Kool Kollectibles Whaaaaaaat? :) You don't own even 1 Iron Man yet Khai? :) Crazy, they are such well manufactured figs , and this Mark III will definately justify your choice. But i understand you....looking at the upcoming Star Wars release you'll get into a new nightmare. :) I'd love to collect that line, but it will be even more neverending than Iron Man.
elalba1986 Hey, thanks! The diecast pieces are only these: the thighs, kneed and the shin guards...and maybe some small parts on the torso (the metal bars around on the upper chest). A bit of a letdown! I was so amazed at first that I totally missed on this during the review.
+xenomorph, any chance you can do a quick guide video on the shoulder gap issue plaguing this figure? Would really like emphasis on showing the figure fully hiding the gap.
Thanks for the review Andre just got mine in today haven't had a chance to inspect it everything looks great Im just surprised they made that mid section static. That's a bit of a let down all in all looks great.
This looks great! I live in Switzerland aswell and am currently still waiting for the Swisss retailer to get these. This will be my first Iron Man 1/6 scale so im glad I waited a little bit for a real nice one. Takign AGES tho...
Great video. Love your Hot Toys reviews. One question though. Which do you prefer, the IM Mark 3 Die-cast or the Avengers Age of Ultron IM Mark 43 Die-Cast?
Awesome stuff, Andre, although I'm not a fan of them recycling exclusives. I have the BD Mk III and that has a shield gauntlet function in the right wrist. I take it this one doesn't? The landing pose looks amazing and worth buying just for that!
TOOMANYFIGURES Hey Brian, i think its really OK and the proportions seem to a lot better than on other IM releases around the shoulder and pecs area. It might be a bit too obvious in the bright light. Have a good weekend and thanks for checking. :)
definitely agree with you, I was so ready to drop 3 bills on this figure but the shoulder gap is a HUGE disappointment. Something that obvious won't get any portion of my check. Even though the figure is beautiful but I think the best pose for this figure is just a museum pose in its base. Thanks for your review.
Elvi alta Check out my friends ssjoeducatiboys review: th-cam.com/video/rET3ceCA4uw/w-d-xo.html , he shows that the gap is really only there when not aligning the pads correctly.
Great video man! It's a shame they didn't add more die cast to this figure, and I feel like they could have added some kind of articulation to the ab pieces
We finally get that fucking pose!!! Love the box. And i saw you moved the shoulder to fix it bt that space between the shoulder and body takes aay the effect of being able to fit a human. Nice video as always. Whats next?????
I was gonna skip this one, i have the very first Mark 3 and the battle damage one to, but really who am i kidding, Mark 3 is my favorite armor of them all, and watching your vid just now made be put the pre order on, just in time to ^^ Cheers!
Cool review. But all I hear the whole time is all "plastic here" I am kind of dissapointed about that. In the comparsion pic I really dont see the the difference to the much cheaper figure.. To get a hip part instead of making the figure more articulated is lazy too. Also that the components are not integrated in the figure (like for example in the Mark 2 armored unleashed version) and you have to attach and deattach them is lazy. I will safe my money for something alse..
Great vid and congrats bud. Had not checked to see if this was out. Should check my email and hit up Anthony. I've been wanting this bad. I have the original BD but this is so sweet and I've always been wanting that little arc reactor. Ok have a great summer dude. Laters.
Upon receiving my piece, many inaccuracies are prevalent as observed. This shows minor and major inaccuracies as I identified them. MAJOR- COLOR is a dark shade of red NOT THE BRIGHT INTENSE red used. Also the color is too glossy even with the dirt and battle worn effects. The red they used is the correct family of red but need to be deepened with a touch of black and dulled down. MAJOR-faceplate gold part has no texture of brushed metal. It lacks broken parallel lines going vertically, MAJOR- lacks the struts or shocks under the arm pit rings on both sides. MINOR- the two metal collar in the center is not spaced correctly, too wide in the figure.. MINOR- the two silver circular notches on either side is in the wrong position in terms of angle and placement. With these problems, it is NOT a perfect match with every reviewer saying that it is a MOVIE accurate figure. I am an illustrator and sculptor and saw these problems after comparing to the move stills. WIthout it, it appears to be accurate. Only really scrutinizing do you see it.
My disappointment lies in only major problems with the figure poseabilities such as the feet don't articulate backwards far enough to simulate flying and forearms and lower legs don't fold PAST 90 degrees upwards. Ball of the thumb don't fold independently like our hands do. It lacks this movement to reach a full grasp. My huge toy biz spider-man articulation far reaches superiority in articulation on points and sophistication. Their total is 60 point of articulation vs hottoys 30. Get working hot toys on these aspects as toybiz is far cheaper than yours. If you claim and feel proud of your products and justifying the cost of $300 + for your figs improve on these things as collectors expect EXCELLENT ATTENTION to details not semi good details.
just got mine and i am very very pleased :) .. and wow this Video Quality is unbelievable Andre
Amazing figure! Cannot wait to get my first (and last lol) Iron Man figure!! Great look at another figure Andre!

***** yep sw will be a world of hurt to the wallet but I think the variety will be ok.
I just ended up buying this figure Andre. Should have it in a few days : )
Looks awesome. Can`t wait. Great review
This is my favorite iron Man from all hot toys es como la figura mas apegada ala caricatura
amazing review, what parts are made by metal
only the legs?

It is interesting to see your views. 👍🏻👍🏻
+xenomorph, any chance you can do a quick guide video on the shoulder gap issue plaguing this figure? Would really like emphasis on showing the figure fully hiding the gap.

Great vid....like always. I have this on pre order, really excited now. Appreciate the effort to review it.
Thanks for the review Andre just got mine in today haven't had a chance to inspect it everything looks great Im just surprised they made that mid section static. That's a bit of a let down all in all looks great.
What type of video Camera do you use for recording this review? It has amazing quality.
Will you review the stealth iron man????
This looks great! I live in Switzerland aswell and am currently still waiting for the Swisss retailer to get these. This will be my first Iron Man 1/6 scale so im glad I waited a little bit for a real nice one. Takign AGES tho...

Great video. Love your Hot Toys reviews. One question though. Which do you prefer, the IM Mark 3 Die-cast or the Avengers Age of Ultron IM Mark 43 Die-Cast?
Should I get this or mark 42 I don't know.

The landing pose looks amazing and worth buying just for that!
it's nice to see this revisited but those arm gaps are very distracting

Thanx ***** this really helped.
do you know if the crotch on the new mark 3 is interchangeable with mark 7
Great video man! It's a shame they didn't add more die cast to this figure, and I feel like they could have added some kind of articulation to the ab pieces
I agree - the arm gaps are like canyons on the figure. It looks pretty good otherwise.
As always, thanks for the review!

Whats the title for thr background song?
Question do you have any pink panty issue
Let down figure! To call it die cast is a bit much. I just don't know what they were thinking with this one.

AMAZIN hot toys iron man
Thank you for the review . Extremely disappointed about zero ab crunch .
Can compare with armor unleashed mark 2
Hi, does someone know a cheap shop where i can buy Hot Toys in Europe or in Germany/Austria?
Thanks!
You are asking for the impossible
(I'm not saying that there isn't hot toys in Germany/Australia,but there isn't a cheap hot toys)
i want the mark 4 diecast, hopeing that day will come

I wish it was a purplish red color.
Interchangeable hip is just lazy design but still this piece looks impressive
It is real sad that S.H. Figuarts beats this one...
Seems like it's more plastic than die cast
that plastic chest piece is really a bummer.king arts mark III slated for release next year will blow this away.
+Nomadunlimited thanks for the detailed review though
