Great build video! Nice bit of kit - love my LD2 Stock Spec. Schumacher builds are all about staple management and I wish they find another way to seal the parts bag although I’m going contradict myself here and say that is quite satisfying opening the bags and removing the staples 🤣
That steering hop up part was full of bling this car looks great. I think when I go to the Netherlands for work soon I will get one delivered to our HQ then take back to Malaysia.
Lil tip. I like to empty parts bags into old plastic takeaway cartons (washed of course). Avoids any small items going walkies off under the table and under the beer fridge never to be seen again.
My god, I didn’t expect you to have started so soon 😂 but superb stuff and thank you Carl for doing so. Turn buckles, my god my fingers wasn’t happy doing them on the dirt master 😂 looks like it goes together very well and the instructions so far are clear to follow.
I just ordered the LD3, I’m 50 and getting back into rc cars 😅👍🏼
Can’t wait to get on the track
Good job Boss! Great to see you tackling the LD3 and a build video. Very enjoyable to watch!
Cheers buddy car finished now
Bravo! Well done. The personal POV is really a nice touch.
Thank you very much!

Still finding staples a week later

Sounds like a plan

I normally do that but with it being one little bag at a time I found it easier this way
I like to tip everything out on the bench and spend hours looking for the bits and rebuilding multiple times for bits I’ve missed out 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Nice build so far Boss! Building it yourself at least you don't have to worry that Mark has made any mistakes that will show up on race day!
True but then I need to trust that I have not made any mistakes
Great video, really enjoyed it, looking forward too part two
Car done just need editing now
tyres are going to be a huge decider with this rig
Just waiting on a delivery
Awesome stuff, I'm tempted by an LD3 maybe early next year....
We will have loads on the channel by then

Yeah turn buckles can be a challenge
Great stuff keep um coming 😁
Thanks! Will do!
A great video
Cheers handy man
I know I'm mental but I feel like if you build your car you will feel more connected to it!
I get it ….
Thats normal. Thats how it has been throughout history with anything
Nice!
Thanks!
nice review.....(and this from a touring car driver ;))))
Hahaha thanks for watching
Up to now, all my RC cars have been RTR. I think im ready to build a car. It may give me some idea of how it works.😂
It is an enjoyable process
Brilliant thanks for doing this big like
Any ideas what servo you will use
Not yet
Suggestions ???
@@PopalongRC I like savox servos there not the fastest or slowest but do the job
SAVOX DIGI LOW PROFILE SERVO 9.0KG@6V £45 - £50
you forgot the grease on the outdrives 🤣 the manual told you that
He probably did but didn’t show it
The grease is there now
If you weigh in the staples at the end of the build, you'll get half your money back!
I love my LD2, but it's way better than i can drive it
I imagine this car is far better than I am a driver
I will leave Mark to do the shouting at you after watching this video 😂
Yeah
Par for the course
Looking to get an LD3 for mainly Grass outdoor racing, would you recommend the M or D for this?
I’d imagine D but not run much on grass so can’t confidently say …
Interesting that the cut outs are not in the towers? Maybe a late change for durability?
Pockets on the other side perhaps? Carl are they the correct way round?
Boss now you have this new car you have no excuses! You need to suck less. Good luck 👊
Very true
Hahaha
Looks like I’m selling the Radix 6 for an LD 3 then😅
Hahahahah
