These people are not that big, the men or women. Certainly bigger than coach potatoes that think they gym hard with no discipline. In history, how many women participated in strength sports. How many women have we seen the full natural strength and muscular potential of? How many legit scientific studies have there been on women’s strength and muscular potential? Not many. A natural woman’s strength and muscle potential isn’t tied to her testosterone levels. It’s been observed that women tend to recover faster and can train more frequently. All women are difficult just as no two men are exactly the same. To judge the physiques of big athletic women based off of runway models, runners, ballerinas, etc….. is quite ignorant of humanity.

Competition speed excercising where bad technique can cause injury makes no sense, when slowly executed excercises are considered best procedure. While I respect the crossfit competitors, slowly executed excercises are considered best procedure -which is makes me wonder why they'd compete in this questionable sport because the sheer act of excercising at speed goes against sensible workout procedure.

This shows the complete inconsistency of the CrossFit competitions and quite frankly it’s trash.
I love CrossFit and do it daily, however, I left this side for these exact reasons.

Considering how much riskier other sports are like football, mma, skateboarding, etc… if competition is something people enjoy, this is a good choice for their future self.
To take it a step further, 30 seconds of that movement is less risky that a full flag football game or even a tennis match with the amount of cutting and quick movement changes.
There is always the option to sit on the couch and never compete… but many take a much higher risk to do so than these players.
