CONCEALED Campervan Toilet | Fiat Ducato L2H2 | UK Self-Build Campervan Conversion

This is a follow up video to our main seat build video ( • Campervan BENCH SEAT |... ) where we decided to incorporate a fixed storage area for our Thetford Porta Potti 365 toilet. We decided to include a toilet in the build at a later stage and we intend to use it for emergencies only but as this is an L2H2 we don't have a lot of living space available and didn't want to lose any. But we did want the toilet hidden out of sight. In order to achieve this, and make sure the toilet was usable without having to move it, we decided to extend our bench seat into an L-shape and build a dedicated storage box for the toilet. It has an opening lid and cupboard door so we can access the toilet but when it's hidden way, it just looks like part of the main seat. It also gives space for both of us to sit on the seat with our legs stretched out.

Great neat job they are quite heavy if you sit the toilet in a thin carpet tile it will slide in and out better.

Maybe, but learning as I go and actually they’re not too bad weight wise. And the overall conversion is way under 3.5T so we’re happy.
