I have some pink linen napkins that are huge and I think they will work nicely for this project! I didn't know that linen bread bags even existed until watching this video! I have started making my own breads and biscuits so I definitely want to make a bread bag. Very interesting to learn that linen is made from flax!!
Great idea&as a dressmaker I an see you thought to show the insides&loved your easier than my idea for tie-Good you look so like my daughter but with more of ourGerman ingenuity🎉
OOps, took me over an hour....but that's because I didn't follow directions, the first time! Thank you SO much for this video! I LOVE this bread bag! :)
I’m so happy to have found this tutorial! It’s excellent! Question: the striped end that you cut off and suggested saving for other projects! Could that not be used for the drawstring?
Love it❤. Will be making for gifts for my bread baking girlfriends!
Nice!! That's awesome! Happy sewing 😊 ~ Anja

I love that you upcycle a towel in this video. Also love your Pfaff.
This was a great tutorial! Thank you so much 👍🏻 I've made one with a lace trim around it.
I love these and will make a few for myself and my son!
Yay! I am sure you and he will love them 😊 ~ Anja

Sure, you can absolutely use it 👍
I love the tutorial! Would 100% cotton dish towels work just as well?
Nice! Cotton would work but linen has better keep-bread-fresh properties 😊 ~ Anja
Amazin tutorial, easy to follow and great results! Thank you so much for sharing this!
Love your machine!! I’m a Pfaff fan! I have an old 630
Oooo I hope mine turns out as nice as yours. I'm not an experienced sewer. 🙏 Thank u for this!
You can do it!
Great 👍 idea ❤Thank You
Thank you! I am glad you like this little project 😊 ~ Anja
Great project; thanks for sharing!

You are welcome 😊 ~ Anja
What are your thoughts on using “tea towels”?
I enjoy all your work. Thank you!
Tea towels work great 👍 ~ Anja
Would linen cotton blend work? It isn’t always easy or economical to find pure linen. Thanks and really appreciate your tutorials
Cotton linen blend will also work! Happy sewing 😊 ~ Anja
Would flour sack towels be good to use for this?
Yes, absolutely. You can use whatever linen materials you can find
I plan to thrift some linen fabric for this but I’m wondering would cotton fabric do? I have tons of cotton.
Yes, definitely
As soon as I heard the first scuffle in the back of the video I just knew it was a cat LOL
What is everyone using for the rope or tie? I don’t see it listed and don’t want crochet.
You can just buy cord at a fabric store or online. Hope this helps ~ Anja
I used that flat soft cotton cord that they tie fat squares with. It was ideal.
A good tutorial but there is a simpler way if one is using a tea towel
Cotton doesnt work. It dries out my breads. 💚🌞
That is why I prefer linen 😊 💛 ~ Anja
