Thank you so much for this brilliant and clear instruction. My father used to change plugs for me but now I must do these twiddly things. You are really good and very nimble fingered! I fumbled a bit and dropped the screws a few times, but da da! I did it, my electric fan with the broken plug is now working again, I feel so empowered!! All thanks and best wishes to you.❤
Wow, thank you so much, i just encountered this problem today. I needed to swirch my burned out slacked switch. I didnt honestly know ehich wire color suits which poles. Thanks again sir
If you have 2 identical wires, please use a 2pin plug if you can't tell which is "Live" wire (where the brown went in video). Please be safe and google/TH-cam some more if unsure, wish you all well!
Nope subtitles made mistakes, even his advice is wrong, only thing right is the video. Red/brown is Live Black/blue is Neutral Green/ yellow green is Earth In case of 2 wires, same colours just skipping earth. In case same colour 2 wires (like someone asked here), I recommend 2 plug pin as switching those is fine. Wish you well!
i bought a power supply which has three pins. my house only accept two pins. how can i use my power supply with my house sockets which is suitable for two pins?????
I'd probably recommend changing the socket, cheaper than a 2 pin power supply which is available but is sort of protruding and easier to break off. Wish you well!

Breaker flips and the house goes dark, burning your switch or extension OR burning it all together (extension, switch and breaker turns off). Very unsafe won't recommend. If unsure or both colours match (like a comment I read on here), I'd recommend 2 pin plug for 2 wires, won't matter the placement of the wires in those Blue/black is Neutral Red/brown is Live Green/yellow green is Earth Wish you well!!
Thank you!!! You’re a life saver.🥳
You’re welcome 😊

When insert wrong line into the plug, what will happen when turn on the switch?

At 1.09 mind it shows Earth Brown Neutral Blue its very wrong and misleading :(
There's a mistake in the text... too bad because it's important
thats not earth one :p
did you put the earth on the live?? :O
use your brains bra
😂😂😂😂😂
@@dolphacealweyi5128 ???
The brown one is actually 'live' (this is a mistake in the video). There is no 'earth' in a 2-wire system. The neutral one is earthed at the source
I connected the brown wire to earth
Thanks my girl can use her hair dryer without risk of shocking
Brown wire not ground
are you indian right?
😂😂😂
its wrong
Nope, maybe subtitles but video is fine...2 pin plug as intended is even better but oh well!
