    I love the two pendants you made. And, like other people have said, your personality is just a tiny bit different on these older videos than they are on the newer videos. But it’s still you you’re just more business like, more to the point and that’s all. And now you have a lot of fun with your videos.
    I think your art is incredible and someday when Life gives me a couple minutes time, I will try to make most of the things that you’ve made. And remember copying someone else’s art is an incredible form of flattery. I wanted to say thank you for having the courage to put yourself out like this in the very beginning . Because you do sound a bit shy.

    Im gonna make one at work tomorow, but like 4 by 10 inches, found a white oak skid that came with a batch of wood, really nice 4 x 4 x 42, should be perfect, dremels are useful, but make the grain not matter, i like a challenge so ill rough it with a band saw and an edge sander, but the rest will b good ol fashion knife!

    A nice video, what speeds did you use the dremel for carving? I cut down the little black cutting discs to cut narrow deep lines! Just put the disc on the dremel then switch it on, the disc can be cut with a Stanley knife blade to whatever size you need, I use discs about 8 to 10mm for tight curved lines, they cut wood great.

    • @BobbyDukeArts
      @BobbyDukeArts  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      thanks! that's a good idea, but I wanted the mouth line to be narrower than what one of those discs could create. I do use those quite a bit though.

      I have a set of those miniature palm chisels but not used them but I've got to give them a go after seeing your video. The skulls look great, the wood must have been a hard grain! Perfect for detailed work. Also never used Coconut Oil! But the finish that it gives is nice, I can see mme getting a bottle.
