The lite looks good because of the smaller screen but the best is definitely OLED

Love my Lite for the pixel density but once you turn the over-saturated vivid screen colors mode OFF on the OLED it looks better. Not as dense though, far easier to see jagged edges.

for me the best change that a Switch could have is having more than 60 FPS the quality is also something cool but the fps is better

I prefer the standard switch just because of the price and the physical switching in between modes. Lite sounds very cool. And the oled also has a better screen. But I like keeping it simple and money saving.
by "the physical switching in between modes" do you mean docking your switch? Cause you can do that with the OLED too

@@spike5499 Portable mode runs 720 resolution, the oled doesn't change the resolution and its just the same but larger screen, it means the standard switch 'for me' is better because it doesn't magnify the pixel that the Oled does, imagine a small 1x1 photo increase its size but not its resolution, not good right? but that's just my own opinion, everybody has a different opinion
@@knivez.official the screen isn't that much larger on the OLED, and everybody says the difference between the resolution on the base model and the OLED is barely noticeable. But the colors are much better, which makes it a much better picture overall
I think the reason the OLED looked darker in the beginning is because you might have it on auto brightness which will do that because on regular brightness it should be like the others but more vivid

Man I never realized the lite looks much better then the regular. I have a lite and my buddies have the regular switch but I guess I never bothered to compare them like this. Definitely the smaller screen on it probably helps
OLED graphics and lighting looks much better than the other two, but the same resolution in a bigger screen is a problem

@@WillyShanker yes its not as good as ps4 and Xbox for gaming mainstream games but I mainly got it for Nintendo games and it can run rocket league at 60 fps I still have fun playing fortnite on the switch

i have the lite and it’s great. for me it stays at a constant 30 and on rocket league i believe it runs 60. great travel device that’s super easy to use!
I don't think switch can run in 60 fps
And the games are optimized to be played on that console, that's why it has more fps in consoles that PC

I got the Oled for Christmas and it’s great. I don’t really care what is better or not because I never got a Nintendo before because I play more on my Xbox but it’s cool
My personal favorite is standard. Idk why it's just looks the best 👌, And for the oled one, for me it has just too strong colours.

@@Jaymanderlord it’s a tablet that connects to a TV, unless you play with it in TV mode 24/7, even then though it’s more of a mobile device than a console.
@@user-ku3sr7cl3u literally why does it matter? the only issue is that it has the performance of a xbox360, but tablets nowadays are powerful to run games at 120fps with console level graphics. nintendo just doesnt like keeping up with the hardware of today.
I'm so happy I have the oled. I didn't realize the color and things would look so different on it. I do think they are all good in their own ways but I enjoy the picture quality more on oled. It would be nice if that was the standard for the switch 2 when it's time.
Oled looks great but in few years you get screen burns because it's so vibrant

I prefer the OLED bc personally, I LOVE the vibrant colors. It suits me very well and I always enjoyed seeing how vibrant everything looks. My sister has an oled and I loved holding hers and looking through her games on it as the vibrant colors look GREAT. I have the original switch with the good battery life and I wanna upgrade so bad. Hopefully I can edit this soon on whether or not I end up upgrading. As long as ya save money. You might be able to get it ❤

I have the Oled version and it’s my first switch ever, I only used handheld and it’s a truly great gaming experience, the screen is beautiful, I don’t care about an bump in performance for now…

Honestly, I think the standard looks nicer (personal opinion) I just think that the standard has better contrast and more colors

we both have the same color.
Mine is a bit broken after dropping it alot for the past 2 years.
One of the speakers are broken but that's about it.

Colors are better on OLED but the details are better on lite.
Oled has higher contrast which is 100 now and better image quality so basically your movement for the screen looks better and 4K feature on dock

the OLED one was taken at a different in-game time of day (you can tell by the shadows), i didn't even know that was possible for the chapter 3 opening.

I have all 3. I don't use the standard launch model anymore, the Switch Lite I use for classic games because that D-Pad is a godsend, and the OLED is beautiful in handheld mode. I have the Splatoon 3 model and I absolutely love it.
How do you feel about Splatoon after playing it a few days? Still worth trying out

For standard, was it the new or older version of the regular switches?
I think it was around 2019 they did an upgrade on the screens and batteries without saying stuff. People looked at the back of their switches for a model number to find out which they had

The OLED is rendering something different. Blue doesn't translate to purple from LCD to OLED

Trying to get into the Nintendo switch world. I was thinking to go for the lite because I don't really have time to sit infront of a tv and game that often. But I the. I was looking at the OLED as well. What do you recommend? I'll be play mostly hand-held.
Lite is good if your on a limited budget and strictly handheld. But OLED is best option if you can afford it
If you don't have time to sit Infront of a tv then go for the lite. I have the lite and i take it everywhere i go. It's nice and portable, yes the screen may be smaller but i think the standard and OLED would've been too big for me. It is cheaper and also it may not have as many accessories to get with it but I'm happy with my purchase. Also the speakers aren't as great. If someone's talking you'll have trouble hearing so i got myself some Bluetooth earbuds and they do great
I just purchased my new switch 3 days ago. last time I play nintendo device is wii and nds. I get the switch lite, and it's really awesome. the pokemon game looks soooooop much better than nds.
if you had a younger niece or small kids, or young relatives, they would really appreciate the standard switch or oled version.
however, if you only play handheld, just go for switch lite... if you had good budget in this december, you might want to buy oled version... I was tight on the budget, and after trying switch lite, I think the graphics was already so pretty on lite version.
The OLED isn't the "best option", it's the highest spec and commands a premium even though the Lite does the exact same thing for less than half the price if you buy one second hand...
Lite is the only switch that is worth its price to performance

I have both switches and the Oled is 5x clearer , that being said it’s not a must upgrade but it’s definitely a better screen/display in person there’s no comparison.
Also the OLED has 2 options VIVID and STANDARD for the picture
The only real problem I see is with the standard, it's only 30-40 FPS and it has some choppiness

I guess the OLED is using a “vivid” mode if that makes sense. Here’s the best way I can explain it, screens have a certain amount of different shades of colors they can display. The OLED switch is able to display around 120% of the shades that the original switch can display. When you purchase an OLED switch it already has the “vivid mode” turned on. You are able to turn it off which will then make the colors more accurate to what they’re supposed to be showing. But if you like being overwhelmed by more colors you can turn vivid mode on. The thing is that most games are not made with “vivid mode” in mind because it’s not as accurate. So if you want more realistic colors you should be wary of using vivid modes like that. Anyways, I’ll stop there so that I don’t explain too much.

Honestly . I like the screen on the lite more . I don't care about the colors . I care about the display not having long term issues (OLED burn in) so yea

I’m here debating if I should get the Switch Lite. Even though I have an OLED. Other than the screen. The OLED is pretty bad. Pixels show way more on them. The joycons wiggle a little while playing. I just don’t use my switch unless a new Nintendo exclusive releases 😅
