when you have the Giant Bean trinket.
If the eraser was in Afterbirth+ i would throw it to the portal lol
HELL YES!!!!! XD
Most of the rooms would be empty. LAWL! ;P
i would on bonys
Peter Alves Throw it on a spider on any version of the game and you're set.
I think flies would be better than spiders personally, even if there are multiple variants so they won't all go..

I think Consolation Prize should be a trinket and Cleaver should have a 15-20 sec. cooldown, similar to Candle and Boomerang.

That thing ruined one of my runs of getting the last knife piece too. Have to redo the puzzle. Glad I don't have to do it over and over again.
i did all the puzzles first try luckily so i have not had to suffer that
i ran into a fire and i had theIT HURTS item with ipecac tears

I honestly don't know how and where the Scooper got it's right to exist.

Edplosion Scooper is not too bad, better than other activez
Blake Blast While it has no real negatives, the item is a three room charge of another permanent passive. Kind of silly.

I like how all of these items are actually fun and I would never be disappointed in getting them in a run (except for the d6 one and lil dumpy).
Seeing Cricket's head turned down for an ice cream scoop makes me cringe
Rocket in a jar + Dr. Fetus + sad bombs + brimstone
= lag
+ scatter bombs + rubber cement
=issac.exe was stoped working
"there are no objectively bad items"
BUTTER BEAN
Wait, What?
Tiny planet
The False PHD coming in Repentance is literally objectively bad.
It has ZERO upsides
@@metalandmagic1424 are you dumb? It gives damage ups for every Stat down pill you take, and black hearts for all the other bad pills that don't affect your stats. It's insanely good.
"No objectively bad items"
Me:*laughs in whybirth bonesaw*
Now I don't want to be THAT guy buuut....
I never expected this many likes...
whybirth is
whybirth
Zen Deras I like Soy Milk. And it couldn't be on the list anyway as it's not an Antibirth original.
I like soy milk too, it synergizes with items that changes your tears
Zen Deras Soy Milk is the best synergy item in the game. It synergizes well with just about every item, especially with the combo of Rubber Cement and Ipecac.
Lil' Dumpy saved me once as the Lost :P
I got cornered by a Monster and Lil' Dumpy saved me from it :P
Probably not a big deal, but it happened.
The eraser I wish that thing can remove item so I can remove bob bloody brain from my perfect run well at least the enternal d6 can help me with that thing but with only 60%
All i have to say, you have to have bad items to make a game fun, you shouldn't have to always get good items its about mixing skill and luck
XD the footages are from syncer right?
:u
myhiddenangels Some of the clips used were from their channel. Not all though.Only items I had no footage of.
m8, this mod comes packed with missing hud, so alot of players would know what consolation prize boosted.
not saying it's amazing, just that new payers would play with missing hud, and would know what stat increased. unless they dont know there is a missing hud in the mod
Pascl That wasn't the point though. The point is that it's a single plus one. And my point on the algorithm has nothing to do with Missing HUD, it has to do with how each stat scales differently.
I guess i'm really bad at listening
Pascl No, just interpreted it differently. No big deal. Lol
I really don't have a good awnser to awnser you so i'm just gonna say okay lol.
okay.
XD or something
"wait a minute..." VIDEO BUFFERS FOR A MINUTE
If only Book of despair was in Afterbirth + Then if you get Bookworm, You could have a good amount of 20/20 (comple that with Perfection and you have a pretty decent item)
So... the Eraser is a Scroll of Genocide from NetHack, with the serial numbers filed off? It can be used to genocide annoying enemies (e.g. Stoneys).
I know someone else has probably already said this, but
"Imagine Experimental Treatment, but bad!"
So, experimental treatment?
The best parts of the video is when he uses Syncer's footage because then it shows the item at its full potential.
Jack Crack These take sometimes dozens of hours to make. And I had their permission to use it because I was on a tight schedule. Not my fault I have thousands of people pressuring me.
Nothing I meant was in an ill way. Just letting you know that I wasn't hiding the usage of their footage. Lol
Such a great video, keep it up :)
Snakey Thank you and I will try!
most annoying enemies in the binding of isaac (rebirth/antibirth/afterbirth/afterbirth+
Ooooh, that's a tough one. I wouldn't count Antibirth because it isn't official, but it could be a separate selection.
Standard spiders. (Or are they more so for most op enemies?)
the Knight, and Cod Worm monsters
THE PORTALS!!!!!!!!! GOTTA HATE THEM GOD DAMNM PIECES OF SHIT PORTALS
7:11 that footage just hurt... May Cricket forgive you 😅
Eraser seems great imagine no spiders for a whole run
quite a good list, though i'd of put the missiles on their own.
how do the tears move? in the direction you're facing and stop when they contact a wall.
how do missiles move? move in the direction you're and explodes when they contact a wall.
they're just explosive tears that use bombs.
if you look at book of despair I feel as if it needed a character to start with it because it's just book of belial but altered
"Imagine experimental treatment, but really fucking bad." Soooo... experimental treatment?

In my opinion, Book of Despair is good, It just _double_ your dmg.
They buffed the eraser to recharge per floor
most of these got buffed
Wait what would happen if you threw the eraser at the witness would he be insta-killed or would that phase be taken out
FUN FACT
Terra and Luna are Earth and Moon in italian
Edit 1:Wait...Oh my god
GREED BUTT CONFIRMED
Probably "latín" wich is simillar to italian and spanish
the Planetary Items has it's names based on the Roman Deitys on which we named the planets, Quicksilver (Mercury), Venus (Aphrodite), Terra (Gea), Mars (Ares), Jupiter (Zeus), Saturn (Cronus), Uranus (this is Greek, you only had one job.
I like the concept of the Eraser, I see it borrowing the idea of the Scroll of Genocide from NetHack.
0:28 Whats the name of the music? its so good
Zarya Outside the Fold
The meat cleaver is extremely good late game if you have any piercing shot. You can basically do double damage if you hit both of them.
I think it says something about this mod that most of the items on this list are things that I still don't mind at all getting.
The Eraser in Afterbirth+ however would be nicer since I'd happily pay 15 cents to get rid of the voids for the run (albeit you get the most use out of that you would want it fairly early on, when ideally you want stat ups)
Nano Tenko Couldn't agree more. Someone mod this crossover.
What was the music used in the intro to Antibirth?
7:11 imagine talling about how bad an item is and picking it up instead of cricket's head
The eraser can be used on walking hosts tho
Rocket in a Jaw has some op synergies tbh
Lil'Dumpy - the best Altar Fodder for Devil/Angel rooms.
what about blood oath because if you have a zombie heart it will kill you
Blood Oath is a great item. You have to be more strategic than that. If it kills you, just restart and try again. Always another run.
Everyone thinks farts are useless until the enemy can use them
Consolation prize can be amazing in one situation that situation is blank card othalu and no other items except battery pack free every stats.
There are no objectively bad items:
The bean
Butter bean
Isaacs heart
AND FUCKING BREAKFAST
H u g o H e p w o r t h Look yo the word objective.
Imagine playing greed mode with antibirth turned on after it gets its afterbirth+ compatibility update, so cool!
That minute when he picks the scooper over crickets head
Ok what do I have to search to find the anti birth mod I’ve looked for like 20 minutes for it
(these arent in order)
1. magic skin, ruins item pools and heart cap
2. alabaster block, paying a ton of sould hearts for a single angel item is horrible.
3. black mushroom, intresting, but proves way less useful than thought as the tears up only lasts 1 room
4. stitches, never found a good use for the item, i can see its potential though.
5. lost soul, "lets add an isaacs heart that dies in 1 hit, and rewards you with soul hearts and rarely items if you escort it trough the floor!"
6. almond milk, a worse version of soy milk.
7. scooper, no need to explain
8. fortune cookie, you usually have a better space bar already, its kinda useless.
9. red stew, from shop for 15 cents, get a dmg boost for 2 minutes, YAY!
10. dirty mind, its a useful item when you find it in your first item room, after that, you can kill enemies with tears faster than your shit can hug them
Glowner You're really not going to like my Top 10 Best list, lol. Some of the items do far more than your saying, but I understand they are a bit niche.
10 Bucks says Dirty Mind is somewhere high on the top 10 list
Glowner the alabaster box Will play out with
two items and soul Hearth if you haven't taken a devil deal yet
bokke vdbergh I know what it does, I just don't think it's worth it
i like dirty mind, if only for the not as rare as you think occasion where you can get tons and tons of different types of poop (btw, corny dips spawn blue flies, red dips deal more damage but disappear so you dont cheese it, golden poops can give you golden dips which basically have midas touch- freezing and money, and rainbow dips charm and have a chance to drop a half red heart!)
I got to agree with you on stone bombs but Rocket in a Jar+D Fetus Is Amazing Its Wow Just wow also D fetus Rocket and Ipeac is Amazing.
so the number 4 no reason to pick it up isaac starts with a D6 if you have an item worthy of swapping it for the D6 theres no reason swapping that for it
Book of Despair? More like book of Desperate to add one more item concept to the list.
Book of despair junko would like that
why would you ever reroll spoon bender
Eternal D6 is shitty because he can to eat the item.(BUT THE DAMOCLES IS BEST!)Both items are saying:WHO DOESN'T RISKS THAT SUCKS!
What about triple charge? And black hearts?
Well, this list should likely still hold up in the coming months.
Maybe do a top 10 on your favorite Bosses from Antibirth/Afterbirth
RePUSstaX XD I've done Top 10 Hardest/Easiest bosses before Afterbirth came out, that are on the channel. I'll keep that one in mind though. Those ones are hard to write though.
I think a good way to buff Consolation Prize and make it less terrible would be to have it double your lowest stat, or at least raise it more significantly. Maybe take range out of the equation, too. Nobody really likes range upgrades.
See the thing with the item is that if it only offered something else. Anything else. I'd take a bomb and key drop with the stat boost over just a random stat up.
Miles Eggworth It can give you one. Not guaranteed though.
>Top 10 worst items in Antibirth
>Gets to first place
>"Now is it the worst item in the game? No."
>Wat?
Naveication Considering there are over 340 other items not originally in Antibirth, it feels kind of self explanatory.
I wish anti birth would exist with afterbirth I mean I hate having to go back to a previous set of knowledge in order to enjoy this
Alright I know I am late as hell on this one but...what about the items that felt well pointless, without worth, even with the worst items you could still get some use out of them, but I mean the items that it takes the god send of RNG to get the item that these would pair with or combo with
'There are no good or bad anything in a game like Isaac.'
PentaHybrid
What about Magic Mushroom, Cricket's Head and Brimstone!
This isn't "top ten worst items in antibirth " it 's " top ten most usaless items in antibirth"
In my opinion, Eraser should be s 2 floor recharge. That way, it's more practical.
Doctor fetus and Rocket in a jar... SO FRICKEN OP
What if the consolation prize had a consolation prize had a consolation prize had a consolation prize had a consolation prize had a consolation prize had a consolation prize
What's the difference between antibirth and after birth. And what is repentance supposed to be.
I actually like the meat cleaver and the constolation prize, rocket in a jar is shit on its own but its really good with dr fetus
The eraser is good! No more fucking walking hosts!
stone bombs + doctor/epic fetus is a pretty good synergy i think
domacules or however you spell it (the knife that hangs above you) i feel deserves a spot on this list. then again it's good/bad part is controversial
Aaron Stetts I love Damocles. Lol. Stay tuned for the Best list. But I understand that it rubs some people the wrong way.
I was half expecting Yuck Heart to be #1.
i never found planetariums do they need to be unlocked? if so how?
Get 3 "planetarium" objects in a run
Such as Crystal ball and tarot cloth and that kind of stuff
The eraser on either the stupid ghosts or the walking unbreakable skeletons!
Dan Lil' Dumpy causes more harm than good. Ever tried going for The Witness? He can (and, more than likely, will) fuck up the final puzzle.
Some Guy The Eternal D6 bit was played up in character. Old school viewers got the home, unfortunately most new people took me seriously.
Ok then. I didn't mean to make it sound like I was legitimately upset. That must suck to be doing something for comedy and having people think you're being serious.
If you don't use The Scooper item, you are a *NOSCOOPER* :D
spin around and then dont use the scooper = 360 NOSCOOPER
The eraser only erases for the floor which makes it even worse
