Awesome review! It's really great watching it on my TV. Love the bright white and soft lighting and all. The video shows the exact colors my eyes see looking at it in person. I have mine on display for a while and thought of trying the 3-point landing pose. I may not do it though. Does not seem to look that cool enough for the effort and risk. Wish I can post a pic here of a really nice pose I did. You might really like it.
Thanks. I just reposed mine a week or so ago as well, and put it back into the 3 point landing pose. It's in the detolf. I also put the Tony Stark head on him, and flaired out the back wing flaps. It looks cool. The hardest part of the pose is getting the legs positioned in the right kind of squat. But, if you're careful, it will be fine. Thanks for checking out the video.
Well I liked the video. Good energy and you explained this figure inside and out. A well done review I'm thinking of getting it but I can't decide between this and the mk. 43MMSD figure. Any suggestions and opinions? (I know I'd pick this if it had the articulation the 43;)
+Cdog Cdog I don't have Mark 43. But, I like the Mark III and you can even find it one sale typically ($25 coupon) on Sideshow so it becomes a $275'ish figure for Mark III vs $350 for Mark 43. That's one consideration. As for articulation, having other Hot Toys, I have to say, I don't really miss the waist articulation on the diecast figures. The best poses with Mark III have him elevated and full out accessorized, wings and everything going that looks super cool. It has that advantage over 43. But, I think both are good figures and you would not be disappointed from what I've seen of 43.
+Dan14thPrime Yea I'm pretty excited to get into the hot toys world. I've been eyeing them since 2014 when they just started upping their game for head sculpts /profiles and weathering improvements. And it's really cool I'm even MORE pumped now that I just went and saw CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR. I would of liked to get AOU HULK and Black Widow, Hawkeye, and AOU Captain America. Cap' looks even better then the new version. I like how he.had the magnetic attachment for his shield to stay on his back. From what I see the new Civil War version I have preordered he can't do that now. Or am I mistaken? Thanks for the vote of confidence though I'm hoping to get a solid figure with no issues.
