i use ztw in planes , boats etc.. good stuff let the haters hate , but zero esc failures since switching in my trucks. no more HW , castle they don't last or crap fans etc. ztw is all i use for esc in my rc.

@Dean Peckitt dont see why not, i don't have a typhon , but if space is there to fit it yea. You can set it up with your computer like castle link . It will be a beast, the new version with dual fans has been good, im hoping i will have internet available soon id post some vids . But the ztw is a good esc like all electronic systems can have issues. But i dont have issues with ztw been using them a long time. Have many hw too but more failures with hw than ztw. I try not to bash any brand .

@@jaymitchrc happy for you man. I've been seeing and reading some bad experiences from other people and cant really bite the bullet between Flier or ZTW
@@RilatinePopper hey man only you can decide, I have both. I've seen both have bad outcomes...no esc is perfect they are all ticking time bombs. Whichever way you go buy it new and keep receipt close just in case. Make sure you run the esc according to.fhe manufacturers guidance and you should be fine.
@@jaymitchrc that is 100% true! I'm used to the Hobbywing reliability lol. But need more power in these heavy rigs.
Thinking about the ZTW combo with the 70120 motor 620kv. Which is what ZTW sells them with. A company in Germany has the combo in stock for 550€ but can get the combo for roughly 100€ cheaper straight from China. That also means warranty will be more difficult. Decisions decisions...!

The ztw is still around I have moved it to a new build I'm working on. The ztw is a beast in this car paired with the 2028 800kv.
I got two of them and can’t get them to work what motor are you using
Im using Castle Creations 2028 800kv.
Did you have to use program card first to get it to work

@@championcarcare8207 sounds like you need to calibrate the esc. Look at your manual or search for video on yourube that goes through process
How did you get it to work
Installed motor nd followed the clibration guidance for the ESC. Search youtube for the Ztw esc Calibration steps in case you lost the instructions from the box
Click bait says nothing in the title thats its a 8s run but says its a 12s run
