You’re doing exactly what I started last summer I have the same car same colour but mine is not rusty bodywork just all the parts were rusty that you Bolt on I have done everything to the back wheels and I am doing the rear end this winter you’re lucky you’ve got a ramp doing mine off Axel stands mine is all on the road I will take it off as soon as they start putting salt on the roads to do the rear end
Loving this series so far. I'd definitely say its worth doing all the icv hoses, oil separator etc whilst the intake is off. Bound to be a few air leaks considering its been sat so long
, EDD is like the main man in UK for BMW restoration and top guy to wach he knows his stuff i love him .And 1975 too 2022 what would we do without card board ,we would be knackerd without it what no template , quick love go to shops a buy me some corn flakes the jobs on hold a week .And Frank galliger slept under that bonnet or liam gallager or bob dillan .

Nice work. I have just done all that with my E36 Cab. I also took the tank out and replaced all the pipes and brake lines. It needed sills and floors too.
Well..I thought about it ages ago..but since ive found out ill have to move out i don’t want to invest even a penny in it..already wasted £5k building a office. Once ill sort my own place it will be another level 😉
@@The777Garage Every inspection II. It's PITA though. Checking is easy, replacing shims to adjust them is not unless you have a box of shims and the special tool.

Worth changing the idle control valve and hoses whilst the plenum is off
I did this, not a cheap exercise, especially when you tackle the whole cooling system too. A very satisfying job though.
